the ideal is to measure the ph and especially the ec of the inflow and outflow from the flower pot. according to what you can find out how much nutrients they consumed. I always feed 1/1...

So, u don't need a mister. Waste of money but tat money towards a dehumidifier which will be needed much more, as ur crop expands it will give off vapour (LVPD comes in) and ur tent/room will be like the amazon. If ur in a tent. You can easily control RH with a wet towel hanging from the bar or using your exhaust fan on a timer. 5on-15off or whatever holds the highest RH for you. Once you are above 65-75 for veg bring it down in pre flower to 60 if u can and getting it down to as low as 35 in fat/ripening..I don't do this, I can but it cost way too much money. And for the lil extra resin and benefits don't outweigh the cost of running my 300w dehumidifier. So, I barely ever run it unless I have to. Ppl in thr likes of cali grow in high RH they have great ventilation. You just gotta rep tat indoors. So getting rh up is easy. Keeping it down will be ur issue when u get to it. But if its high just super ventilation and fans blowing in/over/thru ur canopy.

Check my same strain diary. Its PH swings and too much water intake. You need to level your PH out more to suit your substrate. Your plant will push through with growth. Mine was 10x worse. Good luck

Phontone is a really good Mobile App to read PAR. Alot of people are using it and theres a few channels ive seen use it compared to an actual 600$ meter and it was hanging right around what the expensive meter was reading so it works quite well.

I think it's time to put them into bloom. Your plants have recovered because the leaves are no longer very dark green. I advise that you put them into bloom because they will stretch a bit more at first and you wouldn't want them to have grown more because then you will have light distance issues. Good luck with the rest of your grow and enjoy the yield

So I have a question:i read that the humidity should be low during flower On the other hand i read, you need to keep the vpd in check I'm suffering from a heat wave Cause of the high temperature i need a higher humidity for vpd What is more important vpd or low humidity?

VPD is calculated from temp and RH ... higher humidity will reduce VPD, all other factors remaining the same. higher temps will increase VPD, all other factors remaining the same. you want a certain range of VPD based upon stage of life cycle the plant is in... low vpd for seedlings and clones, for example, then full-bore with mature plants with much higher VPD. VPD will very strongly correlate to how much the plant 'drinks.' The rate of water intake can impact the concentration of fertilizer you want to feed... if elevated, you need a lower concentration. just think of the amount of mass of nutrients that are beign taken in. faster rate of higher concentraion means higher mas of nutrients... the plant can only use so many grams of N or Ca et al per day. I would shoot for an intended VPD while staing between 40-60% RH. Avoid > 30c. this is not a hard line in the sand.. some are perfectly fine at 32C with no signs of heat stress. Tht doesn't necessarily mean it is "perfect" but at the very least the issue is so small it's hard to discern. None of this stuff will polish a turd. bad genetics will always be bad genetics -- from the point of view of entire plant or a more narrow assessment of a specific trait. how much does an optimal VPD impact results vs slightly off? i doubt it's huge, given a common sense range of VPD. i think the biggest thing is, if you don't tightly control this stuff, it's useful to preemptively react to it. E.G. - vpd is sky high, you should probably dial down concentration of fertilizer. avoid the tox symptoms that would develop over days or weeks... hopefully these sorts of things are slow moving... that means your formula and perceptions of how to fertilize is decent.

If your ordering predatory mites to kill em just give the plant a quick wash in soap and water and rinse them off well. The soak will kill off some of the adults and when their kids hatch the mites can help control them. The soap will not leave any long lasting effects on the plant that will harm the mites. It does look like thrip damage in some of the pictures, but the first pic is weird, it looks like is taken from the underside of the leaf and thrips almost always stay on top of the leaves. but if you confirmed they are thrips then just try and kill off any many before the mites arrive and don't use anything that has lasting effects on the plants so it won't harm the predators. Good Luck!

Little goofy tip about temperature - Let your fan blow INTO the humidifer cloud if you have a humidifier. It'll lower temperatures by 3-4°C for whatever reason, like a tiny AC. I noticed this because for random reasons my tents temperature was sometimes at 23°C which was perfect, but sometimes randomly at 19°C. I then noticed that those temps always appeared when my humidifier started up to raise humidity. So simply - Humidifier on blast, fan behind it that blows the cloud around, and let the exhaust fan suck it all away too, to stay at good humidity.
