I don’t smoke until after a half decent cure time, but these buds have me tempted. I’ve only grown two cultivars from In-house genetics and the Slurricane #7 was a mixed bag. Nice plant, grew well, possibly the Frostiest I’ve grown but the yield was poor for the size of the plant and had excessive sugar leaves, which looked pretty but better for making hash. The bud itself was nice smoke but after a proper cure (several months) it was truly AMAZING! So in fairness, overall good choice and I only popped one seed so these qualities, with good bud structure and it would be truly formidable. That’s kinda what we have here in the platinum jelly. Buds are better in structure, very frosty and with a really loud smell of sharp grape, jelly sweets and a hint of funk. I LOVE the smell of this weed and hope it translates into the flavour in the smoke because it’s truly amazing!!!! Happier with the yield.

Smoke review
This smell of this is that grape candy & even sharp lime and grapefruit. A friend said he finds it quite piney and I get that too, it’s uplifting almost like olibanum(frankincense) such a loud and intoxicating aroma but does that translate to the taste…
YES!!!! I’m pleasantly surprised to tell you that smoking platinum jelly is like eating a very fruity jelly sweet or something. I’m amazed by it. I’m all honesty it’s rare that flavours from the smell come across so dominantly in the taste of the smoke but this does.
Clearly a powerful stone too, I felt quite uplifted by it rather than stuck to the couch but there you go.
