I’m using a “sunlike” led with additional IR and holy crap did it make all my seedlings stretch several inches compared to when I germinate under a blurple. I replanted them and put together their new home - a 2x3 veg tent with shelves for moms and clones and a divider if you want to have the 2x2 space on a different light schedule. I’m not using the divider because everything in here is on 18/6 and I think the additional lighting in the space is helpful. Gave them a new light and dimmed the power to 50%. No more stretching thankfully and they have adjusted well with the transition. Roots starting to peek out of the solo cups so will be transplanting them by the end of the week. Giving them collected rain water and enriching with the GP3 nute schedule. I’m ridiculously happy with this tent set up.
Pinched out the growth tip on the 4th node of one OLP. Attempted to clone another.
Happy growing 🌱
Do you prune the roots before repotting? Heard thats actually beneficial but actually never seen someone do it...
Those are some nice Roots btw. 😸
Have a nice one Growmie.
I replanted the seedlings deeper into 500ml solo cups and increased the light intensity. They are being watered with GP3 nutrients schedule. Easy to use, clean, local brand. So far so good. Once they’ve spread their roots out wide should start to see some growth this week.
