Starting off my next grow with a well known name, Gorilla Glue #4 from Greenpoint. This is the beginning of a two part hunt I'm going to do with this one. First part is 4 seeds and selecting a winner and then part two is putting the winning clone against the remaining 3 seeds I have to have the final winner. I would have liked to do all at once but I just don't have the space currently to grow them all equally and give each a fair shot. Germination was just under 4 days in a 1% hydrogen peroxide solution soaked paper towel. These guys went into some solo cups for now until the tent is ready for my new living soil bed I'm going to be setting up.

Day 1 - 7 of veg
First week of veg for this grow. Starting off, I put 4 solo cups with BuildASoil light recipe for each. Then I put a bit of Dynomyco in the hole of each with the seed to get some initial inoculation. I also watered with Rootwise and Quillaja extract to get good soaking and mycorrhizal inoculation. The sprouted up pretty quick and are doing pretty well so far.

Day 8 - 14 of veg
This week they are going good. Two plants are going nice and strong while one is lagging behind and another is a little messed up. For some reason the stem is very curly and I had to try and prop it up to try and correct it. I may end up killing it off but for now I'm going to just leave it.

Day 15 - 21 of veg
This week was transplant week. They got upgraded from their solo cups to some 1 gallon nursery pots for now until I get their bed set up later next week. I also culled the runt. Leaves were very deformed and stem wasn't correcting at all so I pulled the plug. I may run an auto along side these guys though next week but I haven't decided for sure yet. They also got a decent feeding with their transplant and got assigned a number to keep track of how they grow.

Finally got these girls in the tent and topped this week. Didn't have enough soil to fill it for now but should be plenty for the first try with a tent. Probably only going to veg them out for another week or maybe 2 so I can get this hunt going a little quicker.

They really are liking the bed and are starting to explode with growth, except 3 which is still pretty runtty. We will probably go one more week and then flip to flower.

Day 36 - 42 of veg
Last week of veg until I flip. I turned the lights down to 16 hours and upped the ppfd to 600. On #3 I cut off the main top as it was very deformed compared to the rest of the plant so I figured the rest will do better without that top.

First week of flower, I also fertilized at the end of the week. So far they are stretching a decent bit. I also started bending them down with the net to help keep it kinda even but they grow pretty differently so I don't think it's gunna work great.

Day 8 - 15
Sad week, all 3 hermed really bad. I'm sure this has to be genetics related. Tent was perfect and no light leaks, I even checked before killing to make sure it wasn't me but it was pitch black in there. Super upsetting though because I was really excited with how my #2 was growing, fastest growing plant I've ever had. One day I'll try again with my last 3 seeds but I'm going to take a break growing Greenpoint stuff for a little bit and work with some other breeders I have in my collection. As of 11/12, this grow is officially terminated.
