Gorilla Cookies & Green Crack ️

Hix57 1 seed of Gorilla Cookies didn't germinate. For the rest, everything is going as it should. Starting the root development nutrients from Plagron. I need to avoid a proliferation of red spider mites present in the tent, on my new shoots. In 1 or 2 weeks, I plan to do a complete treatment in the tent.

Hix57 The plants started receiving 300 PPFD light during their first two weeks of growth. Starting on day 14, we transplanted them and increased the light intensity to 650 PPFD. They received generous watering to promote root development. Currently, the Green Crack strain shows more vitality than the Gorilla Cookies. We are considering using the LST (Low Stress Training) technique soon. We also took measures to combat spider mites by cleaning the pots and using alcohol in the grow tent. If that doesn't work, we will consider using chemicals before flowering. 🌱🌿🌞🕷️🕸️

Hix57 Everything is going well, except for a slight humidity of 50% for the cannabis plants. I transplanted the plants on day 14, and it seems they didn't suffer too much from the delay due to repotting. The Gorilla Cookies seems less robust than the Green Crack, which is thriving fully. I started using the Royal Sugar fertilizer from Plagron on day 21, and I'm now going to practice the LST technique. 🌱

Hix57 Hello everyone, I'm back to give you some news about my cannabis plants. Everything is going well for most of them, but the cookies are a bit behind compared to the Green Crack. Plant development: The Gorilla Cookies #2 started flowering too early and is very small. I think it's a victim of the strain's genetics. I had already encountered this problem with some Girl Scout Cookies. The Green Crack #3, on the other hand, is literally exploding. She's very comfortable and is the one I trust the most. I moved the lamp closer to 30 centimeters for a PPFD of about 900. Fertilization changes: I'm going to stop root development in a week to replace it with Green Sensation and Sugar Royal from Plagron. Conclusion: I'm happy with the progress of my plants, even though the cookies are a bit behind. I'll keep you updated on their evolution in the coming days. Hix57 It's going pretty well! On day 45, my Green Crack is entering flowering mode, a bit later than expected, but it has a solid structure. I spread its branches today to let in more light. As for my Gorilla Cookie, it remains small, but during the stretch of flowering, it's gaining a bit of volume. However, it seems a bit weak to me, even though it's generally doing well. The leaves are starting to yellow with some spots (see photo) probably due to overwatering and too many nutrients. To remedy this, I reduced the nutrient dose today. 🌿

Hix57 52 days already and everything is going well in the garden, even though we slightly overwatered and gave a bit too many nutrients, but we fixed that in time. We had a little surprise visit from red spiders, but we got rid of them in time, so no more worries on that front. The Gorilla Cookies remains small; it hasn't grown much during the flowering stage. On the other hand, the Green Crack keeps growing despite a slight slowdown. It seems like it will take about 13 weeks instead of the 10 originally planned to be ready for harvest. It's interesting to see the differences between the seed bank's expectations and the reality of the strains. I continue to water calmly and use very little fertilizer due to the flowering phase of each plant 🌱☘️

Hix57 The situation is evolving well so far, but I'm eagerly awaiting the start of my new session. Although I'm a bit disappointed with the size of my Gorilla Cookies and the slow growth of the Green Crack, which are supposed to finish at the same time theoretically, I wonder if there's a genetic issue. For the next session, I've decided to order directly from FastBud to ensure better seed quality. On day 57, I performed a general defoliation on the four plants. I'm maintaining a low dosage of nutrients, except for the PowerBuds, a biostimulant that I'm using. The Green Crack is starting to develop small purple leaves after the defoliation. As for the Gorilla, it has stopped growing and should reach maturity in the next two or three weeks, as expected. If you have any tips, I'm all ears 🙏🌱

Hix57 The adorable Gorilla Cookies, despite their small size, are happily thriving and will soon be harvested next week, making way for the exciting start of a new botanical adventure. The Banana Purple Punch and LSD25 strains will be next while the mischievous Green Crack finishes its long flowering. The Gorilla, true to its word from the seed bank, is finishing up as expected, punctual and dazzling. However, the Green Crack, being the little rascal it is, is taking a bit longer than anticipated. We're looking at around 12 weeks or more, with some growers sometimes tossing their harvest as it can really mess up their schedule. Hix57 I didn't encounter any problems, but I was disappointed that it stopped growing during the stretch.

Hix57 The Gorillas have been harvested and despite their small size, they are flavorful, have a pretty strong smell, and are quite sticky. The Green Crack is completely different, much more tropical in character. On the other hand, it takes its time and is much slower than the Gorilla for a similar official timeframe, 9 to 10 weeks. One of the Green Cracks has been harvested. It is purple and fruity in character. Happy harvesting everyone! 🌱🤞

Hix57 Too bad the strain takes as long as announced. After a very vigorous growth and pre-flowering, there was a significant slowdown leading to 10 weeks of very slow and not very generous flowering in my opinion. The plant smells like sweet tropical fruit 🍍 It's not 9/10 weeks but rather 12/14 weeks.
