I used to use the paper towel method but now I leave the seeds in water for 24 hours then put them in a ROOT RIOT CUbe. By growth technology. . Have the cube wet but squeeze out excess moisture. It wants to be wet but not dripping wet. These cubes can be planted straight into your medium when roots appear. I have a decent germination rate. Easily in the high 90% range
