Sour Diesel Auto

No nutes until week 3…Topping both at day 12. Will start LST when ready.

First plant topped at day 12. Second will be topped this Friday at day 12. She is much farther behind than the first plant but I have found from my other grow that slow and steady plants produce more!

Week 3! First plant is growing like crazy so I did a little experiment and topped the previously topped sites for a second time, and yes I know topping isn't good for auto's but she was growing vigorously so I believe she can handle it...time will tell. 2nd plant is severely stunted from the first topping at day 12, so I left her alone and will let her catch up. She clearly has some sort of deficiency IDK what yet but Im not worried..early stages of veg I'm sure she will grow out of it. First line up of nutrients, a little cal mag, full recommended dose of 3 teaspoons big bloom for seedlings and a 1/2 teaspoon of grow big.

Started more in depth LST this week..my stunted plant is still catching up so I simply placed two staples loosely to give it some direction. As for my stronger plant she’s growing massive by each day. She was topped twice and by accident one side I snapped by accident because I pushed the staple too far..oops! I tied some hemp all around the base and hopefully it will heal in the next week or two..it hasn’t affected the growth so I think it will be okay!

1. Growing like crazy everyday an inch or two of growth..getting light green in areas so flowering will begin soon. 2. Slowly but surely catching up about half inch growth on all the stems..she’s eager to grow upwards like a christmas tree but trying to lightly LST her to the sides of her pot. I was complaining so much to myself about the stunted growth on the sour diesel but my two gorilla cookies seedlings are so stunted right off the bat I want to 🤬..I’ll start their diary when I see more healthy growth.

Pre flower stage has begun...Really happy with my first sour...she is doing great with LST and amazing growth on the daily. Second sour is still catching up but growth is much slower....hoping she catches up in the next 3 weeks but not really sure why she's still stunted...My first sour I have really high hopes for...the canopy is stretching beyond the pot size and thats a great sign to indicate a bountiful harvest :P

My first Sour may be my biggest plant to date! I see big yields in my future :P Second sour has a mind of its own so I'm just doing the mildest form of LST and letting it grow upwards as it doesn't have the will to stretch to the sides. I added a new nutrient Open Sesame which stops the stretch anyhow...just 1/2 teaspoon per plant. Added that and instantly saw growth at the bud sites and an increase of pistils! I did research on when to add this and it looks like I should've done it a week early but I did it at week 7. I got some beastie bloom headed my way too so that will be the next nutrient I use. I decided not to include the fox trio (bb, gb, tb) I refuse to burn another plant haha! Since I'm still learning when introducing new nutrients I will add them as their own and not include it with my OG nutes. I don't think autos need a line up of nutes anyways. No more LST...beastie bloomz 1/2 teaspoon and maybe 1 teaspoon each next week....don't see a big difference yet...happy with the growth so far! My biggest plant is finally stretching up towards the light..soon I’ll be able to lollipop her and focus on the top canopy!

Last week of beastie bloom. More LST required to make sure all areas get even lighting...#1 a little heavier LST while #2 is growing short and stocky so just pulled down some bud sites that were blocking others. Loving the growth...#1 is more frosty but #2 has thicker colas coming in. We'll see if that changes when Cha Ching is added next week!

#1 is so frosty..starting to see a slight swell in the buds..lots of baby colas in the center not sure if they will get much bigger. Good mix of some Clear lots of Milky and a few Amber trichomes. #2 has thicker buds but not frosty...resin slowly coming in but not nearly as much as #1..Mix of more clear some milky few amber. I will be flushing this week. And lastly my sweet boy passed unexpectedly on thursday…just wanted to share my beautiful guy, Jax as silly as that is…I just want people to see him...Hold your furbabies close for me!

2 weeks left!!! Flushed with water a few days ago..can’t wait to see that leaf fade! #1 trichomes are popping off..lots of milky and amber..my frostiest plant to date! #2 trichomes increasing but not nearly close to #1

78 grams roughly 2.8 oz! Pretty happy with that as I’m looking for quality and potency and no longer quantity and quickness. She has a good amount of frost and super pungent stank radiating off her. Unfortunately for me I had issues with drying and at one point a few hours of 70% humidity which led to a few areas of mold…I threw away those buds and the rest are top notch..probably my most resinous plant harvested so far and strongest smelling. I also grew a runt which will give me less than an ounce now I know it’s just best to call quits on those stumpy odd growing plants and start fresh. Lastly my humidity stayed at 52-56% and I should’ve harvested 1-2 days earlier so the buds are much drier/crispier than I’d like. I’m still trying to find a good drying location..one room had that low humidity and my grow room had way too high at 70..will figure it out eventually. Also 200watt for lighting I can’t go back and change it.
