Hello there! Just started few days ago, this is my second grow ever, I think I'm going to try a LST this time A bit hard to keep umidity high and temperature low, but you know "winter is coming", so mother nature will give some help 5th day, spotted a very little bug flying around, continue to monitor the situation. 7th day, first week is gone, they look pretty happy and healthy. No more bugs spotted for now

Hello there! Second week has begun, no particular matters or comment to do. They look pretty good. Next week I'll start giving nutrients 11th day, first leaves are getting a bit curly, could be heat stress? Temperature goes rarely over 28°C !

Hello there! The third week is ongoing and everything seems ok for now. These two little girl are growing very fast and healthy! On 16th day I started whit some nutrients, I think I'm gonna feed them every third or second watering, let's see how they react. I'm also trying to figure out the best way to LST, so if you have any suggestions you are very welcomed! 19th day, they are reacting good to nutes, and looks like they are very comfortable with the new training. New pictures added! See you soon with some other picture of the training! Keep growing!

Hello there! These two ladies are continuing to grow very well. It looks like they are responding in a great way to LST. I will try to bond the main cola all around the pot's edge while it stretches. As I said before this is my first time I do LST so if everyone of you has any warning or advice they are very welcomed. At least to know if my idea is good or not. For now I'm giving them nutrients every second watering. See you soon whit other updates! Be good now and keep growing!

Hello there! Fifth week has started, looks like the growth slowed down for both these ladies, so I start to feed every watering from today until I'll see some improvement. I think this behaviour could be caused by some kind of recovering from the LST. It's curious because plant #1 was going faster than plant #2, but now the tables have turned. Hope everything will be ok. See you soon with some news. Stay tuned and keep growing! 31st day, lower leaves started yellowing. I'm thinking about nitrogen deficiency.

On the 31st day I noticed that, in both the plants, the leaves started yellowing from the bottom of the plant! For now the yellowing reached the first couple of fan leaves. You can see that in last three photos. Could be some pH issue or some over/under feeding?

To me there's no problem other then the PH being off just a little bit in soil its ideal to be at 6.5-6.7 those are just your very starting leafs they always turn yellow after some time . I would keep doing what your doing because if you had a problem you would see it in other leaves as well not just those ones . I would prune those off and keep growing ! Ain't nothing wrong with what I see here . -Happy Growing !

Hello there! 6th week almost ended, the yellowing of bottom fan leaves is continuing, although I increased nitrogen in the feeding and kept the pH between 6 and 7... Also they look very little for a six week old plant, the tallest one barely reaches 33cm. Despite this I think I'm going to switch to 12/12 from 7th week, because I would really like to end the cycle in 12/13 weeks in total. As always every suggestion is very welcomed. Be good now and keep growing!

Referring to the last 4 photos: I think I could have removed many more leaves, but I wanted to ask you if I should or not. Referring in particular to the last two photos: what should I do with these little stems for a proper defoliation/lollipopping? Leave them or chop them off?

When in doubt, it is always best to defoliate less. Also don't defoliate during the first 3 weeks of flower, you will take the plants energy away from producing bud sites, delaying the flowering. You seem to have left some bud sites with no leaves, every bud site that you want to develop needs leaves to get energy from. Some LST would be good to get a more even canopy and expose more of the mid lower bus sites. As for the lower stems / foliage, bud sites that low you can get rid of (since they will barely amount to anything); as for leaves, there's no point in getting rid of the lower leaves, you gain nothing, unless you want to improve air circulation, at the very least they serve as an early warning system against deficiencies. Hope that helps, good luck

Hello there! We're in the middle of third week of flowering and a lot of minibuds popped out! These girls are growing pretty happy despite some day ago they went a bit dehydrated, but they totally recovered very fast. Also they're stretching very much, they almost doubled up in height since flowering started. See you soon with new photos and updates, stay tuned and keep growing!

Hello there! Eleventh week is ending, buds started fattening and these girls are continuing to stretch! The tallest one (#1) just reached 1 meter! They look pretty healthy, but one of them just got a couple leaves burnt, I guess a bit potassium toxicity, nothing to worry about. Stay tuned for more updates and photos and keep growing!

Referring to last photo (week 12), she is having weird behaviour: some leaves showing N deficiency (probably normal in this stage) but others are showing some kind of toxicity (?). Also can look like K deficiency, but it would be strange cause I'm pumping it in. What could it be?

Hey there @bombadil. Plants have 2 types of nutrients called mobile and immobile nutrients. Immobile nutrients CANT be moved around the plant and due to this the symptoms show directly on the newer growth where the deficiency is active. The other type of nutrient is Mobile. Mobile nutrients can be pulled from the lower leaves to be given to the newer growth up top as a survival method so they show symptoms on the bottom side of the plant first. You have a mobile nutrient deficiency evidenced by the lower growth being effected first by the absence. I see magnesium deficiency immediately. You will want to lower that PH 6.8 is to high you will want a PH of around 6.2-6.3 to give better access to all the nutrients including your deficient one Magnesium. Just be sure to give her that magnesium and she should stop showing signs of regression! Please update us on this Bombadil! 😎

Hello there! 13th week ongoing here. We're fighting against a magnesium deficiency and hoping these ladies will respond well. They finally stopped stretching, but it also looks like bud-fattening is slowing a bit, probably due to the deficiency. Otherwise they look pretty healthy. Thanks to everyone for the answers and advices! I didn't expect so many people following my diary. See you soon with new photos and updates! Stay tuned and keep growing!

Hello there! 14th week started (7th of flowering), these ladies proudly fought against some deficiencies, and now they look pretty much recovered. Strange fact is that while #2 exploded in flowering (she was falling down due to the weight of the buds! I added a little exoskeleton to keep her straight), #1 stayed very slim. Also the buds of #1 just under the top look fatter than the ones who are ACTUALLY on the top. Never seen something like that, probably due to the extreme stretching only she did in early flowering. Anyway I think the time for flushing, as well as the time for harvest is coming closer! So stay tuned for more updates and photos! Happy new year everyone and keep growing!

Hello there! We're in late flowering here, but these girls definitely needs more time, so I didn't start an actual flushing yet, but I've already stopped give them the heavy nutes. Just a little magnesium kick and some sugars for them now. #1 still looking pretty slim, having many orange pistils and some cloudy trichomes though. #2 still very fat and snowy, a bit further in growing than the other one. Anyway I would like to harvest them together, let's see what happens. Probably they'll be ready to flush at the ending of this week or, at very least, at the beginning of the next one. As usual if you have any suggestions or advices don't hesitate to comment! See you soon with new photos and updates! Have a 2019 full of weed and keep growing! Edit: after first day if this week I stopped any fert and just give them pure water

Hello there! We've now entered the 16th week here, these girls are drinking only pure water for 7 days in a row and they're are definitely appreciating it. Despite a quite huge leaves loss, buds started thickening like crazy, even the slim one now looks like a regular one. Don't know how many time they will need to be ready, let's see what happens after another week of flushing. See you soon with new photos and updates, keep growing!

Hello there! I was very busy these days, so I couldn't update the diary. News are: I chopped #2 because she was definitely ready to go while #1 needed (definitely!) more time. So #1 is still in the box following the pure water rule. Check out the next week for more updates and photos, keep growing!

We've reached the middle of the 18th week, but this lady needs more time to thick her buds. She is doing pretty good, besides some leaves loss and yellowing due to the heavy flush policy. See you and happy growing to everyone!

Hello there! We made it, this is the last week! Probably she would have liked a couple of weeks more, but as you can see the flushing period has gone very far, and also temperature started rising! So it's time to say goodbye to my last Amnesia Lemon plant :( I want to thanks everyone who helped me or has just followed me until here! Harvest updates will follow. Stay high and keep growing! Let's spread the green around the world again!
