Disclaimer: I fill my diaries on the go and update them during the week. So if you like to get all the information and pics of innocent plants getting the herbie101 treatment, always check back on the last week to get the FULL picture (of a grower trying hard not to kill his plants). Thank you, have a wonderful week and happy growing!
plans for this week: As we're still in the seedling stage, my main focus for this week is watering/feeding and doing preparations for the repotting at the end of this week. Of course while still focusing on doing whats best for the soilhealth to give the roots the best home i can.
preparation --> On wednesday or thursday, i'm gonna mix the new soil and prewater it. So that it'll be ready for the girls to move in their final homes by the weekend. I'll repot them in (80% Allmix/10% Worm humus/10%) perlite soil and i hope this'll provide them with enough N for most of the veg stage.
watering/feeding --> I fed the ladies on day 9 and yesterday with 0.2l of water and root juice. This week i'm gonna spray them less often and do a transition to a regular wet/dry period and slightly increase the water volume per watering. So i guess 0.3l for the first feeding and watch how long it takes to dry out. I will introduce bio heaven to the feeding routine for juicing up the soil and cut back on root juice from 4ml/l to 1ml/l.
Settingwise this week will be pretty much to the same as last week. There are three changes. 1. The abandoning of the domes, 2. the regular introduction of airflow via fan and 3. lightintensity goes up from 20 to 40%.
Day 14: Two full weeks guys! Time flies and the girls are growing fine (except you know who). Cap is in fantastic form and grows day by day. Biggest champ in the camp! Daisy hides in the middle of the pack, but shes also a hard worker. Cap is just overeager, so Daisy is perfectly balanced. And as it seems by now, we have to say good bye to John at the end of this week. She is not able to keep up with the pack and will be left behind or just stays in her minipot and we'll see if she will produce anything. Not sure yet. So there is another exciting week ahead! Let's gooo!
Day 15: So John did not like the brighter lights. I think after a long and fulfilled life, John said:"NOPE!" and left us. Farewell John, the warriors heart. May you rest in heavenly soil, your sisters are praying for your save travels...
I watered the remaining ladies with 0.2l nutrientwater. Cheers!
Day 16: The environment is stable with temps at 25Β° by day and 20Β° by night. Humidity at 55 - 70% and the lights still at 40%. Today i prepared the new beds for cap and daisy to chill out in. I mixed the soil and prewatered it (PH 6.4). So it should be ready on friday/saturday. The girls are working on their fourth node, so i guess timing would be quite good for repotting in two days. I can give them some time ro rest after transplanting before setting up the mainline when they are on six nodes.
Day 17: Cap and Daisy are doing fine. I let John sit in there, so they can say goodbye. So with it being thursday, it's time for the weekly weigh in to see how they did, the last week.
Our first contender, cute as always, is our beloved daisy! She is now 7.5cm in height and has an armspan of 13cm. So she gained 2.2cm in height and 6cm in diameter. She is now the tallest girl in the room. Heidi, its time to schedule a shooting for "herbies next topmodel"!
And on spot number two, we got the beefiest lady on the scene and of course it is captain falcon! She is now 7.1cm tall (5.5 last week) with a diameter of 18cm (8.5 last week). Cap skipped leg day, packed some roids and did a massive arm workout!
So i guess the ladies do fine. Two very different personalities, but i love to have that duo in the tent.
Day 18: Big moving day is here! I prepared their now beds and repottet them as carefully as possible. 12 hours before repotting, i gave them a little sip (0.3l) to remoisten the soil, so that it is nicely damp when i need to get them out of the pot. i prepared some holes and sprinkled some mycos on them and then put the ladies in. Thei had nice strong and healthy roots. Everything seems perfect.
Now i just let them chill for the next days and see how they like their new homes. Happy days!
Day 20: Today i had the urge to water them again, but they look happy and the new new soil is definitely moist enough in the lower half. So i leave them sit and dig for water. As the don't seem to be shocked by transplanting i just do nothing. Boy, for me doing nothing is the hardest part of growing.
Sunday recap: So here we are at the end of week 3 and up to now, things are going almost perfectly. The girls look healthy, they are growing strong and seem to have managed the transplanting exceptionally well. They did not receive any additional nitrogen and i hope the can tap in the new soil without problems. They are working on their fifth node now and when things go well, we can set up the mainline during the next week. I'm beyond nervous and excited fo this step!
I'm still unsure about watering habbits. But the ladies seem to like how i approached it, so we just go with the flow.
And my wife talked me into keeping John in the tent and see how he does. So John will follow along until she definitely dies.
@Herbie101, hallo schaue mal bei ACE SEEDS vorbei die haben sehr viele und schΓΆne old school Sativas aber auch neue Sorten und sehr gut beschrieben sogar Labor test bei manchen Sorten.
@@OimRausch, Echt? Klasse! Wieder was gelernt, Danke dir! Und ja klar: Original ist immer besserπ Aber ich bin sehr gespannt auf die Interpretation von den Rippersπ
@Herbie101,
Superstrains wΓ€r die Originale.. ich hat n Diary ΓΌber die gemacht.. tolles Zeug..Rippers Amnesia is auch super nice, aber die Originale ist besserπ
@HippyHemulen, I never tried dutch passions amnesia, but the fucke up short memory was real with the amsterdam amnesia i got over there. Such a fine smoke with a nice euphoria. Would be awesome if the ripper haze would scratch that itch. More of the stoney "what the fuck did i wanna do here"- moments. Lovin it π
I'm very curious about the sour ripper as well! I love the classic old school strains brought up to new life. I also wanna try barneys acapulco gold, but my growspace is just too tiny for all the things i want to grow! ππ
@Herbie101, Sour ripper is my watchlist cause im sour lover and ofc their classic Zombie kush need to be tested too. You tried Dutch passions Amnesia? Atleast they claim its original amnesia? Smoked many years ago some amnesia what was imported from Holland and that really fucked short memory like name says what i remember. π
happy growing, Herb!π
Keep spoiling themπ, they will reward you for your love with some beautiful, shiney, frosty, fat budsπ

@D33jW, Thank youuu! I would love to be better at it. But comes time, comes experience! But never forget to have fun with what you doing.π happy growing buddy!π±ππ
Followed, look forward to watching your grow. Amnesia Haze ehh? I may need to give this strain a try some day... I've heard great things and am a fan of super lemon haze.
@Browncoatgrows, Thanks a lot! I'm very happy to have you! If you like SLH you should try Amnesia! My wife was a lemon haze lover 10 years ago and Amnesia is by far her favourite strain now. They don't taste that different as far i can remember, but Amnesia has just that special twist (and a lot of nostalgia) which makes it unique for me.
@@justsomedude420, Thanks a lot buddy! π Yeah that's such a great moment! I still have doubts about the third one in this run, but two plants are enough π
