SHOGUN Samurai Coco A 2.4 ml/l
SHOGUN Samurai Coco B 2.4 ml/l
SHOGUN CalMag 0.7 ml/l
SHOGUN Katana Roots 0.2ml/l
SHOGUN Geisha Foliar 1 ml/l
What to say. She's not the biggest and started flowering. Still its bigger than any of my 1st auto strain. I will start give her flower nutrients from day 29-30.
At day 31 she had first flower supplement's.
Overall I'm happy she's bigger than previous strain. Training going well. Still learning how to do so small plant.
I hope Forbidden Runtz will flourish in coco/perlite mix.
She start to have some deficiency even i boosted nutrients on this strain 2x. ..she's been too dry few days before leafs started yellowing(No time to water them 😞) after getting some water she raised up but yellow.
Seams like sometimes foliar application give a issue with brown spots. Same as you would leave droplet of nutieted water on leaf. From other hand a day after a picture was taken colours look way better, but some new burned spots shown up. All done just before night time. (Max 1min. of exposure to light.)
That give me a lot of mixed signals...
Overall in last week she's was littlebit under feed with too long dry period. Spraying more under leaf is way to go but plant is way too small for that.
Still I think I will be able to fix it on her...also this is a stage when they should start changing coulour.
I started 10 days ago run of runtz in coco/perlite. See if plant will be any bigger in diffeent medium. At momemnt i have 3 Runtz, 4 and 7 galon pebbles/coco and 4 galon coco/perlite. Propobly i will add one more in perlite to keep balance in statistics.
Can't get a lot if genetics are poor...let's test that out!
Adjusting stakes every so often. At Day 50 She had major defoliation. Pistons started turning brown and top is very thick for that small plant. Looking cute tho.
Today she had defoliation with accident of cutting one of side buds. As for some people she may be ready so is not big loss. I will have some pre harvest test next week. :)
New nutrients will be applied from day 59.
She's been great so far, allready had first flush. Not long dor 🔪. I may keep one of her sister's for 70+ day's as buds are way more dense and frosty than on my 1st autoflower strain. That one definitely liked 1-2weeks more than anticipated.
She had some issues. Like my other first plants she grow very small. One of her sister its even smaller than that.
Buds growing very frosty and loud. Not large like i expect from that XXL.
Not so intesne smell compare to Speed from Sweet Seeds. Still got more fruity notes than above which is very sweet in smell.
Maybe not give enough smell but strength its superb. Taste is way different no comparison. More skunk'y, with some exotic notes.
She definitely need week or 2 longer. At least 70 days for proper ripping buds. I will add weight of all 3 plants over here. One is done in perlite/coco wonder if going to be above 1/4oz. 😂
1st 6.65g (65 days)
Loud frosty and dense buds. Like fruity/sweet notes and omg after taste is ridiculous. Even tobacco can't kill it. No complain here, if she didn't came out so small definitely i would give 9-10 stars. Technically it is all what you wants, if taste notes fitting you. This is the way!
Only minus for me high is not purely Indica. Still i wouldn't recommend smoking it in morrning.
I have another plant 2 weeks to finish and couple more seeds. I will definitely run rest of them, wishing to have comparison to Fast Buds one.
One of plants when I did absolutely no training to her. Still she preformed better than 1st one from diary. By quality weight and strength.
About grow? Not a lot to say. Half way I changed feeding for one used in White Widow. She definitely responded better than WW but stayed in about half of her size. No discoloration on leafs. Last plant ever in coco/pebbles. Maybe one day again with some self watering system.
On this plant particularly I did test EC for autos and madman method and harvest tests.
-partial harvest
-ice in last flush water
-grove bag vs. jar
-drying whole plant vs. Partially trimmed in winter/autumn weather.
Outcome was as follow:
-Partial harvest its OK when you not LST your plant and have Christmas tree growth. Giving additional week for lower buds brining them to same quality as top cola.
-Ice in pot. In winter it's useless and not recommend in winter time. Specially if you live in high humidity area. It fucked my White Widow a lot.
-Groove bags keeps humidity slightly better i didt 25% air in bag same to jar to keep results as close is possible. Jar bud was more crisp but looser too compare to Groove Bags. I did 3.5g for 2 weeks after 12 days of drying.
-like i mention humidity in drying proces. Whole plant is too humid for my environment allready in October. Best is to separate from stem and cut bigger non sugar, sugar leafs.
7.65g dry weight after cure
82 days 16.10.23
2nd Plant (No training)
Tasty, middle range strong. Definitely like to be kept Week or two longer. Hitting strong sweet and fruity notes when grind up. More of weedy taste with hints and aftertaste of sweet&fruits.
Moved to carbord box After 7 days drying without most of stems and leafs, i have put on side few smaller buds for testing material
Little bonsai tree. Topped with late LST still on old feed which was causing them growing so small. Still Im pretty sure could take out way more from shogun. Still got some seeds so definitely i will comeback to Grower's Choice genetic's. Maybe more organical. She had 2 weeks flush few days before harvest notice begining of bud rot in main cola. When plant is so small. Topping make shit worse. My air circulation isnt best ethier so had to cut out little bit. Still she was first plant in coco/perlite and being nearly 2x bigger than her sisters.
Day 92 18.11.23
11.76g coco/perlite
@@justsomedude420, Does Organic Tests are for dial 3 diffrent medium's to use one feeding with BioTabs. Technically it's dry 😂
Shogun and Organicus its just kinda show case for me synthetics vs organics. With twist of using most 1-2 nutrients for Organic grow. Peace ✌️
@@justsomedude420, I have some too but fem GG#4 from Zamnesia also auto ver same strain 😅 im kinda too invested in to new methods. Learning a lot more than i even wanted. 😅
For example most of bottled organics are bs 🤣
@Loran11144, My problem was Shogun is quite potent and doesn't have feed for autos . Nether article from Fast Buds which did most of known brands and publish ther feed. I still didn't dialed in. Some people had way better results but had plant with proper feed from begining. My White Widow had 2 flushes because of same issue. I have one more Forbidden Runtz which is propobly biggest but nothing special. This plant is done in coco/perlite. To check how bad my feeding was... coco/pebbles second very bad choice from me. (Ph fluctuations, to bad drainage, to hard for autos) and then overwatering. I did stop doing it "on eye".
So my problem was too much instead of laziness. I know it can be done with minimum effort. Just im not looking for finished method done by someone else.
@Atalant, i think so too. When you give it too much it gets lazy af . Gets too comfortable. I am facing same problem now - nutrient burn. Now i will give only a tiny drop of nutrients once a week to it
