Had to do 2 runs for germination because the first batch did go well (old seeds) Not all of them germinated at the same time and the bigger one have almost 5 days more that the smallest.... but at the end of veg this difference will be smaller =)

Fist of all thanks for the comments on the first week... I can't respond for now because I'm having trouble activating my account.... That green ring from before was a jenky automated watering because I had to leave for a week... More on that final product later on.... During this week they started showing some nitro deficiencies so I had to bump up the nuts a bit .. they liked it and once corrected I' planning to top them leaving the first 4 nodes... All good for now =)

Came back this week... during my leave they had the VPD a bit off (low humidity) and they stunned a little but once I got it fixed they recovered in about 24h. Once everything nice and healthy, I've top them to the 4th node. One of them I kind of FIMmed it and the others are just with a normal topping. Transplanted them to their final 20L/5gal pots once they started to recover from the topping (about 4 days)... They recovery well and happy so today I just started the LST and adjusted the light distance until I got about 650 ppft on top of the plants using the photone app (really nice free tool).. the light is about 60cm from the plants

So everything is going really nice. All of them are healthy besides a bit of stress humidity induced...since have been a lot of rainy days the dehumidifier fills up in less than a day so I just skipped to the bucket today. Trying to improve my VPD but i'm finding a bit hard to find an accurate intelligent humidity sensor (probably I'll have to build my own...). This week I kept doing some LST and leaf tucking and one of the OG Kush is really growing like a beast having almost twice the size of the others.. it will be really hard to keep it the same hight than the others, but we'll see what we can do about it... They are responding well to the LST and I'm planning 1 to 2 more weeks to flip to flower...

So they seem to be growing happy, had just a small light burn problem in 2 leaves but nothing major a little light readjustment won't fix.... They are starting to drink more and more each day and today I just did some defoliation and lolipoping so I flip them into flower during this week. This resulted in some clones from the branch I've removed but I'm not sure if I will be able to keep them because I only have the 4x4 for now.... Let's see how thing get sorted out... So I'm planing to give them 3 days to recover from this stress and plan to flip them into flower probably on Wednesday so it will be day 45ish I think....still in doubt if I reach the day 50 or not but that pheno from OG is really though to keep small ...can't imagine the stretch phase -.-

Hei guys. I live in a very humid zone and my lung room does not have many isolation from the elements... So I've been struggling trying to dial in my VPD... So for the ones that live in a humid environment how does your VPD varies/fluctuate during day and night periods??

You probably need a dehumidifier even if you run lights at night. The biggest factor when lights go out is the drop of temperature and potential condensation. i run a space heater during my dark cycle. I set it based on temperature and RH when lights are on and reference the resulting dewpoint. Around 27-30C and 50% give or take, you end up with a dewpoint that's in middle to upper 60s F. (sorry for mixing of imperial/metric.. my themometer in tent is C, but my space heater is F, so this is what i am familiar with off the top of my head) In vege phase, my room only gets to 24C but in flower i am 27-30C with lights at 100%. I set my space heater much lower during vege to save watts. Do not let it hit the dewpoint, even if only for a short period when lights go out, temps drop, and a dehum can't quite keep up with rising RH. Get a space heater and set it 1-2 degrees above dewpoint. may need some trial and error if you want to save as many watts as possible. i shoot for +2F from highest dewpoint i'll see. If you have a dehum, could just have the space heater on for first couple hours of darkness and make sure the dehum has enough time to lower RH properly. at that point, dewpoint is reduced to some value you'll likely never hit. so, lights go out, temps start to drop, but dehum has enough time to wrangle RH%. then, space heater can turn off and temp can drop further with no condensation occurring. many space heaters have a 2-4-8 hour timer setting then shut off. So, when my temps are high during lights on, i reference where the dewpoint is, and i keep it a couple degrees above that point. i am absent-minded, so resetting my space heater every single night isnt something i want to do, lol. i'll spend a few extra dollars to avoid it, because i will forget and i will get condensation and it;s a fucking disease vector from hell. many combinations of temps and rh equate to the same VPD. temperature still has it's own effect. 25-30c is a good target and then whatever RH% results in proper VPD is what you should try to maintain. warmer is better than colder -- given common sense. i.e. don't run at 35C no matter what the VPD is, lol. 1.3-1.5 vpd isn't going to ruin vege growth. Is it better at 1.1-1.2ish? probably. Is such a small variance a huge difference? probably not. Avoiding dewpoint and massive catastrophe that is white powdery mildew more than makes up for it.

Hey guys, so as planned middle week (wednesday) i've flipped the girls into flowers and noticed a bit of a bit burn... First it seemed a calcium deficiency but as it progressed i'm thinking more a potassium/phosforus overfert...giving some plain water until recover and staying vigilant to other problems.... Otherwise everything seems to be running smooth given the conditions...as you may noticed i'm dealing with temperature and humidity problems... For the temp i think my old duct fan is dying... Already ordered a kit from marshydro... The humidity as been challenging to Control... Began with faulty hygrometer, fixed that and as result my dehumidifyer is working 24/7 and cannot have a VPD Higher than 1.0.... mainly is staying at about 0.8.... the humidity outside has been a constant +90% and everyday the dehumidifyer is pulling almost 10l off water from the sir... So it is at capacity... Have to get a bigger one as soom as i can.... Thinking to get a big 4 in 1 (air condicioner, dehumidifyer, heater and ventilator) to fix the environmental issues... Thinking to purchase this One https://amzn.eu/d/iaGyb7L Anybody in similar conditions that can give me some opinion/feedback? Thanks to everyone that is followimg my progress.

Hi guys, so about 10 days as passed since the flip to flower... the girls are thriving =)... everything is stretching for light and bud sites are forming. This week didn't have any major problems besides the humidity control... this grow I'll have to deal with it. On the next one we'll see if I can get a better dehumidifier.. Just did some below of the canopy maintenance (deformation and lolipoping) one last time, I think. Now we just add water and food and we play the waiting game.....

One more week as passed (about day 18 in flower) and they are growing strong and tall... ones smaller than others but definitely all of them are putting some awesome flowers... I belive now all of them finished stretching (I hope). Just gor my new online vent from mars hydro with the digital controller.. great stuff.. a lot easier to stabilize climate... with that I'll assume that the hygrometer is trusted and just calibrated the my diy and realized that it was about 7% off on the humid side so I think we are good... Now its getting colder i'll have to out some kind off heating element soom.... Took a couple of leaves of each of them to improve lower bud exposure to light and did one last training on the big ogkush to improve light exposure and air flow...

Their are blooming amazing... meanwhile I'm fighting a mad calcium deficiency... it's my first time using rw/ro (only 15ppm)... so find this balance has not been easy during the whole grow... calmag as been a lifesaver... hope the flower won't suffer much... Everything else has been nice...the upgrade to a smart controlled intake fan helped a lot stabilizing the environment and I'm really happy with this investment... Its been a bit good on the clone box but they seem to be hanging in there... If they survive and be healthy i'll be using the top 2 phenos from this grow on the Next One...meanwhile trying to go into supersoil.... So a lot of changes and things to go wrong... Lol lets see.... And I'm hopping to have a lot to do during new years =P

Day 35ish of flowering and they are terping out very well... can notice some different bud development due too my lights being a bit small for the space....but nothing critical I think... major concern still is the calcium deficiency... I've been adding calmag to every watering but it is too bad to see any correction right now... I believe I'll starting flushijg/leaching in about 10 days..let's see how things go until then...

Another week as passed... on day 43ish of flowering (11/18) still fighting a bit some deficiencies and the Euphoria plant is really going to take longer to mature than the others...probably I have to harvest it a bit earlier because I think the other 3 will be ready on the same time..let's see... count down starts next week=) only giving water from mid week onwards...the smell from the tent is amazing a really complex but really sweet overall.

Happy holidays everyone! They are smelling amazing right now and I think in about a week (ideally on the 2nd) I think I'm going to take them down... I think the nutrient deficiencies are under control until the end... just adding pH ro water until harvest... still worried that Euphoria going to be harvested too soon but because of the smell I must harvest everything at the same time because I have to dry on my flowering tent...let's see how it goes... can be a opportunity to test a "too soon" harvest as well so I think I'm going to look at this as an experiment =)

So this is the Last week I'll be taking them down tomorrow or so...as expected the euforia is really early but it will be nice to compare... maybe I'll grow it again to see it's full potential... Everything else seems just amazing... big dense smelly resinous buds ready to harvest. The real work starts now lol.... I'll document each harvest and drying process to close the diary

Couldn't see the full potential of this strain because I had to cut it I think a couple of weeks earlier, I think she suffered from overwater on the stretching phase what delayed to total time, or she's just a pheno that finishes later.... overall very happy with it because I could compare a bit of what changes when you harvest earlier and is still a good smoke, very cerebral, euphoric and uplifting.

So there where 2 really different phens here.. one doubled the size of the other, and the smell and smoke are really different from one to the other, they seemed 2 different cultivars...but overall I think is my favorite cultivar of the season, the bigger one is really unique regarding smell and taste, it feels like what I can imagine being the real OG kush. Unfortunately I've successfully clone them all except my favorite one lol.. oh well I'll definitely try it again and will try a full 4 plants pheno hunt to see if I discover another...

In terms of bud structure and density denitetly I have to give a shout out to Euphoria by dutch passion. Really golf sized buds dense as they can be... the smell is pretty unique.. pretty skunks.. it tastes almost like something deep fried.. can't explain it well lol but this is the best description... it as a strong earthy smell and tastes like fried chicken lol.... it takes the second place of the season no doubt.
