Transplant time! Got this girl into a five gallon container with added mycos and bacteria. My custom mix is coco and perlite with added amendments, worm Castings and purple cow soil. I add dolomite lime on top and mix it in. They got a small watering. Was another good week of growth. After getting transplanted, the girl got topped. She took a few days to fully recover. Girls got their first foliar spray! I've never done this before but got the equipment and bioinsecticide and moved forward. Really gotta prevent those damn mites and aphids. Not messing around anymore. This girl is getting flipped to flower now and I'll train as she grows to maximize the tent space. I don't want her growing out of the tent on this one. Was this girls first week in flower! I don't want her growing out of this tent space so I flipped her early. In the meantime, I've been low stress training her outwards to fill up the tent. I've tried those before but they kinda stunt for me. Watering every other day right now. And I know, I've gotta defoliate her. I'll do that when I lollipop mid week. An exciting week again training this girl. Was spacing her out throughout the week using the low stress ties. As you can tell did a lot of defoliation and some minor lollipopping. Getting rid of the lower growth that'll be larf. Watering every day right now. Added the AC Infinity self watering device to this girl. Because of that and how much she stretched, I'm a little close to my lights. I've spaced out the clips as far as I can to raise it up but I'm just outta room. It shouldn't negatively effect the plants with this much space but still not ideal. If I run into any issues I'll turn the lights down to 80%. This girl is officially on auto pilot! Which is always exciting to get to this point and all is well. So I predict we'll have a smooth next few weeks until we finish. She should finish in 7 weeks so I'll be monitoring the trichomes starting next week. A great week overall. Self watering pots are doing great. Keeping things moist without having to water all the time. Buds are really swelling up at this point and starting to change colors. Here we are. At the end of week 7. This cultivar is scheduled for 45 days but at day 49 I can confidently say she is not ready yet. Thinking another week and she should be ready. All is looking good and these girls buds are super fat! Especially for Humboldt. The smell isn't as intense as I'd like but still there. A sweet smell. Still defoliating as I can and as needed.
