Welcome to my Highcloudz Auto VS Fem Diary. Sorry about the delay in updates. Lots of shit going on.
Weeks 3-4 Days 15-28 "fem Veg Days 9-22 "auto Veg Days 10-20 pre flower Days 1-4
Both went through hard ph imbalances due to a bad mix. The fem lost a lot of nodes. There's just fan leafs growing. So I've lollipopped her right up to make for a nice top canopy. So nothing really lost just had to adapt. She's in good form.
The auto went really fast. Flipped by day 24 and was only a seedling for 4 days. Her growth has been nothing but fantastic and amazing to see a plant go so fast.
As for the diet.. all my plants do be fine. Then once they get past pre flower I've had nothing but issues. The pigment was worn down. And with such high photosynthesis. It cripples the leafs and they start to die from the top down. And don't stop. Only thing that it can be, too much water intake. Its common in co2 if not enough nutrients are been supplied. So, I've upped the EC considerably and no more PH'in these are organic nutrients and that's where I messed up. Lesson learnt..I defo will not be running any co2 grows on a light mix soil. They need lots of nutrients and using organics you need to add a lot more EC wise. Well in my setup.
Alga grow was stopped as soon as I see the auto started to show sex. And then I took out the fem after 12hrs, she took a few more days to flip. But, she was put on 12-12 on day 25
Defoliations were done on both plants. A lot had to be removed from the fem. As she had lots of fan leafs but no nodes above them. So, she not lollipopped. The auto was given a hard defol before she went into heavy pre flower coming up onto day 24 r so.
Thanks to all who stop by and viewed, I look forward to seen your work.
Much appreciation to my sponsors Green House Seeds & Spider-Farmer for allowing me to try these great products.
Now that is an interesting prospect. should answer a lot of questions about the real differences if any. How do you keep up with all these grows. A True Guru and inspirational grower.
@Ganjagrandaddy, Yeah. It was just luck really that I got 2 of the same. Long story. And I thought this would be something a lil dif.
Ah cheers pal. Looking good yourself there mate. Thanks.
Kick ass diary brother I love it, just wondering do you have the same success rate germinating auto seeds as fem/photos? I have only been growing for a few years but i have been close to 95% with photos and probably closer to 75% with autos....
@gottagrowsometime Thank you 💚. I'm growing mine. Don't know if it's auto or photo but I topped it last week. I'll be 👀.
I harvested High Cloudz today. Many thanks ❤️
@TommyBVRSA75, omg. Tell me about it brother. They are not good for high temps. The thing is I learnt about plagron. You only need to PH the products when you're using soil. Any alga nutes, zyms, sugars, green sen they all don't need ph'in with soil.
As for the Vita Rice. You need to pull that before you see heavy pistils. I know it says you can use right up until 3 weeks into flowering. But, them 3 wks begin as soon as the 12-12 starts, r if they cars you need to pull it or cover your heavy pistil area with your hand so no mist gets to your cola.
I got flowerpot parasol. (Yellow mushrooms growing in the soil. Very poisonous to animals not to plants. I'll hit you up and we can talk about it. But, yes. Plagron needs no ph'in as if you're adding that their organic line with soil that's your issue as it was mine. No ph'in their og products
