First time growing auto in coco. I haven’t had much luck with autos but I’m trying to get better. I am not doing any training. Just going to let it grow.
Babies are doing very well. Of course first couple of weeks are the slowest and not much to look at but i hope that they prove me wrong. Their stems are a little brittle still so I’m going to have to add some more air.
They are starting out kind of slow to me and the leaves look a little brittle. I will be transferring them to their own ten this coming up with better ventilation. I believe I am having high temp issues. Other than that, I don’t see any nutrient issues.
They’re growing pretty well so far! No signs of nute burns nor deficits. They both look quite healthy. I plucked out few fan leaves that were blocking the lights a lot. Didn’t see any shock from it. But check the size differences..?
These girls are smoking crack; they won’t stop growing. They’re both beginning to show pistils but very minimum; still focusing on stretch. Their solar panels show sativa phenotype. No issues. They are in their own designated 20x36inch tent with a viparspectra LED 125W true watts.
🙄 uhh I think they’re done stretching.... They grow so long. Im hoping they will focus on budding soon. Honestly, I don’t even expect any more than an oz per plant and I’d be happy with that.
They’re still growing, I just don’t understand. I see more pistils and bud sites but they grew more than 10 cm and to the point where I had to supercrop the taller plant. I am growing with a 128W Led, I can’t even imagine what a stronger light can do to them. Also brought the ppm down to 700 range.
Nice week nice week. I did some training with them which includes supercropping the smaller plant (left) because it was reaching the height of the tent (2x3x5 ft). So now they’re both super cropped and I lollipopped both of them and interestingly, I don’t think I’ve stunned them (fingers crossed 🤞!). Thanks for watching!
Epic change this week. I had to move them to a 4x4x7 grow tent with a 550W viparspectra led because they wouldn’t fit in the 2x3x5 tent anymore. They were touching the light even after two rounds of supercropping, I feel like it actually pissed them off and made them grow more. Unfortunately they are sharing with my sticky zkittlez strain which is in flowering at12/12. AT THIS point, I just want to them to be done and over with. I don’t think I’d want to grow this particular strain ever again. If I do, i need to scrog the heck out of it.
They are coming along very nicely. This strain is a straight savage. She did not care that I’ve supercropped them, defoliated them constantly and lollipop on top of that. Again, I’d be happy if I even yield about 30g per plant. But I am hopeful.
They’re almost done.... I was on a vacation for a few days and so when I came back, they were very droopy.. so I gave them some fresh water with nutes. I think they will be done soon. Lights back on to 18/6
Thanks every one for following with me on this long-ass journal. These girls took too long to vegetate and flower, it’s almost same as my photoperiods. But I advise that growers should LST or lst and scrog this strain to the extreme. They are so tough and resistant. I’ve honestly not smoked it yet but I am excited because the very first grow of this strain, I never got them I smoke it. I’ve learned so much from them, especially knowing that some autos can be lollipopped and supercropped multiple times. - as long as they are healthy that is.
Remember, I grew 3/5 of their cycle with a 120W viparspectra and then ended up going to 500W viparspectra in 4x4 sharing with 3 other plants at 12/12, due to flowering (didn’t have a choice because my original grow tent turned out too short for them).
Thanks every one once again. 👌🤞
Hi!
Can i ask why you lower down the hours to 12 at the moment?
I think with auto the best is to stick to the same from begin.
Either go for a "soft" 18h daily up to a 24h constant.
24h will require a lot more care and attention.
The first to have the best price/bud the second for both the highest yield and power consumption
Have nice smokes ;)
@OneDude, I’m okay with that... Hopefully they’ll forgive me. But the good news is I have 3 Gorilla zkittlez (from cream of the crop) that’s coming down within a week that My wife and I will be enjoying 🤩
@OneDude, for sure mate. I was getting concerned about that too but I took it as an experiment... honestly this is the best auto grow I’ve done so far. These girls show no remorse. And this is my 4th auto grow...
hi man! good luck rest of the way. Interesting how plant 2 catched plant1 in size if i see it right.i have also 2 GC in going journal and one is also a lot smaller in 3th week I hope she will catch her sister:)
@Floran, thanks for the comment man, and you’re correct. The second plant just shot up and then evened out with the taller one... but to remind you, I had to supercrop the taller one because it was touching the light
