Excited to try these. I’ve only grown one of these before and it produced a lot of stress seeds, so am thinking of this as an experiment—these are four of those seeds. All four popped vigorously in 24 hours and I’ve put them into peat plugs. Seedlings appeared after another 24 hours.
All four plants have popped up quickly in the propagator. They’re in peat plugs, which I feel a bit bad about—I’ll do coco next time. I soaked the plugs in dechlorinated water with some Root Juice and Biosys.
The seedlings have gone into their pots—well, I forgot I only had three 5L, so one is in a 2L until more arrive. They’re a bit stretchy but otherwise seem happy.
Back home this week to plenty of veg growth. Fimmed the two larger plants to try to let the little ones catch up. Confident that we will have flowering next week. The runt still looks a little sad but it’s growing!
Plenty of growth this week and even the two smaller plants have caught up (well, sort of). Flowering will start next week. The two bigger ones seem happy with their FIM. The weather still sucks here but it’s getting warmer.
Thanks for stopping by!
Pleased to see flowering start this week. Everyone seems happy though I think I fimmed one too hard. Definitely a range of growth across these four plants but overall am happy.
The weather has warmed up a bit this week, thankfully - I don’t think the plants care, but I was really tired of being cold and wet in August. A slow start to flowering but plenty of vegetative growth. No problems so far!
Well! Still loads of vertical growth and very slow start to flowering. Lovely lush foliage. I can’t quite believe the size of these considering the pot volume. 88cm from a 2L pot? Weird. Anyway, no problems or anything. Debated flipping the light schedule to see if that would help with the slow flowering but figured I’d just be patient.

I’ve decided to change the light schedule in the hopes it prompts the plants to put some energy into flowering. They aren’t really making progress, though they are growing vertically loads. They seem very happy though. I did a big defoliation (most pictures taken before) since I’m a bit worried about mold. We’ll see how it goes!
Well, we finally have real flowering! Buds are finally appearing. Still some vertical growth - can’t believe the size of these plants relative to pot size. All happy despite the heat wave.

A brief update from the plant sitter. Getting huge and still happy!
Mid week update: a little more vertical growth but we are at the end of the stretch. Loads of bud growth. Finally!
Oh man! Super happy to come home to so much growth. There’s still vertical growth but loads of bud mass. Trichromes are all over. Going to defoliate and try to get the RH down a bit.

Man these plants are huge. Going to tie them up this week. Loads of bud growth. Some nutrient deficiencies appearing, so have added some cal mag. Not exactly unexpected because of the slightly irregular watering and feeding. Defoliated as well.
Thanks for stopping by!
Another week closer. Buds are fattening and pistils are starting to turn orange and brown. I really need to tie the main colas up—they now can’t really stand up without support.
Hope you all are hanging in there. Solidarity with striking Kaiser workers in the US and workers everywhere💪❤️
Starting to get closer. Pistils higher up on the plant are turning orange. Still plenty of growth to go, especially further down the plants. Can’t wait to harvest!
Edit: not sure why this is showing as a veg week - can’t seem to fix it!
Started flushing this week - they’re taking their time to finish but I really need the space in the tent. Autumnal color appearing in the tent. Otherwise not much to say - they’re growing and slowing. Thanks for stopping by!
Entering our last week! Still room for growth but I’ve got to move on and make room in the tent. Some cloudy trichromes but mainly clear still and plenty of white calyxes. Oh well! Some lovely autumnal color as well. Photos aren’t uploading so will come back with more.
Thanks for stopping by.
This was a slow grow for sure and I eventually ran out of time and space. When I grow these again I think I’d stick with two pots instead of four - they really needed more light. I think I’d also probably defoliate heavier. Other than that these were a breeze to grow. Barely any nute issues, not that I was playing super close attention. Will for sure grow these again soon.
I did give a wet 30-40g to a friend and so haven’t included that in the dry total. Figure it’d be about 14g dry, but happy with the harvest anyway.
