I popped a Green Crack bean from Humboldt Seed Organization into a small container of Purified water on a heat mat. I will plant her in 16 OZ Solo Cup with Pro Mix Seedling Starter Organic Blend and keep her in there for a couple weeks. I will then transplant her to a 3.4 gallon Airpot with a 65/35 Mix of Coco Coir and Perlite and feed her via an automatic fertigation system every 6 hours or so. I plan to try and run either 4 or 5 Mainlines in the 5X5 under a Medic Grow Spectrum X 880 Watt Led with supplemental UV/IR lighting. I am planning to have the mainlines built by week 7 and then flip to flower as I already think it is going to be tight to run that many mainlines in a 5X5. After several years of growing, I believe this is the best time of year to start a run as the weather is warm and humid for seedlings and veg, and then the temp and humidity drops rapidly by flower. It absolutely sucks to be flowering in high heat and humidity when I need multiple full size dehumidifiers running constantly to control the humidity, each of which puts out more heat, and also have the lights cranked up to 100%.
This is my first ever run with Humboldt Seed Organization but I am a huge fan of Green Crack and really Sativas in general. . This will be my second run with the Medic Grow Spectrum X Led and I was super impressed with the first run. Very good yield and great coverage for a 5X5.
Thanks for stopping by, Stay Safe and Blaze On!!! πͺ
