I don't normally grow or even take clones but I took just one cut from my zoap#39(active diary) and it rooted. I let her get established in a solo cup and have now transplanted her to her intermediate 4l pot. I'm going to see how the mother grows and remember through diary entries with the hope of doing even better with her. I already know now to grow her bigger as she didn't stretch that much. So far she has been issue free so this one will be too. This is growing in Coco whereas her mother is in DWC.

Start of a new week and she is doing ok. I have bent her over to start the lst. I've topped her today. I have a long time to veg her so it's experiment time and educate myself more with the later effects from early actions in veg. EVERY DAY IS A SCHOOL DAY

This clone of zoap #39 is doing ok. I have no immediate plan to flower her as space is limited. I have purposely kept her short by keeping her far away from the light, in a small pot, with a weak feed and multiple toppings. I may use her as a mother but it will be interesting come flower time

I kinda forgot about this diary. Tbh all have been neglected slightly. This clone of zoap#39 is just in week 6. The mother had really small buds and I suspected my base nutrients which I was trying for the first time was to blame. This clone has been given a known (to me) producer in Advanced nutrients. So far the buds are looking to be a lot bigger but there is still 3-4 weeks left. Day 41 ===== She is looking very well. Stacking up nicely with some lovely smelling buds. This week I have changed feed a bit. I was gonna run overdrive but I'm giving her 1.2ec of base and sweet grape with 1ml/l of bud XL. I am then adding 2ml/l of top shooter. This will continue til the end of week seven. I probably will switch to final part for week 8 with week 9 for a flush. I took the mother of this clone down at eight weeks and feel another week would benefit

In week 7 now and I'm going to reduce nutes a bit before swapping out the base and top shooter for Terra Aquatica Final Part/Ripen in week 8. I'm planning on 63 days but trichomes are milky with some amber, although this is the top buds, some lower down still have many white pistils. Day 49. I have started final part now at 1.2ec reducing by 0.2 a day. So : Day 50- 1.0 Day 51- 0.8 Day 52- 0.6 Day 53-0.4 Day 54 0.2 then for 3-4 days just water. The trichomes are about 10% clear and 10% amber. I'm hoping I've no clear and I'm going for more amber than normal this time at about 25% . After using the top shooter for a week I did notice new white pistils on top of ripe orange ones so it definitely will increase yield but at what I consider a cost of foxtails. They will not necessarily turn into foxtails this time but I didn't want to risk it. I do feel that a strong indica with tight buds may not succumb to them as much as a sativa. But what do I know

Not smoked yet and may not. It's drying but I had to take her down prematurely at 49 days due to bud rot. The buds are big, tightly packed and firm. This being the main cause. I did get the answer to my question of was my base to blame for small buds on the mum of this clone and using a different base on this one tells me my suspicions were correct. Lessons learned: don't fix what isn't broken You get what you pay for

Easy. Big chunky buds, which should be a good thing. That big and chunky that humidity and airflow must be kept in check
