Hello and welcome to the Hawaiian Snow Diary! This time around we will be running two long flowering sativas, one being the Hawaiian Snow from GHSC and the other being a Purple Pakistani Haze from ACE Seeds.
I'm a big fan of Greenhouse Seed Company. The Super Lemon Haze is my all time favorite cultivar, with my recently grown Lemon Orange fighting for the top spot! I've heard wonderful things about the Hawaiian Snow, and as a big fan of Sativas I needed to get my hands on some seeds. I'm very excited to grow her and see what she does!
These kinds of plants are supposedly a different beast altogether. They flower for 12+ weeks and their stretch lasts for eternity, easily outgrowing your tent if you let them. Heavy training is mandatory. I will be low stress training, topping, scrogging, you name it to keep the height down.
This is my first time growing a plant like this and I am very excited.
Started germination on 6/20 with the glass of water/paper towel method and had issues. The first seed was very slow to sprout, and her taproot was very short. She made it into the soil, but never fully sprouted. Started germination on another seed a few days after the first and had to baby her to get her to sprout right.
Put her in a 50/50 mix of light warrior and happy frog with some worm castings and she sprouted on 6/29.
