These strains stay fairly small and are all CBD Autos. Only the Critical CBD has potential for any noticable amount of thc. They will all probably be used for oil. We will see. Might try some to sample flavor. Just doing some strain variety/hunting for something new to add in to the keeper collection. The goal is to do only light defoliation. Little to no LST. Just SeaOfGreen it. Not looking for yield just potential future grow keeper strains that I can chuck in with a photoperiod run while doing long vegging. In initial 9-net pot tote I noticed some discoloration in one of them (Solomatic). Tested PH and it had plunged to 5.0. That was after 1 1/2 weeks of 9 plants in one res. Not too bad. I also accidentally dropped one into a res during first change to the 9 net pot tote. Completely dunked it. 😵 Made a mess trying to get it out as quickly as possible and dry it off before it absorbed too much and started to burn. It is the one in the bottom right next to the humidifier. Seems to be doing ok. 😅 Split them up into 3 10gallon totes. About 8 gallons of water in each. Trying to keep the water just under the Coco pots inside the net pots. They are in net pots for added support. They are in coco coir nursery pots inside net pots and not my usual rockwool/hydroton clay pebbles because I started them out DrainToWaste. Then just let them sit in an inch of nutes and top up every 3 days. Finally decided to go DeepWaterCulture for ease. I actually prefer this because when I take them out to move them or do a res change, clay pebbles don't go all over the place! I cut out the middle of the net pots so the roots can actually grow through with ease. Growing from seeds, so I want to give the main taproot enough space to grow. I am not trying to grow the biggest. Set lights to ~380 ppfd. Just using Photone app. Don't think it registers the IR/UV supplemental bars (2) that I have. Sticking with 2 HIGROW 36Watt Blue spectrum bulbs and 1 Red/Deep red spectrum. Not sure the effect veg spectrum has on an Auto if any at all. I will either swap those to 2 red/1 blue during flower or go all red. Not sure yet. Most of the light is just the bar style SpiderFarmer light. First time using it. Use to use 2 Sayhon lights that had a supplemental uv/blue/ir built into them. They made incredibly frosty buds (was growing some chemdog x C99 though so that might explain it). Made the tent too hot 87+. If the humidifier ran out, it would go over 90. The par wasn't what this light can do and no where near as even. Light barely fits in a 2x4. Even the very corners get exact same par as middle of tent. Will help with SoG for sure! PH'd to 5.6 because I know they will rise to just under 6 in a day or 2. Will cut out SuperThrive in next reservoir change in a week or 2. Just trying it out to see if it helps with root development in DWC. I'm used to growing DTW Coco. Silica will get reduced too. I would reduce 2nd week flower in a photo, but these are short flower autos, so I will cut it to 1/2 strength or probably 1/4 by next res change. MaxiGro and MaxiBloom are 1-2tsp/gallon. 8-16 total for each ~8gallon res. (haven't actually measured. Might do that next res change). I did 6 of Gro and 4 of Bloom. 10 tsp/Gal total. Growing multiple strains, not sure which will be hungry and which wont. I will do some swapping around as I go if I need to so the heavy feeders are in one tote and light in another and will vary nute strength as needed. For now, went heavier than I usually do with DWC, but I'm used to photos, not autos. I assume they are hungrier because they are faster growing. We will see... I have them somewhat grouped by strain and size.

6/4 - Beginning of week 3 (Turned off HIGROW red/blue lights for photos to make it easier on the eyes 😎) Switched them so now running 2 red/1 blue rather than the other way around. Switched to 20hr light on schedule to keep temps cooler and give a window to do foliar spray if needed. Held off on doing one and glad I did. Plants looking slightly darker green and the slight mag? deficiency starting to show has subsided as far as I can tell. Still trying to just leave them alone as much as I can to see what their base genetics are like. No LST or defoliation so far. Leaving any deficient old base fan leaves on the plants for now. -All CBD Blueberry showing first pistils. The one I was unsure of is also showing pistils so I'm assuming it is also Blueberry. One is stretching a lot. Getting same treatment as the others. It is just double the height. Just starting to bush a little. 7.5 inches. The other 3 are all 4-4.5 in. Stem is way too strong to LST without breaking it. Silica doing its thing 😁 -Solomatic both showing pistils. Getting quite bushy. 5.5 inches -Purplematics are my favorite so far. No pistils yet on either. Very busy plants. Some height to them too. Almost the size of the stretchy Blueberry. Larger Purplematic is 7in., the other is 5.5 -Critical CBD is very flat and very wide. 14 inch wing span. Only 4 inches tall. Looks like it was sat on. 😆 With some plants showing signs of pre-flower but others not, I will hold off on res change. Was planning every 2 weeks, but the transitional phase change will happen when I feel it's needed. Might wait a few days and change 2 of them. Swap the plants around so the higher bloom feed is available for the ones starting to show hairs. PH has risen in all 10gallon totes to 6.4. Has sat steady there for a few days now. I am not too worried as it is only the Critical showing signs of deficiency and only in the older fan leaves. One of the Solomatic also showing minor deficiency on first set of fan leaves. Old enough where I'm not converned. New growth looks good on all plants.

6/8 - Did have to defoliate. It was getting too bushy and reducing airflow/light. I thought it might help them stretch looking for light, but they just weren't. Took off all fan leaves branching from main stem. 6/10 - They have been on bloom nutrients for a few days now and all is well except for Solomatic. Both of them are clawing. The tallest Blueberry has the slightest clawing but hardly noticable. Guess the Solomatics are a nitrogen sensitive strain. Will reduce next reservoir change. The larger of the Purplematic has a lower branch that has shot up past the top now. All is looking bushy and starting to show flowering branching. Still only a few pistils. Largest Blueberry is 11 inches. Smallest plant is also a Blueberry at 5.5 inches. - They are drinking about 1gallon a week -1300ppm PH 5.9 sitting steady since res change. no adjustments needed -turned up par at canopy from 380 to 580. If all is ok will bump it up as flowers start to develop. Just few white hairs on all plants at the moment. Supplemental Light- Turned off UVA. Keeping IR on. Took out Blue spectrum HIGROW light. Keeping 2 Reds in but turned off at the moment. Will turn on uv/red boost later in flowering 6/12 - They are stretching now. The leggy blueberry grew almost 3 inches in 2 days. The smallest grew almost an inch. Everything is stretching which is good because when tucking a few leaves on the Critical I found condensation on a leaf that had another laying on top of it. Lowered the Humidifier's settings to 40% down from 50%. It sits about 5 higher around the tent of what it is set at in a small clustered 2x4 sog grow. - lifted spider farmer G4500 light up 2 inches on the right side. about an inch on the left. Turned it up a little to 60% power. 600 par at canopy. That is using photone free app. Doesn't include the uv/ir spectrum because they are outside par. -Slight smell to the tent now. Mostly coming from the Critical and Solomatic. The others don't smell yet.

6/17 - res change time. tote 1 drinking the most followed by tote 3 and then 2 was only half gone. - Solomatic looking farther along than the rest. 2 orange pistils already. Showing some color in the flowers. - Purplematic's stems have purple streaks on the stem. Everything else in tent is green. - Critical CBD Auto doesn't look to be an auto... No sign of flowering. Supposed to be same flowering time (7-8 weeks) as Purplematic and Solomatic. I'm also growing one in soil. It was started later. Will test to see if that is photo. It's in a tent with photos. Keeping light schedule 20-4 in this tent. Will just see what happens with it. - Did do a pretty major defoliation. Mostly to clean up the Critical and let light through the larger of the Blueberries. Decided to just clean everything up. Probably last defoliation for them all. Went pretty hard with it. - Roots all look about the same in each tote. Nothing crazy or gross. - Purplematic lower branches did a great job stretching up to almost the same height as main stem. Both plants. Like the structure of that strain. Solomatic is doing some great stacking. Blueberries all look great. Small but tree like. Other than the 1 oversized one that is. 6/22 - Minor leaf plucking to open up lowers to light. Top canopy is about 875 par. Smallest plant is around 650 par. (Not accounting for the ir/uv light) - I've given up on the Crop King Seeds Critical CBD Auto. Not trashed it, but put it in a photoperiod tent that was switched to 12/12 3 days ago. It was thrown in some spare amended soil I had. Might hermie but I want to confirm that it is a photo and I was sold the wrong seeds. I have another one already in that tent and if it also starts to flower being half the height of this one then I will know for sure. Could have been an honest mistake. Simple human error. They do just slap a label on a packet of seeds and they sell multiple strains of Critical. Makes me wonder though if people are getting what they are ordering. Worrying, a little, if anyone is trying to buy specifics for medical reasons and taking a gamble. 😕Don't want to judge too harshly until I confirm they are photos not autos. I will update if/when I see pistils and that is if it survives the shock of going from dwc to soil. (didn't have any pure coco around or would have done that for less shock) -and in case anyone is wondering. No, I didn't mix up any seeds other than the one that was either critical or blueberry that I wasn't sure about. This one is the only super bushy one growing exactly like the one I have in another tent growing in soil the whole time. That one is about 2-3 weeks behind.

6/24- Leaves wilted in pics because of defoliation and adding nutes in cold water to the totes. Added 2.5 gallons into each res. Added KoolBloom 50/50 ratio with MaxiBloom. Will res change tomorrow or day after. Just doing a short quick PK boost to assist the ones falling behind in structure. - All Blueberries are swelling up all over except for the extra-large one. Looks very sativa next to the other ones. Bigger, stretchier and airy spaced out small popcorn buds. Tallest is 28.5 inches. The smallest one is 14.25 inches. They are the tallest and smallest plants in the tent. - One Solomatic has fairly colorful buds with the purple bleeding into the leaves slightly. Structure is great if they just swell up more. Supposed to be a fast small yielder though. The other, slightly larger one, I don't like. Too airy - One Purplematic is larger and also airy/ behind in bud development. The other is shorter and fattening up. Seems to be a theme with these. Larger plants are behind in bud development. We will see if they catch up and pass the smaller plants as time passes. Did a defoliation to help lower humidity and let the smaller plants get an extra 50-100 par from the light. Temp went up to 85ish so they will drink more of the 1-2 day pk boost before res chance hopefully. The Critical "auto" I removed and put in the 12/12 tent is showing hairs along with the one about half its age that has been in that tent the whole time. Definitely not an auto. I'll still grow it out and get it tested to try and determine if the strain is correct at least. 6/26 - All plants showing slightest tip burn on about 1/4 of their leaves. Hasn't gotten any worse 12hrs after noticing. - Added between all 3 totes ~7gallons of nutrient mix. 6tsp MaxiBloom 2tsp KoolBloom and small amount (~6ml) of CalMag. PH'd to 5.9 Holding off on res change because it doesn't look like it needs it yet. Keeping an eye on it though

7/1- Had to supercrop tallest blueberry. Using the supplemental blue and deep red HIGROW lights to raise par to aid the smaller plants. Reservoirs are getting low and will be filled tomorrow Defoliated the largest blueberry and decided to just do the whole tent one last time before harvest. Largest blueberry might end up being all popcorn buds. I will let it go longer than the others to see what happens. Stretching seems about done and now just fattening up. Par is around 900 for the top of the largest blueberry. 800 for the largest Purplematic. Around 650-700 for all the smaller ones. Humidity roughly 45% pre-defoliation. Will drop to maybe 38-40 post-defoliation. Co2 sits around 900. I exercise for about an hour every other day near the tent and my Co2 meter spikes around 3000 😃 Hard to tell difference in smells. Everything smells slightly skunky when opening the tent and then at the slightest touch a pungent pine. Nothing too out of the ordinary. Bud size, the Solomatics are tiny. Lots of leaves and they are frosty. Will possibly just have to fresh-frozen them to get the most out of the leaves. They are supposed to be highest cbd levels topping at around 21%. Purplematic is my favorite structure. Blueberry is a close 2nd but there is just too much variability between them. The purplematics are a little different in size, but the structure is the same. Consistency is a plus in autos. No time to tame and sculpt like a photo-period to get them to even out. 7/2 - Reservoirs filled. Changed out half of what was left in each tote (1-3) gallons. Filled with fresh nutrient mix 1600ppm 5.9ph. Will probably just add water to dilute for flush from this point on. Not too worried about pushing the largest blueberry to fatten up. If I really feel up to it I might throw it in a 7gallon bucket and let it finish. Not sure though. It just wasn't a good roll of the dice for a sog res sharing grow. Fought with it every step so far instead of taking it out. I don't think the others suffered much because of the supplemental bulbs and the ability to just tilt the net pots to point the plants in whatever direction gets them the most space.

7/9- Topped up totes with nutrient water. 1600 ppm 6.0ph. Middle tote hardly drinking anything. Tote 1 half empty. Tote 3 almost empty. Largest Blueberry starting to bud up finally. Added 1/8 tsp of Open Sesame mainly for the late blooming Blueberry because most of the nutrient mix went into that tote. About 4.5gallons of the 6gallons I mixed up. Some signs of burning but not too concerned. Will be topping up mid week with plain water. Not too much. Not trying to flush yet. Plucked about 20 leaves from largest plant just so smaller ones next to it can still get some light. Average ppfd 800 at top of each plant. Moving around the supplemental bulbs to keep it even even though the canopy isn't. 7/12- Diluted totes with water. The right one with the largest blueberry finally fattening up is drinking a lot! Found it flopped over when opening the tent. Holding it up with a tie now. PPM was over 3000. Filling with PH'd water its now just over 2000. The other totes I dialed down to around 800-900ppm. They were around 2000. Turned off all supplemental lights except for UVA bars. Trying to bring the temps down a bit to the low-mid 70s.

7/15 -Just topping up with water at this point. PPM still around 1800 in tote 3 with largest blueberry that is behind all the others. Other 2 totes around 800 ppm and dropping with each water top-up -UV/IR still on but slightly dimmed lights to help drop temps a bit - Everything smells the same : pine, gas, lemon with slight hint of mint. Solomatics have the slightest hint of bitter coffee. Purplematics have a hint of sweetness. The larger of the Purplematics is the only one that stands out. Very citrus with slight fruityness and hints of floral. Wish it was a photoperiod so I could have taken clones or tried to reveg. Very dense buds! Solomatics are so leafy it will just all go straight to hash or oil. Can't be bothered to trim it even though both are small. Blueberries are just too inconsistent. Too much variety to want to grow it again. Especially SoG style with some being tiny and others huge in comparison - Trichomes are mostly cloudy with 1 or 2 amber here and there. Largest Blueberry is mostly clear. 7/18 - Added about 1.5-2 gallons into each res with Bush Doctor Sledgehammer (Yucca). PH'd to 6.1-6.2 at around 90ppm. -Going to harvest tomorrow as it fits my schedule best. Hard to find time. A little late for the front blueberry in tote 3 and early for the large one in the back. About right for the rest of them. - Some purpling happening on the Purplematics and a top or 2 of the largest blueberry even though it is far from harvest. - 7/16 - Did a res change on all 3 totes. Only filled ~ 2-3 gallons in each. 450 ppm ish at 6.08 PH -introduced BioAG Ful-Power (humic acid) this nutrient swap with just a small amount of maxibloom mostly for the micro nutrients and CalMag. Plants weren't drinking very much so it will be a slow "flush". Not going to 0 nutes ever. This will be as low as it gets until harvest. Not bothering catering to the largest Blueberry. It had potential but too little too late. If I had another tent available then I would have separated it, but this grow is just testing different strains I haven't tried yet. Don't mind it being harvested quite early - turned off UV/IR just to drop temps slightly. Its been very hot lately
