Week 15: Trichome Magic Unfolds
In the heart of the grow room, our ladies are transforming into veritable trichome factories, dazzling us with their frosty allure. A symphony of fruity scents dances in the air, signaling the season of bud is upon us. This week, our green beauties indulged in a molasses tea bath, delighting in the nourishment it provided, while the bat guano seemed to invigorate their spirits.
#2 underwent a bold defoliation, a surgical strike aimed at paving the way for colossal nuggetsโthose coveted giants that inspire awe. We're aiming for top-tier yields here, envisioning nothing short of majestic "donkey dicks" of cannabis glory.
#3, on the other hand, received a gentler pruning, gracefully progressing through flowering at a steady pace, promising a bountiful yield in due time.
#4, resembling more of a sativa in growth, demanded minimal intervention, her elegant stature exuding an enchanting aroma, while generously coating herself in a cloak of delicate trichomes.
#5, our front-runner in the flowering race, underwent a tender defoliation, rewarding us with an intoxicating fragranceโnotes of fruit mingling with hints of gas, a tantalizing preview of what's to come. Trichomes, like golden treasures, adorn even her sugar leaves, a sight that fills us with anticipation for the impending harvest.
If you've journeyed with us this far, shower us with your appreciation, a like and follow for weekly updates on Golden's cannabis chronicles. Join us as we witness the magic unfold, one trichome at a time.
The ladies are looking strong! I had the stretch a bit at one point as well but it worked out.
If you donโt mind me asking, where are you roughly, that itโs 70 degrees and you can grow them outside? I love outside growing though the bugs can be a pain I still like it. Have you grown this strain before?
Hey @Ms_Bloomie, thanks for the questions.
Iโm very far down in the southern hemisphere. Weโre expecting summer solstice (and flowering to begin) around 23 December.
On average over the last week itโs been about 70 degrees. Iโm expecting temperatures up to 89 degrees on certain days around January.
Bugs can be troublesome at times, but Iโve found neem oil diluted with some water in a spray bottle keeps them at bay. I try to spray them twice a week in veg. How do you deal with the bugs especially during flower?
Iโve never grown this strain before but really hoping she shows some of her orange hues during flower. How did you deal with the stretch?
@Golden, Ich konnte mir ihre Geschichte bildlich vorstellen. Etwas dick aufgetragen, ja aber gut. Mir gefรคllt es. In der Woche vorher war es etwas sachlicher.

@bigolebuds, Well thatโs very kind of you sir. Iโm far down in the southern hemisphere. Iโm already expecting temperatures to sore to the high 70s/low 80s in the coming months. Wish you and myself luck for the heat - Golden ๐๐ฅ
Thank you brother @LowzGrowz, the fence took ages to make and itโll make early LST a breeze in the big pots. How do you think the transplant went? ๐
