Sejanus21 Both plants are growing slowly but surely. During the day, the plants are outside; we have a lot of sun around 20°C and a light breeze. I give about 0.4l of water per day. In the evenings from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM, the plants go into the greenhouse under a Spider Farmer 1000; unfortunately, it gets down to 11°C by 11:00 PM and the humidity rises to over 90%. From 11:00 PM to 9:00 AM, the plants are in the basement under a 15W full-spectrum LED at 23°C (from 11:00 PM to 2:00 AM and again from 7:00 AM). Since yesterday (Thursday), the plants have been in the greenhouse (during the day, the temperature is now back between 20° and 23° with heavy cloud cover, humidity is around 78%, and at night the temperature drops to about 15°C to 10°C with 90% humidity. There are two fans in the greenhouse. On Friday, I gave the plants about 0.2l of water each (every three days). Starting Sunday, I set the Spider Farmer to 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM and 6:30 AM to 9:00 AM. I am satisfied with the growth over the past few days.

Sejanus21 The plants have been outside in the greenhouse for a few days now. The temperatures fluctuate between 9°C and 25.6°C, averaging 16.7°C; the humidity is between 52% and 94%, averaging 81.4%. Besides the daylight, I turn on the Spider Farmer SF 1000 between 06:30 and 09:00 and between 18:00 and 23:00. I water every three days, about 0.3l per plant. I don't add any nutrients since I'm using Plagron Royalmix as soil. The Orion F1 is growing visibly and quickly, amazing. The two-day older Royal CBDV is lagging behind, but it is growing too. I'm afraid it will stay small when it transitions to flowering soon. We'll see, this is my first grow, and so far I'm satisfied. Update on Sunday: Orion keeps growing, 3 cm in three days! I'm starting LST now (see photos); am I doing this right? Thanks for the tips. Already after six hours, the plant has adapted to the LST!! Update on Wednesday: We had a few warm days during the day. Orion is growing sensationally, Royal CBDV only very slowly; but it is getting bushier, maybe that's due to the indica genetics.

Yep, you can tie branches down and allow it to grow up vertically again. Or when it does turn vertical tie it back down to continue to bushyness. I've seen people use clothes hanger wooden things. Clip on to the end of branch causing it to bend and just the weight holds it down but allows it to grow vertically while staying bent down making it a nice open canopy. TopShelfStealth is the grower he is on the website. His Gorilla Cookies grow shows detailed photos in weeks 3-5. He gets like 9oz per plant indoors and grows 9 in a 4x4 every 10 weeks. Bro is doing something right. But yeah anyway to bend the branch over allowing side branches to catch up and become top colas themselves is the idea my friend. Please consider choosing me as the answer so I can be eligible for a chance to win grower of the month contest 🙏

Sejanus21 This week, I hung the SF 1000 lower in the greenhouse. It's set to 50% and is on from 06:30 to 09:00 and from 18:00 to 23:00. The Orion keeps growing; unfortunately, I noticed this morning that a snail has eaten the small lower leaves; it doesn't seem to seriously harm the plant. There's more snail bait in the greenhouse again. The Royal CBDV is hardly growing, but it looks healthy. I still can't see the start of the flowering phase. Hopefully, it takes a bit longer so that the two can grow a bit more first.

Sejanus21 The plants were in the basement. The temperature was pretty consistently at 21.5°C. The lighting from a cheap 15W LED ran 24 hours. We watered every three days with about 0.5 liters. The growth of the Orion F1 is still impressive. The first flowers are visible. Royal CBDV is growing slowly, looks healthy, and the first flower sites are also visible here.

Sejanus21 The plants are in the basement. Starting this week, I've set up a SanLight EVO 3-80 at 50% for lighting. The temperature averaged 21°C, and the humidity was at 67%. Orion F1 is growing insanely fast (65cm up from 44cm last week) and is developing a multitude of flowers. F1 hybrid power really makes a huge difference. Royal CBDV is only 31cm tall and is starting to develop its first flowers. Some leaves on the Orion are showing small silver spots; it doesn't look bad, but I'll write a separate question entry about it.

Those are thrips. Little nasty creatures that can ruin your grow. I know them all by their first names by now. Right now I have some too, and I'm fighting them with Purolyt. Good luck.

On my Royal CBDV, some leaves show dark stains and feel a little paperlike. Seems like some nutrition might be missing. I started with Plagron Bloom this week. What would you recommend?

Dark stains on cannabis leaves, along with a papery or crispy texture, can be indicative of several issues, including nutrient problems or other environmental stressors. Since you've recently started using Plagron Bloom, it's essential to ensure that your plant is getting the right nutrients and that environmental conditions are suitable for flowering. Here's what I recommend: Nutrient Deficiency or Imbalance: The dark stains and papery texture on the leaves might be a sign of nutrient issues. When transitioning to the flowering stage, cannabis plants typically require different nutrient ratios than during the vegetative stage. Plagron Bloom is designed for the flowering phase, so it should provide the necessary nutrients. However, ensure that you are following the manufacturer's instructions for dosage and application. pH Management: Check the pH of your nutrient solution and growing medium. Cannabis plants prefer a slightly acidic pH of around 6.0 to 6.5 during the flowering stage. A pH that is too high or too low can lead to nutrient uptake problems. Environmental Conditions: Ensure that the environmental conditions in your grow space are appropriate for the flowering stage. This includes maintaining the right temperature, humidity, and light levels. High temperatures, low humidity, or light stress can affect the health of the plant and lead to nutrient uptake issues. Watering and Drainage: Make sure you're providing adequate but not excessive water. Overwatering or poor drainage can lead to nutrient problems and affect leaf health. To address the issue: Double-check your nutrient solution and pH levels to ensure they are within the appropriate range for the flowering stage. Monitor the environmental conditions and make any necessary adjustments to maintain a stable and optimal growing environment. Continue to follow the recommended dosage and schedule for Plagron Bloom. Trim and remove any severely affected leaves to prevent further stress on the plant and to improve airflow around the canopy. Keep an eye out for any signs of pests or diseases, as they can also affect the overall health of your cannabis plant. It's important to be patient and monitor your plant's progress. Cannabis plants can recover and adapt if you provide the right care and address any issues promptly. If the problem persists or worsens, consider seeking advice from experienced cannabis growers or consulting with a local grow shop for more specific guidance.

Sejanus21 The plants are still in the basement. I'm ventilating longer so that the humidity drops; when the window is closed, I turn on a dehumidifier that keeps the room at 62% humidity. This week I started giving the plants Alga Bloom. Orion has grown a bit more (10cm), but is now focusing on developing a variety of buds; since the plant grows very airy, the light reaches everywhere, fantastic! I'm still excited about the F1 hybrid genetics, which clearly perform better than the other plants. Royal CBDV continues to grow bushy but has finally gained a bit more strength (up 14cm to 45cm). The flowering is slowly getting underway. Overall, the plant is developing much slower than indicated by RQS on the website.

Sejanus21 The week has brought great progress. The plants are getting water daily and 3-4ml of Plagron Alga Bloom per 1l of water. I set the SanLight to 60% on Friday. I lowered the humidity in the basement to an average of 54% by ventilating and using a dehumidifier. Two fans are running. Mold shouldn't be a problem. Orion F1 is a bud monster; intense; it looks like a big harvest for a first grow. Maybe I can harvest in two weeks. Royal CBDV has grown enormously (from 45cm to 60cm!); the flowering is starting. I still need to be patient for a few more weeks.

Sejanus21 This week, the buds have developed nicely. The plants are getting significantly thirstier. I'm watering about 1 liter daily with 4ml of Plagron Alga Bloom. Humidity and temperature in the heating cellar fluctuate between 48% and 55% and 19° to 21°C, respectively. I increased the Sanlight EVO 3-80 to 70% yesterday. There are a few small critters flying around the plants; I've set up a few new sticky traps; some I just catch by hand. No damage is visible on the plants. Royal CBDV is at least two weeks behind (growth from 60cm to 66cm). The trichomes of the Orion are slowly turning milky to my beginner's eyes; however, the leaves are still green. The important question now is: When should I harvest? This week, I'm definitely going to wait and see.

Sejanus21 This week, the buds have developed nicely. There's not much I need to do at the moment except wait. I'm still giving daily Plagron Alga Bloom. My sticky traps are catching a lot of little flies and thrips. The ladies don't mind; robust genetics! The trichomes of the Orion F1 are still mostly clear, so I will wait at least another week for the harvest. The Royal CBDV is still at least another week behind. The anticipation is rising. Since this is my first grow, I especially appreciate likes and comments!

Sejanus21 The buds of the Orion are getting denser and more colorful; a great sight. The trichomes are mostly milky. For the past few days, I've only been giving distilled water. I'll probably harvest at the end of the week; let's see how much patience I still have. The two-day-older Royal CBDV is a bit disappointing. The buds are small and airy, the leaves are paper-like. She's still getting Alga Bloom daily. According to the information on the RQS website, she should have been ready for harvest by now. I don't see that. However, I haven't seen any significant progress in the last few weeks. Still, I'll definitely wait another two weeks before harvesting.

Insanity, taste and quality when vaping are extraordinary. 0.05g in my Steel Pod capsule in the Wolkenkraft Äris Ultra is enough for a relaxed, uplifting high (starting at 185° up to 210°). The flavor is dominated by tropical fruits and is super soft and pleasant after 4 weeks of curing. I made various tinctures (alcohol, coconut oil) from the residue, which also have a nice effect two hours after consumption.

Sejanus21 This was my first grow and the Orion F1 was ideal for it. Aside from a few thrips that couldn't harm the plant and a snail attack with minimal damage, there were no problems. It was a bit more complicated because I initially had the plant partly outside and in the greenhouse. From mid-October, it was continuously in the basement, and I just had to give it water with Alga Bloom and watch it bloom. I harvested in three steps in the last week. 183g wet (130g buds and 53g sugar leaves) is more than a pleasing yield for a beginner like me. After drying, I still have 24g of buds; I didn't let the lowest ones dry (but processed them with the sugar leaves into a tincture), so it might have been 2-4g more.

Sejanus21 Overall, I'm not satisfied with the grow. The growth was normal, but unfortunately, the buds never got thick. I provided the plant with the same nutrients as the others in my grow, which all developed dense and thick buds. So, despite being a normally sized plant, it will only yield a mini harvest of flowers (26g wet); in the trim (72g wet), there are leaves and many small airy flowers. I will reassess my weak rating once I've tried the strain.

Pistils still look white on some pics... it's always hard to tell from photos but she looks like she needs a lot more time to mature, as you said maybe 2 weeks. Gawd knows though. Leaves look nice and green which is good, mine were super brown and dead by week 12.
