4x PURPLE CAPER SEEDS AUTO LEMON DURBAN BREAD (LEMON SKUNK X DURBAN BREAD) While Vegging the following photos 2x PURPLE CAPER SEEDS ED ROSENTHAL SUPER CHOCOLATE (ERSB X CHOCOLATE HASHBERRY) 1x Femme Fatale - Twenty20 1x Free Diesel seed from NASC, guessing white label. Goal - Harvest the autos in time, then flip the photos. Probably clone the chocolate out for a 3rd run.

This is the week I burnt them a little, watered 2x in a row this week with nutrients. Should have spaced it with a regular water. The paper cups i was using held onto the nutrient salts like Ph paper itself, could see salt buildup at the base. Roots didn't wanna go all around the paper cups because of this. Wont use paper cups again.

Had nutrient burn, too much nitrogen. Cut back right away to just using 5.8 ph'd tap and Recharge Powder. They bounced back, first time growing... they weren't joking about the nutrient dose labels being excessive. I used 1/4 dose and still burned.

FIMed and transplant, haven't given nutrients besides Recharge in almost 2 weeks. Was trying to flush excess nutes from using dumb bio-biodegradable cups. Wont be using those again. Nutrient Salt sponge. Back on 1/4 nutes soon in the new pots, didn't wanna burn them again, they need it.. not nearly as green as before. Lemon Durban Bread Autos already showing pistils. going into week 4

Transplanted photos in half gallon and autos in 5 gallon buckets Recovering from nutrient burn in week 2-3 and defoliating damaged leaves, hopefully get that tuned in. Basically stunted my grow by 1-1.5 weeks I think. All good though, I learn best from hands on mistakes. Autos are showing pistils starting into week 4 to my surprise, quite fast - Lemon Durban Bread supposed to be 85-100 flower time from sprout. Holding off on Bloom nutrient for awhile

Learning quite a bit this first run, especially with the autos in there, and having sativa and indica photos in the half gallons right now. Indicas are super dense with the nodes, going to be a pain to trim, the sativa seem easier to train and get in to see whats going on. Future work that's more homogeneous with single strain grows should be nicer later on. This 1st grow is a full on learning experience

Full nutrients, transplanted photos from half gallons to 5 gallons. Got some new runoff trays also Runoff is pretty low 5.5ph. The autos are smelling a bit now, and causing me some skin allergies. Will have to use sleeves soon.

Defoliated the autos and photos a few times now, have one midget auto that is short stacked and dense Using different nutrient as listed for my autos. Less Grow, more Bloom. The diesel in my photo tent is blowing up, i might dedicate the 4x4 for that single plant eventually. Struggling with to low ph runoff 5.5-5.8, but sometimes as low as 5.3. Need to amend my soilless grow with dolomite/lime next time or add some to future watering, my plants are missing a bit of calcium and magnesium with low root zone PH .

69/70 day from germ. Recovering from a flush to get the root zone PH back up from being down at 5.2-5.5 After a flush i brought it up to 5.8-6.1 on the plants, next grow i will be amending with at least a little bit of dolomite lime to counter the late game acidity in the root zone Trained the hell out of my photos the last day, cracked some stems the day before and taped them up, they seem to be doing fine even though it happened after the harsh flush. Autos are 20-30 days from being done according to the descriptions in the Lemon Durban Breads. Oct 10-24th Looking good also All of my stuff looks like it has deficiency from before the flush and during the days i let it dry. did half dose nutrients today, so hopefully they bounce back. They were lacking cal, and iron im pretty sure - We have iron filtered out and had to low of root zone PH to absorb calmag and iron. Tolerating my abuses well

Amazon messed up my order and my needed nutrients are going to be late, so im rationing what i have left right now. Have a High CFM kit in the works, losing a lot of space with my exhaust sucking in my tent walls Will get pictures of my Lemon Durban Bread Autos in the next journal for harvest, hopefully.. they should be done very soon.

Been getting some type of nutrient burn or lockout in flower that I cant figure out. it happened with my autos also. I just cant figure out if its lockout, overdose, or deficiency. It showed up after giving the Diesel a full dose of flowering nutrients. Runoff has been normal.

If you are pushing the Grow. All components Mist be right. Means medium got to be airy ( soilmix with Coco/ vermiculite or only Coco. Thinner EC Numbers and more waterings Zechnically watering daily with ec of ,1200 or lower. Look for bruce bugbee He explains it.

Will update this journal this weekend and into next weekend for the (LDB)Lemon Durban Bread harvests For now, a couple pictures of the LDB up close, lots of amber trichs, ready to harvest.... Burnt my diesel a bit but stopped it with a flush, I think i know what i was doing wrong by having to much "Grow" Nutrients during the flowering stage, plus lockout from not buffering/amending my coir at the start of the grow. Will always go with less before more now, rather have a deficiency than anything related to lockout or excess, flushes are never fun unless their for a good reason.

Toned back my nutrients after learning my taps ppm is 500, with an ex of 1000/1.0, so i was overloading it with too much nutrients and causing high EC Been watering with substantial runoff as to not encounter issues with buildup, doing nearly 40-50% runoff. each big flowering plant gets its own 4 gallon bucket every 2 days right now, and i get almost 2 gallons back per plant in run off. Keeping my runoff EC within 300 points of my input, my numbers were way out of line before and I wasn't getting enough runoff to wash away the old stuff. Things should go smoother knowing this now Hopefully i can get a better source of water in the future with a carbon filter or Osmosis to get my EC of my tap down to a level i can use more nutrients without driving up the EC. 10-29-2023 103 days since putting seed to tray, a little over 14 weeks. Tap water source is 480-500ppm, 1.0/1000ec out the tap Giving nutrients to the flowering plants at 1.9-2.1ec. Plan on hooking my RO systems output line back up, its not in use and id like to dilute 50/50 to add more base nutrients instead of the nonsense in my tap water thats taking up EC/ppm overhead.

Steady as she goes, just riding out until harvest. Did a late defoliation on day 34/35 on the femme fatales and chocolates, it really needed it Hopefully the buds swell up more, right now theyre popcorn but its early, just worried about the hairs browning fast, although it is a fast flowering strain of 45-50 days Also adjusted my nutrients, the GH bottle kind of lies to a person telling them to pump Nitrogen in flower with the micro bottle having 5%, so i cut that and focused on bloom nutrients,

Ohhh wee... snoop dogg quit smoking, or something.. now we all have to compensate. Got reverse osmosis hooked up, only have a 3 gallon tank right now, and looking into a 20 gallon around black friday sales. Mixing 50/50 with my 1.0ec tap to bring it down. Giving as many nutrients as I was before with 0.6 less ec. watering with 1.4-1.5ec solution Made some edibles with larf from the lemon durban bread harvest, which wasnt great really, but we'll see how the cure goes. Ill get pics of that at some point. Made brownies and a double batch of gummies. Cant wait to harvest this 4x4 with the big plants 1-2 weeks im guessing. The super chocolates indeed have a chocolate parfum to them kind of like the old chocolate Axe body spray but less obnoxious and more nuanced. The femme fatales i didnt know what to expect but have that nice earthy coffee and kush smell, or like a durban poison... The diesel smells great too with some pine and skunk mixed in with some kind of fermenting fruit and gas.

Getting close to finish on the Ed Rosenthal Super Chocolate, 45-55 day fast flower, I'm on day 55 ... Another week on the 4x4 tent i think, maybe two at most.. still some white hairs maturing. Will post more pictures into the week after my next watering. Kind of a weird photo quality glitch on here. If you open the pictures in a new window and remove "_big" from the url you can view them in full resolution https://bucket.growdiaries.com/static/post/photo/163513/7628014_grow-journal-by-drypt_big.jpg Full res links look like this https://bucket.growdiaries.com/static/post/photo/163513/7628014_grow-journal-by-drypt.jpg Not sure why in some of my journals it opens to a full view, while other picture entries get downsized to 1700px width and have the _big attached to the url. I tried uploading smaller pics and it still resized and kind of ruined the quality. If you open other peoples journal entry photos it sometimes has full res and other times downsized versions.

About a week to go I think. Very ready to get this 4x4 clears and cleaned out for the next round. Reorganized my grow ares, less cramped now. The Lemon durban breads I have in grove bags are smelling great especially ground up, the taste is catching up. Maybe another 2 weeks on that cure at least.

Few days left, might chop 3 of of the 4 plants on sunday, hopefully the 4th (femme fatale) shows more amber by then Watering with ph water the last 2 waterings, down to less than 0.2ec/200ppm on the runoff. my diesel has looked like shit for awhile, turned out to be an auto and needed to be in different conditions. Despite it being in shitty condition it still drinks the most water and has the most mass on the plant. 12-19-23 ---chopping diesel and the smaller super chocolate plant, freezing a small batch of part of each of these for fresh frozen bubble hash
