I went with Topping twice on the main branches about a week ago and now both new heads about a day ago.
Melon-kun reacted pretty well to it and is branching out nicely.
It's sitting in a tent with Vesuvio F1 Italian Chilies, first sign of flowers are showing, all female as expected :)
Added some CalMag to the nutrients this week, about 0.3ml in 2L Water for deficit prevention.
I observed some sloppy leaves, and will add half a day wait between every watering, I might have fed it too much last week when I realized that it managed to drink up to 1.5L in 24 hours.
This week Melon is holding up even if it doesn't look in a perfect state. A lot of the leaves still are still floppy. I made sure that I don't overwater the plant so the other possibility is too much Nitrogen. This week I removed BioGrow from the menu which should help bringing the N down in the soil.
I went and also flushed the plant with dest. (ph=7)
I hope it will come back nice and healty.
Flowers are in full bloom now, I adapted the nutrients to bloom and Top max. I removed a bunch of clutter leaves and the day after it showed a more healthy appearance.
Wow buddy!! super nice buds
What an amazing grow so far - good job and well done 🤝
Happy Growing & cant wait for your upcoming weeks 🌱
Cheers, Bud Boutique 👩🌾
Hi, I hope you will answer a couple of questions. :)
Do you feed your light soil every watering?
How much water did you give in flower every how many days?
Congratulations for your job! :)
@Bathc, For this plant I went with BioBizz All Mix - a pre fertilized soil mix. Which usually covers most of the needs during veg phase.
Yes I do feed with every watering, it happens that I add less or skip a specific nutrient depending on the signs the plants gives me.(Nitrogen burns). The only time I don't add nutrients is when switching from veg to flower, I flush a week to neutralize the soil a bit and during the Finishing Flush of course. :)
I hope this helps you a bit, but just a disclaimer I just started growing this year so I'm no PRO ;)
