Very easy to grow and some really nice looking buds! Grew two of these and one of them was one of if not the most vigorous and rapidly growing plant I have ever grown. She exploded with growth all throughout the run and was packed full of nice fat colas. The other one was a nice plant as well but did not receive as much light as it could have so it didn't explode nearly as much as the other one but still a nice fat frosty top and some of the nicest looking buds in the room. Buds were thick and dense with good structure. The first plant I think dried too warm and low humidity by just a hair so the smell is pretty much gone. Smokes nice though! The 2nd plant was a lot better smell wise. A nice fruity/bubba smell to it but not super strong. The nugs are very frosty and coated with trichomes! 2nd plant had some purple mixed in the buds too. Overall was an easy plant to grow and was very fast growing as well. Have some seeds left over so will be doing this again eventually!

Well here we are! Harvest Day! Chopped the remaining plants yesterday. Both of the White Widows, the remaining Bubba Kush #1, and the Big Body Gelati by Covert Genetics are all drying in a closet that I got dialed in pretty well for drying. Took the controller and probe out of the grow room and got those hooked up along with the humidifier in the closet and it seems to be keeping things dialed in pretty well. Did not do this when drying the BK #2 which was ready a few weeks ago and while the hygrometer was reading between 60-65F for temp and 55-60% humidity I definitely feel like I could have done a better job keeping it closer to 60/60 and the smell of those dried buds I think suffered due to it. They don't smell bad just don't really have a smell at all. Usually the smell is that hay or close to hay like/plantlike taste/smell but that Bubba Kush #2 literally has a nonexistent smell which I suppose is better than hay but still disappointed it doesn't have that odor especially given it is Bubba Kush which usually has a distinct aroma to it. Keeping it cooler in there as well as having the controller regulating when the humidifier turns on should help a lot. It has been almost 24 hours since harvest and the humidity is wanting to jump up to between 65-70% which is too high so every few hours have to crack the closet door and exchange some air which I really don't want to do but need it less humid in there. As the plants dry out more, this should start gradually getting lower. Luckily the temp has not gone above 61.5F and has mostly been sitting around 59-60F which is perfect. Definitely a lot more moisture in there with 4 plants hanging versus the 1 from before when drying the BK #2 by itself. Unable to get a true wet weight so leaving that blank. The WW's and the BBG were heavy though and the BK #2 (harvested a few weeks ago) was by far the heaviest plant. 300g total dry weight so wet she was a few pounds. Will update more when drying is finished. Fingers crossed for a slow cool dry and that the humidity stays in check and we get some terpy, loud, fire buds!! Going to get the grow room cleaned and tidied up, the 2nd light installed, reamend the 30 gallons with some craft blend, Gnarly Barley, compost and EWC then plant some cover crop and start popping the next round of seeds!! Set up a worm bin and have some red wigglers on the way which should help a lot on the next run as well. Going all covert next round a few different strains so stay tuned!! Next run should be even more successful and less problems. This grow was for the most part super easy and problem free but can always improve!! Thanks again to anyone who checked out this diary, commented, liked, or followed. Really appreciate your input/support!! Really makes growing fun sharing it like this and this platform is the best way I have found to do that.

@BudBoutique, Same! Wasn't able to train them as much as I'd like due to being unexpectedly out of town quite a bit during this run so curious how theyll turn out as they are almost too tall at this point lol.

You clearly know what you're doing, but I've never seen black or grey mycelium. You sure that mass of "good mycelium" isn't dead, a fruiting body, or a mold? Myc doesn't really lift above the substrate until its trying to fruit, and we wouldn't call the fruiting body myc. Any chance at ID? Also, damn, we really are in sync. I grew NLA last, WW now. Happily Minnesota organic grow!

@JazzBerries, I haven't seen it like that either and it didn't even occur that it could have been something besides mycelium and possibly be a mold but you could be right. I was out of town for a week right after this last update and that little ball in the photo has disappeared and there is no sign of it anymore. Plants are thriving still and no signs of mold or anything bad spreading so that is relieving. It definitely was more in the mulch layer versus being in the soil when it was visible though. Going to keep monitoring but it has disappeared at least for now. If it returns or I start seeing the plant getting "sick" I will update more. Wow that is quite the coincidence lol! Thanks for the comment, and pointing out the mycelium/mold in the photo. Also happy growing to you as well! Will definitely follow along and wish you nothing but positive results to a fellow MN grower!
