This strain is incredible!! Easy to grow and stress resistant for the most part (although fortunately she didn't get much stress), very solid sturdy structure, vigorous growth, and good spacing and structure of buds. Cannot say enough about how fire this girl smells and looks! Very fuel/gas/diesel like smell that is very potent and strong! Some of the most gas smelling bud I have had. Very very frosty and extremely sticky and resin coated. Lots of orange hairs and trichomes! Would say consistency is pretty ideal with the nugs being pretty dense but not too dense where they are super hard. Smokes very smooth and the taste is very similar to the smell and quite flavorful. The high is really pleasant and relaxed but not the couch lock. I believe based on the lineage of the genetics that it is a more indica dominant hybrid although harvesting with 95% cloudy/milky and 5% amber versus letting it get a little more amber may have had an effect on that. Either way very good smoke and a great high. Could not recommend Big Body Gelati and Covert Genetics enough!! His gas/fuel strains are top notch if that is what you're after.

Harvest day for the Big Body Gelati is here! This girl had the most unique and pungent odor out of the bunch (between the Bubba Kush and White Widow both by Seedsman). Very fuel like with hints of fruitiness. Can't stress enough how strong and pleasant the odor off this girl is. The vast majority of the trichomes were cloudy/milky with a handful of amber ones so she probably could have went a little bit longer maybe but had to chop the others today and couldn't keep this girl going for another week and then introduce her into the drying room after the rest of the plants have already been in there for a week as it would mess up the moisture level in there so we cut her down with the rest of them. The fact that every single trichome I saw was at least cloudy/milky with a few amber and was good enough for me to be okay with chopping her. Got the drying room dialed in better this time with my AC Infinity controller, probe, and humidifier. Temp is consistently within 1 degree of 60F (no lower than 59 and no higher than 61.5) and humidity is fluctuating a little more as the room is full of plants and it wants to raise the moisture to around 65-68% so every few hours I pop the door open for 30 seconds to let some of that humidity out. Typically try to not let any of that air from the drying room out or introduce a bunch of new air but can't let them sit too much over 60% for too long before I get worried about bud rot. This should go down as she dries out but fingers crossed that the drying process is a slow, cool, and consistent humidity so we can really preserve those terps and that loud gas odor she has! Thanks for following along, commenting, interacting, following this journey! Appreciate all the love! Will update the smoke report after she's done drying but stay tuned for the next run which will be all Covert Genetics and starting soon!!

@BudBoutique, Same! Wasn't able to train them as much as I'd like due to being unexpectedly out of town quite a bit during this run so curious how theyll turn out as they are almost too tall at this point lol.

You clearly know what you're doing, but I've never seen black or grey mycelium. You sure that mass of "good mycelium" isn't dead, a fruiting body, or a mold? Myc doesn't really lift above the substrate until its trying to fruit, and we wouldn't call the fruiting body myc. Any chance at ID? Also, damn, we really are in sync. I grew NLA last, WW now. Happily Minnesota organic grow!

@JazzBerries, I haven't seen it like that either and it didn't even occur that it could have been something besides mycelium and possibly be a mold but you could be right. I was out of town for a week right after this last update and that little ball in the photo has disappeared and there is no sign of it anymore. Plants are thriving still and no signs of mold or anything bad spreading so that is relieving. It definitely was more in the mulch layer versus being in the soil when it was visible though. Going to keep monitoring but it has disappeared at least for now. If it returns or I start seeing the plant getting "sick" I will update more. Wow that is quite the coincidence lol! Thanks for the comment, and pointing out the mycelium/mold in the photo. Also happy growing to you as well! Will definitely follow along and wish you nothing but positive results to a fellow MN grower!
