RQS Royal Runtz #2

TheeLemon Attempted a kind of mainline technique again, this time the plants have really responded to it, and have exploded with new growth after every watering. Last time i tried mainlining i stunted the growth badly (See "RQS Blue Cheese Fem" diary). I have never seen a plant respond so well to watering though, its amazing, i notice new growth within hours of watering, every time so far!

TheeLemon Plants taking to the technique very well imo. Particularly the back right one, which has created a almost perfect dome shape. I did miss a watering and they didn't like that atall. As I usually wait for the soil to be dry before I water again, so if I miss a watering, they get extremely dry. All the leaves dropped down completely vertical, I thought it was all over, but they bounced straight back with the next watering. 🙌 The plant has now been topped twice, once to creat the initial + shape, and again to split each stem of the + into 2. So each plant now has 8 main stems.

TheeLemon Repot them into 20L airpots today. Noticed some slight yellowing on the leaves, so I may have given abit too much nutrients. I'll let them recover for the next week before I add more nutrients or do any topping

TheeLemon Topped again, probably for the final time. Just going to LST the new growth from here on.

TheeLemon Started flowering on 1st September. Had a nice long veg, and hopefully get some nice nugs from it! As you can see in one of the pics, I accidentally split one of the main stems a few weeks ago, by going abit too rough with the LST. But it seems to have bounced back fine!

TheeLemon Everythings gone nicely this week. Had a big burst of growth, had to raise the lights higher than what would normally be their maximum! Probably do a little defoliation over the next week.

TheeLemon Big boost in the size of the colas! Only a few weeks in and they're looking a great size! I've bought a net, because I think I'm gonna need one!

TheeLemon Seen some huge growth in bud size this week! Ordering some new nutrients for the last few weeks. This is gonna be my best one yet, I'm sure of that!

TheeLemon Noticed the back right plant has developed really purple leaves, must be a phenotype as they're all the same strain grown from seed. Buds are starting to fatten up now, getting very excited. Bought a load of new nutrients too boost it along these final weeks.

TheeLemon Home stretch now. Going by the last time I grew this strain, theres about 2 or 3 weeks left till harvest. Buds are fattening up, absolutely sticky as anything and stink the place up too!

TheeLemon These ladies are looking beautiful! They're very hard, gonna be some good density to them I think! And they're getting extremely funky! I've noticed most of the trics are starting to go milky, so I gave it's last dose of nutrients a few days ago. Just gonna be pH'd water and AN Flawless Finish from here on out. I'm so excited for this one. It's shaping up to be my best grow yet! Previously I've always had an issue somewhere down the line, but this time it's been smooth sailing all the way. So they've really had a chance to show me what they can do!

TheeLemon Huge yeild, 1600g wet. I'm not sure what the final dry yeild will be, but maybe somewhere between 10-18 Oz. Smells very strong, completely stunk my house out. I'll add a smoke report and dry weight and such once it's all finished.
