Hi guys,
Haven't uploaded in a while, but I'm back again with a All mix grow, I call it that because there all kinds of strains that I'll be growing. Right now they are at day 7 and will be repotted next week, no training will be done for now, but i will top them eventually, including the auto😁. My light is at 35%ish and 36-37cm from the plants and will remain like that untill i transplant them.
See you soon.
Starting week 2 of Veg, growth rate is super for the last couple of days, going to transplant them soon.
Update day 14
The other day I transplanted them into 15L text pots with 13L biobiz light mix, 2L coco from a block with rhizo, 3 handfuls per pot of perlite and a handful and a half of vermiculite. The lamp is at 40-45% at 40 cm and they are on 18/6, they were on 20/4. I turned on the IR for 15 minutes before and after the main lamp from which there should be a slight stretch, we will see if there will be a difference from it. Today I watered 200ml per pot, everything is still organic, I haven't fed. Gelato-k and Mighty grape slightly yellowed their first leaves, I think it's from transplanting, because on the 10th day they weren't like that and it can't be from lack of food, pH is 6.3, my meter is calibrated. The problem should not continue.
I forgot to mention that I will also be using Mars hydro's IR and UV light.
Day 18 today, the IR seems to have an effect on the plants they streched quite a bit, especially the gelato-k.
Update Day 21 end of week 3
I topped them yesterday including the auto, above the 4th node and removed the bottom two branches for a total of 6 tops. Today, for the first time, I watered them with 500 ml per pot with the same mix, I still do not add any NPK. The humidity is 70%, but I don't see it bothering them, on the contrary, I like how they look 😁.
They are arranged as follows:
Yellow- Bubble banana gum
Orange - Gelato K
Purple-Mighty grape
Green-Mozarella (which has the best structure so far)
Red-Zombie death fuck
Gray-Gorilla cookies
End of week 4
I did a little defoilation on the top branches just enough to expose the lower tops, humidity is a little high after I watered them, but they don't seem to show any signs of stress. The SP3000 is at 60-65% at the moment and the auto seems to be in week 2 of flowering in my opinion 😄. I watered it seperately, and added bio bloom to the mix.Wondering when to flip them to flower, since these are 15L pots that are not all the way full.
End of first week of flowering
The pictures are from the other day, I watered them once with food, half of what the manufacturer says, but the gelato showed claws, so I will feed them every other watering. I fed the gelato with green sensation, because I think it's around week 3-4 of flowering. I do light defoliation every other day just enough that the tops are not covered.
The lamp is at 85% at approximately 40 cm. The gorilla showed that it is hungry so I gave her green sensation and add up to 2 EC with PK 13-14. The mozzarella and the zombie showed a magnesium deficiency, I gave them cal-mag and watered the rest with it,I also upped the silicate and calibrated my ph just in case. I probably won't add novamax anymore, because they all got a little too dark, I don't want to add nitrogen, especially to the gorilla. Just gonna continue using PK and green sensation.
End of week 3, Im thinking of upping the cal-mag because the front ones keep showing symptoms of deficiency, the back ones are fine though. I am watering with RO water, and I guess its true that if you use LED the plant want more cal-mag than usual. Starting tomorrow I'm feeding everything with green sensation and PK 13-14 and cutting the seaweed from the mix, I just think that it has some nitrogen in it ,and as I said in my previous post, I want to limit it because some of them still have claws.
The light burnt them.... I'm still adjusting myself to these LED lights, 5cm can really be of importance, I even got a little bleached bud on the Gelato. Gave them a little bit more to eat this time as I'm entering week 5 of flower and gave the auto gorilla cookies Ripen, and will flush from now on because it's entering week 10 soon.
They swelled up a bit, I removed some yellow leafs here and there, but they are better in my opinion. I have a feeling that the RO water also had a play in this yellowing, at the beginning of the week I watered everything with flora clean supposedly with the idea of refreshing things a bit, and the other day I watered them with the normal solution, only this time with flora nova, in which says that there is enough calcium, separately I gave bio biz cal-mag and watered with tap water with the idea of knowing that I had saturated them with micro nutrients, I also gave them silicate, which also has a little calcium, but more magnesium. Ec was about 2.2 I watered the auto with flora clean and distillate for the second time, these days I'll cut it, all the trichomes are white, and some amber here and there.
I watered them with a little more food -2.7 EC, things seem to have improved, but due to the stress some of them hermied on me, which was expected. Mighty grape and zombie each have a seed or two on one of their tops, but I'll just separate them for something else, hash maybe, the others on the left are fine. In addition to the stress from the lamp, I wondered if the UV had also had an effect. They say it should be used with 730W lamps and above, and I pushed it into this small tent hahah and even though I run it 4 times for 15 minutes, I think I'll remove it and leave it for the big tent, the plants were quite stressed so i don't think they'll benefit from it anymore
I cut the gorrila cookies auto .it had a little bud rot but it was just a spot nothing serious, the buds look very nice, and smell strong.
They put on a little weight but I think thats it, they've been through ednough stress so I'm calling it, started watering with Final part, probably gonna do 1 or 2 more feedings with it, and then flush.
The grow is almost over, I've flushed them once and maybe will repeat before the cut. Not my best grow but will compensate on the next one , stay tuned😉.
