Soaked the seeds overnight then placed into soil. Only 1 of 3 germinated 😟. I don't think it's my technique since I got 5 for 5 on the Gelato. I've had these seeds for about a year now and been kept in a dark cool place with no moisture. Hopefully this one survives.
I started Gelato from MSNL and Acid from Paradise Seeds. Feel free to check out my other diaries. Check back next week for an update.
Good progress with regular tap water. This week we added Real Growers Recharge to the feed. Feeding is 2 times per week and will be transplanting within the next couple of weeks. Then top and LST training begins.
Not much to report this week. Next week should get a little bit more action. Looks like we should be able to transfer them in their final 5 gal. fabric pot and start the adding nutrients to the feed. Once transferred they'll be topped and LST will commence.
Wonder woman going slow and steady. She should respond well with added nutrients.
Transplant to 1 gallon fabric pot. Not sure if this one will end up in a 3 gallon pot. Fox Farms Big Bloom and Real Growers Recharge in the feed. Lower growth has been removed to promote more growth up top. Sometime this week, she'll be toped.
Added Fox Farms Grow Big to the feed. I didn't top the Wonder Woman this week, not even sure if I will. Growth is not super fast but overall health is very good. The only thing I really did this week is feed and light defoliation as you can see in the last picture.
Since I'm just letting this once grow out, not to much to report this week. I wish I had more time to veg this once out more but it looks like switching to 12's will happen in a couple of weeks. My Gelatos are my main grow and they will dictate when flowering begins.
Switched to bloom this week and changed feed. Ended up topping the lady since she was getting a little too tall for my style. No defoliation yet since it's getting pretty good light penetration.
Entering the 2nd week of flowering - Last week I did a pre flowering defoliation and plants responded real well. She has a really nice structure (no LST needed) and easy to pick which fan leaves go pluck.
Pistils are shooting out all over the place😮. I don't expect a big yield from her but I hope she smokes good.
Just had to do some plucking of bigger fan leaves throughout the week but not much. This strain does't really get bushy and allows good light penetration to lower bud sites. All I did was top her the last week of veg. I really admire the structure of this Wonder Woman.
Seems like she is done with her flowering stretch. Should be on cruise control for now until harvest. No more defoliation, just feed, and flush in a few weeks.
Another week has gone by, another week closer to harvest. Buds are stacking up and resin production is on point. Flowers have this sweet aroma to them. These plants are getting real thirsty, watering about every 3 days. Alternating ph'd water and nutrients to prevent any burns. Older fan leaves are starting to fade... it's almost that time 😉
This Wonder Woman has always been on the lighter shade of green compared to my other strains growing. At week 3 of flowering, older leaves started to get lighter and lighter to the point of being yellow with reddish stems. Is this some sort of deficiency or just fade? This week I just gave her Ph's water just to flush her out.
Not too worried about correcting the deficiency on her. She's just too far into flower to start messing with it. Trichomes are all milky with some amber... I'll start flushing now and should chop her down in a couple of weeks. Smells really sweet like an overripe apple.
Germinating 1 seed was a success. Growing her was going well up until week 3 of flower. Thats when she started turing yellow and never recovered. I have a couple more seeds and will definitely run these in the future.
Everything was going well up until week 3 of flowering. She just started turning yellow which seemed to be a nitrogen deficiency. I had a few other strains getting the same feed but this one didn't like it.
I love the structure of the plant. Topped her once and let her go. Didn't need LST since light penetration was great.
I will have to grow this strain again to give it a fair review. Wet weight including branches 126g. Final numbers will be updated once dried 😉 I'll be happy if I get a solid ounce from this 1 gallon plant.
Update: 20 grams of selected buds from this plant is not too bad. Smaller larfy stuff got thrown in the trim pile for future concentrate run.
Love the arm and node structuring in this plant 😍
Those leaves look like they are just naturally fading from age. If those are new growth leaves then I would look for solutions, but as long as those came from the bottom half of the plant then your good to go!
Well you could be nitrogen deficiency if you were already feeding is very low nitrogen before flowering it could be D were already close to a deficiency now that you're feeding a boom mix obviously there's almost no nitrogen so they will start to be deficient much quicker than usual you would usually want to start to have this yellowing a little further down the line and flowering but maybe you can give them just a bit of nitro to make sure you make it to be in properly
@Tonino, Thanks for the feedback! After this weeks update she'll be 7 weeks into flower. I'll bump up the N in my next feed and see if that helps. Next week I'll probably start flushing.
@Short_N_stockY, Thanks for the tip! BTW, LSD-25 is my gf-s new favorite strain. We had a bag of that purple-sweet-tasty weed on our last trip to europe. Enjoy doing your thing! ✊
@IDOSWED, Looking forward to it. Thanks!
btw, I saw your fastbuds diary. You should join the giveaway if you haven't done so already. I just started an LSD-25 grow and joined. 😉
