nonick123 A new life begins! Well, two... :-D
First of all, thanks to @James and Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring this diary.
I got in touch with @James after the poor performance of my Orion F1 planted in April, and they were immediately willing to offer new seeds to launch a new diary. Great customer service!
Now, let's get to the point, which is what you're all interested in LOL
General setup:
2 seeds planted directly in substrate in 11-liter pots.
The first 2 weeks indoors with a 50W QB Led at 250 PPFD to promote initial root system growth.
In the 1st week, I help maintain the humidity around the seedling with a dome made from half a plastic bottle.
After 2 weeks or when the first two pairs of true leaves appear, they will be taken outside.
The substrate consists of 30% recycled substrate from recently harvested auto crops because it shows a brutal microbial life, and the following setup:
Light Mix Type Substrate = 43%, Worm Humus 15%, Bokashi 20%, Perlite 7%, Coco 15%, Diatomaceous Earth 1 g/L, Bone Meal 1 g/L, Bat Guano 1 g/L, and Azomite 2 g/L.
The seeds are planted on 31/07.

A combination of genetic lines derived from Sugar Magnolia and American Beauty, the result is an autoflowering F1 variety.
Its thick, frosty buds consistently produce high levels of THC and CBG, as well as large concentrations of myrcene, ocimene, farnesene, and caryophyllene.
They usually reach a maximum height of 80-85cm and have a quick flowering time of only 42-45 days (72 days from germination to harvest).

nonick123 Brutal heat week here (heatwave) and the seedlings are at 36 ยบC.
I have no way to cool the seedling area. Let's see how they handle it!
On 15/08 (Day 12), M1 is shyly showing its first 5-finger leaves, and M2 is showing its first 5-finger leaves splendidly.
When M2 (the latest one) reaches 15 days since it sprouted, I'll take them outside.

nonick123 On 08/18 (Day 15), the two Medusas go outside at 5:00 PM (they have two hours of direct sunlight left).
We have temperatures around 35 ยฐC during the peak hours of the day, so let's see how they handle it.
The top few centimeters of the substrate are renewed because it's very dry, and mulch made of hay is applied.
Even though the pots are still heavy, I water with 500 ml of settled water + Molasses 1 ml/l + Hummus Tea 15 ml/l to help them transition outside.
On 08/21 (Day 18), my f*cking daughter has decided to put the awning we have on the terrace completely extended from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and it has created a greenhouse effect on my terrace, with an ambient temperature of 35 ยฐC and no ventilation all day...
The plants show signs of thermal stress, with wrinkled leaves and burnt tips...
Between this and how small they are for 18 days, I think I'm going to have dwarf plants again...
The F1 from RQS doesn't handle high temperatures well...

nonick123 On 30/08 (Day 27) Iโm back after 6 days away on vacation, M2 has died (RIP)
The conditions were too extreme for her
M1 has survived, but itโs a dwarf plant (I understand) due to thermal stress

nonick123 M1 has started flowering as a dwarf plant.
The conditions have NOT been optimal due to the heatwave we experienced in August in eastern Spain.
On 06/09 (Day 34), it was watered with 500 ml of rested H2O + 1 ml/l of Molasses + 10 ml/l of Hummus Tea + 20 ml/l of Bokashi Tea + 5 ml/l of Humate PK + 10 ml/l of Guanato + 10 ml/l of LFFM pH 6.5 - EC 1.35

nonick123 This week the plant has had a little stretch but obviously itโs still tiny
It will yield a few grams when dry
That said, the smell is amazing! Makes you want to grow it in more controlled conditions ๐

nonick123 For how small it is, it's producing some good flowers with a very intense smell. It reminds me of the old school Indicas. I like this genetic.
My mistake for germinating it at such high temperatures!

We harvested this rocky and smelly little monster ๐๐จ๐
Wet weight = 9.37 grams
Next week is harvest week with the dry weight and the start of the curing process!
Thanks to everyone for reading and following me!

nonick123 Day 84 (10/26)
The drying of the plant has been completed.
Wet weight: 9.37 grams
Dry weight: 2.17 grams (76.84% water loss)
The aromas at the end of the drying process are very similar to the flowering stage, like old-school Indica, very potent, intense, with strong spicy notes (like pepper) and intense fuel notes.
The buds are hard as rocks after curing, despite the low final weight collected.
In a month, the smoke review ๐จ๐
A highly recommended strain! ๐
Thanks again to @James and Royal Queen Seeds for sending me these seeds and sponsoring this diary!
I'm sure I'll grow them again in the future to unlock their full potential!
Thanks also to all the growmies, growers, invisible friends (who read me and donโt say anything publicly, but do in private) and visible friends who comment and like every week, because for me one of the greatest pleasures (on par with tasting) is sharing this entire growth process with the community.
Thanks and see you in the new diaries! ๐
@MiyaguiOkPolilla, thanks for stopping by
It has gotten small due to the environmental conditions in the first weeks, but the smell that the flowering gives off now is brutal
Like an old-school Indica with a very earthy background and a spicy hint of black pepper ๐คค
I want to put it back to develop its full potential ๐ช
๐@nonick123, cannabis plants can handle a lot.. as long as it is stable so she does not get stressed and weak..but in your care she will be very relaxed i am sure ๐
