If your Automatic Lady shows some Preflowers its time to cahnge the Light into " Flowering moder. I would recommend you a circle between 18 and 24 Hours with Light.18 is the Minimum and 24 the Max. You can let her run 24/7 but i think everyone needs a Time to Rest a little, a Plant too.I personally give them Most Time 20/4 and some Flowers 22/2 . Check out what is for you / your PLant the Right Lightdosage. Happy growing

Everything still going good. She's definitely taking her time. This is day 42 since germination. The ph problem is gone. Did a little defoliating. Never bothered with lst, decided since this was my first time growing I was just going to let her do her thing and learn from my mistakes.

Not really sure what the issue is with the brown spots on the leaves. The ph of the water is 6.5. I've upped the calmag a bit. I think and maybe I'm wrong I wasn't giving enough water when I watered, no run off, causing nute lock on the roots? Did a thorough flush mid week and changed the watering schedule to 1 gallon every 24 hours if needed. The ph of the run off is 6.5. Buds are getting bigger and they're firm and sticky. Getting impatient and excited.

Not much change in the past week. Buds are still getting fatter, still no trichomes showing. Thinking at least a couple more weeks.

Well I'm on day 68. Buds are still fattening up. Trichomes are mostly clear but they are just starting to change. How long does it usually take from this point? Just giving it straight water now. Leaves look horrible and this literally happened over night. Covered in brown spots. Is this normal for this stage of growth? Looking like maybe another week or so. Any advice would be helpful at this point.

87 days. Thinking I'll probably chop tomorrow. About a 33/33/33 mix of clear, cloudy and amber trichomes. The citrus smell is absolutely incredible.

This was my first time time growing so really a good learning experience. I didn't have any real problems and decided not to to do anything but let her grow on her own. This was a beautiful plant that that grew very large dense buds. Just the second day of drying so I'll update the dry amount before curing. I did dry a bud on our pellet stove, had to try it, and yes it's very strong. Thanks to everyone who gave me advice along the way!

Hi @JFWVT! Well, you will see tiny white hairs (pistils) developing onto the new growth, this is a sign that your plant has started pre-flowering, so this is the right time to switch to flowering spectrum. Don't switch to 12/12 light schedule since this is made for photosynthesis strains, as you may already know autos need the maximum light to show their full potentiel, however in my opinion a dark phase is always beneficial, recovery/vertical growth/terpenes&trichomes production happen at night, so I'd recommend to try the 20/4 light schedule. Also, on another topic, your plant seem to suffer from a Magnesium deficiency (yellowing between the veins) so you may need to add some Cal/Mag to your next feedings, from my experience the GG from FastBuds is a voracious Magnesium eater! Hope this will help, keep us up-to-date and happy growing 👊

Day 73. She is really taking her time. There's a very strong citrus smell left on my fingers after touching a bud, like a really good IPA. How long will she go? I'm thinking another week but I think I've said that before lol. Trichomes are still mostly clear with the ones on the cola being the only ones that are really starting to change. Very sticky.

you don't want to be starting the flush yet for another week maybe even two weeks of full feeding. Trykes take two weeks to ripen

I recommend waiting until you start seeing small bud sites starting to develop. They should look like small cotton balls. Once you see that, go ahead and switch your lights to flowering. She’s beautiful so far. Good luck!👍

Keep an eye on that feline. Some of them like the aroma's just as much as you and they might start licking it and rubbing themselves on it.

JFWVTcommented6 years ago
@goarilla, yeah, the plant is usually in a tent in a closed room. Just took it out for a few pics. She definitely loves the aroma lol.

The Plant ends her Life circle, its normal that leaves discolour and get brown spots, all energy is in the Buds now.And now comes another Growerskill.. Patience,,,,,,i feel you iam not the patient person at all.... but its worth. let her stand as long as your nerves get it^^ the Buds maturate and get their final potency. You can give her carbs... any sugarsirup/ blackstrap molasses. they love it and the buds taste very nice when you smoke 1 tablespoon to 2-3 liters of water. You have done up to here an awsome job.Congratulation

JFWVTcommented6 years ago
@Mrs_Larimar,thanks for the link. I was feeding her flower fuel up until I decided to go with just straight water a few days ago. Not really sure how much time she has until harvest so I didn't want to go back to adding more. Live and learn I guess.
