Hi guys, just a quick info for whoever read this diary: I started this run with two plants in 3x3 but during Week 6 I had to remove the one on the right due slow growth (issue started after I pruned her roots) and moved the good one in a 2x2 box till the end! Enjoy the reading. 🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱 Fourth run begins. 🦍🍪Gorilla Cookies FF by FB420, my second time with photoperiods. They will share the 3x3 grow box and the 150 watt lamp. As always I'll grow this seeds in hydroponic DWC setup, this time in 30 liters pot, with Vents TT100 for air extraction and Hailea air pump! 🦍🍪Gorilla Cookies FF by FB420 Bred from hand-picked Girl Scout Cookies and Gorilla Glue #4 genetics in combination with the Gorilla Cookies Auto, this variety takes all the best traits from its parents to the next level. This wonderfully balanced hybrid thrives indoors and outdoors, and in all types of climates while being super resilient to bugs and pests. It’s a massive yielder that offers growers of all levels yields of up to 650 g/m2 of top-shelf bud that does not disappoint in any way. Being one of the most powerful versions of these genetics, Gorilla Cookies FF boasts a whopping 29% THC. This feminized photoperiod strain shows off insane amounts of resin that gives literal meaning to the old saying ‘you eat with your eyes’ and reeks of a delicious mix of sweet fruits and cookie dough with a strong earthy background that’ll make your mouth water as soon as you start grinding the buds. This perfectly balanced hybrid offers an intense euphoric effect that’ll stamp a huge smile on your face and have you giggling at anything and anyone. As you continue to smoke, the energizing effect slowly transforms into a potent body relaxation that lasts for hours on end and will have you deeply relaxed no matter where you are. Gorilla Cookies FF offers an intense, elaborate mix of sweet, kushy, and earthy flavorings that come hand-in-hand with subtle hints of fruit, citrus, and diesel. Upon exhale, expect a spicy, nutty cookie dough taste with a heavy earthy background that rounds up the smoke and smoothes it out. As you exhale, the flavors open up and give place to herbal and more citrusy nuances that are just as delicious and will keep you coming back for more. 🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱 🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱 🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱 GROW JOURNAL 🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱 🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱 🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱 9/6/23 - Seeds in a glass of demineralized water for 12 hours, then in root riot. Watering twice/day with demineralized water. 10/6/23 - Seeds under the lamp 24/0 to lead the seedlings to the light source (dimmer: 10%). After 20 hours in root riot the seeds have germinated, I see the broken shells and the first roots. 11/6/23 - All seeds germinated, good job @Fast_Buds! In a couple of days I'll decide which one will be removed. Light still at minimum 24/0. Tomorrow is the 1° day veg.

WEEK 1 VEG = 12/6/23 (DAY 1) ---> 18/6/23 (DAY 7) ⚡- Light: 50 cm distance / 25% dimmer = 40 watt during the first two days. Then 60% = 90 watt; ⌛- 18/6 light cycle; 🌡️- 26° C - 65% RH average; 💧- Watering twice/day trought the clay - 100ml/day. Solution in the tank just touches the net pot to stimulate roots. During day 3 I added Rootbastic 0.3 ml/l: EC 0.6; 🌱- Seedling stage begins. Starting the crop in my old and little DWCs, around week 3 I'll move the plants to the big ones. That's the reason why I inserted the root riot on the top of the netpot, I want the plants will make the root systems into that pot, fill it and then move them into a bigger one. I guess plants are of two different phenotypes. Inserted wood support for seedlings.

Added humidifier during the week to improve RH; 📑- PH 5.8 - EC 0.8 in DWC; in the middle of the week I raised EC to 1; 💧- Watering once/day trought the clay - 200ml/day. Added in the game Atami A+B and CalMag; 🌱- Things are going slower than my old crops, but both have several roots in DWC. That's normal I guess, they needed more time to reach the solution trought the clay. During this week I expect a big growth! As you can see at DAY 11, difference between the plants is huge. At the end of this week they show some ruined leaves, the old ones, but everything looks fine!

I'm thinking about quitting this crop, this time it will be hard manage the temperature.

She still hasn't recovered from the stress of the past few days. As the weeks go by, the difference between them is too big, this could make problems; ✂️- FIMmed the only one left during DAY 39, then removed a couple of leaves; 🌱- Only one plant in the game now, I have to change my plans and I give her more time before switch, I guess 3 more weeks.

I bent the main one and lateral branches trough the net; 🌱- Next week will be the last week of veg, then switch to 12/12; ⚠️- During the DWC change I checked the roots and they look bad. I guess that's the problem, probably root rot! I'll decide what to do around August 20th, after my vacation!

hey buddy, first of all - nice grow so far. You can check several things: - environmental conditions (definitely heat stress as well - curling leaves and pointing upwards) - not pointing fan at plant and maybe lower light for a few days that plants can recover or put it further away. - ph/ec maybe u got little nutrients lockout - Potassium Deficiency (burned leave tip/edges and yellowing in margins But I would say in your case it started with Potassium Deficiency and got some heat stress as well on top. So I would suggest flush it once - adjust ph/ec and get new nutes inside or just add Potassium and lower lights for a few days. they will recover for sure. if you got further questions just DM me :) Good Luck buddy

Removed everything from the clay up to 40 cm of plant height, left all flowering sites in the remaining 50 cm; 🌱- 4° week of flowering done. Plant is stretching too much, she got 22 cm this week: 72 cm to 94 cm height; 🌸- Preflowers are filling with pistils. I was hoping to see some nice buds at this point, I have a feeling it will take longer than the 7 weeks stated by the breeder; 🏋️‍♂️- I'm thinking about Super Cropping the highest branches. That's the eighth change in 14 weeks, 5 during the vegetative stage and 3 since I flipped the lights to trigger flowering. She's still drinking 2.5 lt/day; ✂️- Supercropping (DAY 30), LST (DAY 30) and light defoliation (DAY 33). Some branches were growing too much and I preferred to bend them to the side for a more uniform canopy. Next week I will only do LST to complete the training; 🌱- 5° week of flowering done. Hey, plant is pretty fine and I guess I harvest at day 63 flo.Anyway during the last 2 weeks I saw this issue on leaves. To be honest I ignored the problem, buds were and are getting bigger without trouble and I was messed up in my personal life. But I'm curious, what causes it?

I agree with some of the guys, that it is an early sign of fading, which would make sense a t this stage, or she could want more nitrogen, not sure though of the composition of your nutes. I would bet on the first one though, the orange bud just recently finished and she started to fade very similar to yours. Also looking at the age of your plant and her expected flowering time, she should be ok to start fading.

WEEK 9 FLO = DAY 57 FLO ---> DAY 63 FLO ⚡- Light: 20 cm distance / 100% dimmer = 150 watt; ⌛- 10/14 light cycle. Added 1 hour of dark to help with ripening; 🌡️- 25° C - 65% RH during light / 22° C - 65% RH during night; 📑- PH 6.1 - EC 1.8 in DWC; 💧- She's still drinking 2 lt/day. Next week, the last one I guess, I'll replace DWC with just tap water (EC 0.4) till the harvest; 🌱- 9° week of flowering done. These two weeks of Ripen blend have been great, big progress. If you look carefully some branches are starting to lean to the right due to the weight of the buds, in a few days I'll try to pull them up with LST; 🌸- Buds are hardening and swelling. Pistills are turning brown and trichomes are mostly cloudy, no amber yet; 🏆- Got amazing stuff from @Fast_Buds.

WEEK 10 FLO = DAY 64 FLO ---> DAY 70 FLO ⚡- Light: 20 cm distance / 50% dimmer = 75 watt. Lowered the light to help with ripening; ⌛- 10/14 light cycle; 🌡️- 24° C - 65% RH during light / 22° C - 65% RH during night; 📑- PH 5.6 - EC 0.4 in DWC; 💧- Change DWC, added 30 LT tap water EC 0.4! That's the 10° change in 19 weeks, 5 during the vegetative stage and 5 since I flipped the lights to trigger flowering; ✂️- LST on some branches to keep them upright; 🌱- 10° week of flowering done. After 7 days without nutrients in the reservoir some leaves are turning yellow and buds are darkening; 🌸- Pistills still turning brown. Trichomes are mostly cloudy/milky, some amber here and there. Next week will be the last one. I'm planning to harvest during day 75 FLO.

WEEK 11 FLO = DAY 71 FLO --- DAY 77 FLO ⚡- Light: 20 cm distance / 50% dimmer = 75 watt; ⌛- 10/14 light cycle; 🌡️- 24° C - 65% RH during light / 21° C - 65% RH during night; 📑- PH 6 - EC 0.1 in DWC; 💧- Change DWC, added 30 LT water EC 0.1. That's the 11° change in 20 weeks, 5 during the vegetative stage and 6 since I flipped the lights to trigger flowering; ✅ HARVEST (DAY 75 FLO) - I removed water on DAY 73 FLO (after 9 days flush), then in dark for 2 days; - Cut the plant on DAY 75, this journey is almost done! - Wet trim, removed fan leaves; - I'll add the "Harvest week" after curing, once I can taste these buds as they deserve. I guess they need around 45/60 days of curing to show the best flavor and potency. ✅ DRYING STAGE (18 DAYS) - 21° C - 65% RH average; - 18 complete drying days; - Dry trim, removed branches and sugar leaves. ⚖️ DRY WEIGHT 155 gr frosty buds + 30 gr larf + 1.5 gr finger hash. 🔜 "Harvest Week" when curing is done!

🌱🌿🌸Cultivation summary🌸🌿🌱 I started this crop with 2 plants as you can see in the pics, but on week 6 I removed one of them cuz she was too small compared to the other one. 🌱 GERMINATION (3 days) Seeds in a glass of EC 0 water for 12 hours. Then in root riot, under the lamp. It sprouted on day 3. 🌿 GROWING STAGE (9 weeks) During week 3 I made a root pruning and I "transplanted" the plant to a bigger DWC and that caused some stress, so I won't try it again 😁 Anyway the Gorilla FF got 4 defoliation during the veg stage and I FIMmed her during week 6. On week 8 I mounted the ScrOG-net and bent the main stem. During the veg stage PH was always between 5.5 and 6, about EC I start with 0.6 and was 1.7 on the last veg week. 🌸 FLOWERING STAGE (11 weeks) She was 30 cm height when I flipped the light cycle and she reached 100 cm by the end of the week 5 flowering. I bent the branches trough the ScrOG-net during the first 2 weeks flowering, then the week after I made a little defoliation and a lollipopping session. Due the stretching I made some LST on the long branches and for this reason I also SuperCropped five of them. Given the slowness, on week 4 flowering I added an hour of darkness, trying to further stimulate the flowering. Let be honest, I'm not really satisfied because this plant needed 11 weeks flowering to finish and the outcome was good but not great. ✅ HARVEST - From seed to harvest: 139 days (3 days germination + 61 days veg + 75 days flo). - I removed water on DAY 73 flo (after 9 days flush), then in dark for 2 days; - Cut the plant on DAY 75 flo! - Wet trim, removed fan leaves; ✅ DRYING STAGE - Time: 18 days; - Average: 21° C - 65% RH; - Dry trim, removed branches and sugar leaves. ⚖️ DRY WEIGHT 155 gr frosty buds + 30 gr larf + 1.5 gr finger hash. ✅ CURING STAGE - Curing done after 60 days with Boveda 62%.
