Soaked seeds overnight then directly sowed into 5 Gallon pots, using some nutrient-less peat mix in the center. Both emerged from the soil in under 3 days. A few worms were added to the pots when filling with soil mix. They started out life in my cool grows 3x2 propagation tent with the Ac infinity S33 light. But were later switch to growing under the Viparspectra p1000 when I upgraded to another 3x3 tent.

Not a whole lot worth mentioning other than one of the plants self-topped and they did very well germinating and getting started. They had one dry down and one watering and seemed to be liking the heat from the ac infinity light.

Added pine bedding mulch, DE and sticky traps to try and keep the fungus gnats down. I believe I gave them both some store bought coconut water and some worm juice from my worm bin and a light watering. They seemed to be taking well to my soil I made up from my last grow. It had a lot more time to sit and mature.

Was surprised at how little stretch and fat fan leaves. Seemed to hit the light perfect with about half power and light all the way raised. The Geometry of both plants are awesome and symmetrical. They both got a small defoliation to expose the new shoots and to open up the center.

I only ended up getting one picture of the Durban this week as I was so focused on my Galaxy clones and was the week I introduced ladybugs in the other tent because i thought i had a pest problem, that turned out to only be soil mites. Was the week that I changed the light to the p1000 and was setting up another tent to keep clones. They also were both topped an fimed and defoliated one time and started to defoliate. They were doing so well I barely even checked on them. They also got a foliar feed and soil drench of boogie brew.

Not much growth I hight this week but they started to bush out quite a bit. They started praying hard towards the end of the week. No pruning as I knew I was about to get clones and wanted as much to choose from.

They finally made it out of the cool grows tent and into their own 3x3's each in new 30-gallon pots. I had another batch of soil baking up, that was made using PRO-MIX of vegetable and herb as the base but not have enough and had to take apart the galaxy root balls to fill them. I just wanted to let the old soil rest for a little and to let the the fungus gnats die off before I used it again. Added maybe a dozen or so worms to each pot. Added a net and just bent the stems as gently as I could as at this point they were starting to get woody

Added some cover crop seed. Some green beans i have perpetually growing in my garden as well as some bulk spinach seed. Accidentally ripped open my caliuana worm casting that came with my boogie brew so just added it all as a top dressing and the next day the plants were extremely happy and green and praying. Was bending my #2 the one that didn't self-top and split the main stem right in half. Put some honey and some grafting tape on it and the plant seemed to be comely un-effected. Noticed a few of the ladybugs still hanging around come for a snack too. At this point knowing that its really close to being time to flip to flower. The clone took very well And rooted in under a week. And was able to pot them up into slightly larger pot as space is a real issue for me right now. This is deffs a strain I plan on doing quite a bit I hope I got some good phenos. And I still have one more seed I can germinate. I'm liking the idea of one plant per tent it should be easier to do multiple strains in one go.

The new nodes are really starting to fill out the canopy and nice new lush new growth. Had my humidifiers out in my drying area and just been letting my watering take care of the humidity levels. The humidity has been slowly decreasing this week and I have backed off the watering a little bit as some of the fungus gnats started to come back. I was going slightly to much on the water trying to keep the cover crop happy and noticed some leave top yellowing/white that seemed to go away as I let them dry out. Also worth mentioning my worm bin is doing awesome. When I had it outside some black soldier fly larvae appeared and it freaked me out at first not knowing what it was and removed a majority of them. but noticed that some of them had survived and saw what looked like predator mites. The worm bin truly looked alive and was a cool sight to seed. I almost had a jailbreak earlier in the week as my feeding of apples, mushrooms and asparagus really heated the bin up about 130 degrees, and ended up adding a little ice to that layer to cool it down temp a reasonable temp 11/5 Lolly popped the bottom removing all suckers below the first net. Installed the second net. Top dressed with power bloom rock dust, neem seed meal, kelp, bat guano and crab meal and watered each plant a little over a gallon each I plan on switching the lights in a few days they need just a day it two to recover from more bending before I want to change any more parameters.

Turned the lights to 12 hours exactly 1 week ago. The node spacing is looking very tight and they are showing a normal amount of stretch. The leaves are starting to show more of the sativa characteristics. I have both of the lights turned up all the way and each plant is receiving about 600 par in the center and stretching into 800 range. The plant that self topped from seed is showing darker/thiner green leaves. It is the one that has the ac infinity light and the other plant which had 1 main stem under the bestva has lighter green leaves that are also a bit more indicia like. Both plants are looking very happy and not having any leaf tip burn and the leaves are praying. They got a feed of boogie brew when I transplanted the clones into 1 gal pots. Got a little behind with the clones but they are looking much happier in the new pots and I will be trying to keep them as small as possible until I'm ready to either use or give them away. Noticed the plants starting to stink a little more.

Both plants are looking pretty good. They have stretched from the bottom net to the top net and pre-buds are showing. Temperatures have dropped and the basement is staying around 66 degrees F and between 45-50 percent humidity. Been trying to dial in my Ac Infinity controller so that my tents temperatures are not fluctuating too much because I have the lights up all the way because their day cycle runs overnight and when it ramps up to 10 its likes to stay there and the day time temps in Durban 1 tent has been in low 70's while the other tent daytime is 78. I don't have humidifiers setup as I'm already in a good range but with all the extra airflow it seems to dry thing out a little too fast. Been watering every 3 days or so about 1 1/2 gallons each plant. The Durbans 2 tent with the more powerful Bestva light seems to be doing better even at full power Im not getting as many temp fluctuations. I mounted the lights directly to the top bar of the tent anticipating lots of stretch being this is Durban but it is not stretching as fast or as much as i thought. Did a small defoliation earlier in the week then got another top dressing of dry amendments and a feeding of kelp molasses and mosquito dunks later in the week. Noticed the D #1 getting brownish/purple coloration in the new growth. I thought it was bud rot at first but I guess its just from my temps going down. Added a small scoop of worms that escaped the bottom of my worm bin to each pot. The soil is starting to get more firm and i figured they could use the new home and could help. Also have some black soldier flys buzzing around and hatching from the worm bin, they are actually really cool. And also excited to see a few lady bugs still surviving from my last run in my tents as well. Clones are doing well, also been getting some of the light from my p1000 as I took down the divider in my 3-in-1 cool grows 2x3.

Everything is going been smoothly. The plants are starting to show more purple. The buds are Forming quick. Already seeing a decent amount of trichomes. Also starting to get that sweet hazy smell. I'm thinking i need to do some defoliation soon. Clones are nice and healthy. I need to think about finding them a new home and potting up a cut of each plant as a mom in a 3 gallon.

Did some defoliation and added some sand on top the soil to help get rid of the fungus gnats. The buds are starting to smell very nice and already getting pretty frosty. I topped my clones a few nodes from the tops to manage their hight and prepare them for some nice branches to bend under a scrog net.

Topped off the soil with some more sand as the first round kind of washed away with water but left some of the larger small pebbles. Looks like the fungus gnats are almost completely gone now. Noticed though my green bean seeds do not care about the layer if sand and saw a few starting to poke through. Did another small defoliation and is likely the last time other than removing obvious dead leaves. Got rid of some of the larf early on but not going to worry about it looks like the canopy depth is pretty thick. The plant with the bestva 400w light is defiantly stacking a little heavies than the 240w ac infinity. They are drinking a decent amount if water. I watered them to some drain out for the first time with the 30 gal as been feeding just the right amount with my sprayer, about 1 1/2 gallons to each pot ever 3 days or so. Looks lime the tricomes are turning purple. I'm very happy with the wag they are smelling and looking. Very excited to see how much they stack this week

Noticing the buds getting thicker and frostier everyday. They are looking beautiful and even have purple trichomes. Top dressed each pot with 1 cup of gia green power bloom, and a soak with boogie brew the next day. The sand is still doing pretty well at holding back the fungus gnats but still a few lingering. Removed a few fan laves but pretty much just letting these ride life out. They are drinking quite a bit, and noticed some slight leave tip burn. Cant tell if its from the pots drying out too much or my soil is starting to deplete itself They are getting quite smelly too. Very Hazy with sweetness and some fruit, some fuel and the classic Durban smell. Ordered a Nug smasher mini to make some rosin. It's looking like this Durban will produce well seeing how frosty they are, fingers crossed. Not going to rush these and maybe let them flower a week past the 8 they call for and let them fatten up as much as possible.

Both the plants are getting quite pungent now, and they smell amazing.Sort of fruity/lemony hit if rose/floral and slight funk. The amount of trichomes forming is un-belivable. Some of the purpling has gone however. The buds are quite chunky and dense as well and forming dense clusters now in the tent with the slightly more powerful light. They have been getting a little bit of Molasses and liquid kelp every other watering. Think I finally got rid of the fungus gnats for now, after another topping of sand with DE mixed in. The water was also brewed with some mosquito dunks with my compost tea bag, so they should be gone for a while fingers crossed. Only a few more weeks till harvest I'm getting very excited. My nugsmasher mini also arrived and i tried to smashed a fresh nug from the durban to play around and it squeezed out PURPLE, went to collect it but it had soaked into the parchment.

Sorry for the late update. I got 24 hour stomach virus last Thursday and took about week to recover. Last full week of flower for these ladies. They started to show some fading on the upper leaves and the buds stopped swelling. I was starting to see amber trichomes on the buds themselves and the rest are white and milky. They were thirsty this week got a few heavy waterings, one with some molasses and some of my worm juice from my bin. The clones/moms are doing amazing as well. The moms are in 3 gallon fabric pots and the clones in gallon plastic pots. Been topping them ever few weeks to keep the height down they are all developing nice structures. The self topping pheno seems to be a bit to airy structure to want to keep around.

The plants only made it 3 days into week 9 of flower. I wanted to wait the whole week but they were looking perfect to harvest and I had the weekend to get it done. Was a little nervous about how much room I had in my drying tent but both plants once on hangers filled the tent perfectly. I borrowed a metal bar from my clothes rack and hung it with ratchet hangers to made a second level to put hangers of bud on. Borrowed my AC infinity controller from my cool grow propagation tent to control the drying tent. I have a 6 inch intake fan pulling air out and a small humidifier to keep up with the dry winter air. Have the heater in my studio set to eco mode at 60 degrees. And i don't have to run the ac or the dehumidifier this time because its winter. So far everything is holding optimal conditions. Both of my humidifiers decided to start leaking last week, along with getting sick last thursday, day after sowing some new seeds. Been playing a bit of catch up this week, it feels good to have the plants harvested and drying, and i can put my energy into my next runs. Also going to be starting my veggies soon. Mostly some peppers, eggplants, some herbs. Not going to get a wet weight on these plants, so I will update with the results in about 2 weeks once these are dried and I get them trimmed up. How much do you guys think its gonna be per plant?!

The first plant growing under the Ac Infinity 240w yielded 5.33 oz buds, 1.18 oz of larf, and 3 oz of trim. The second plant growing under Bestva 400w light yielded 6.66 oz bud,1.16 oz larf and 2.42 oz or trim .I started trimming at the end of day 13 of drying, despite only getting stem-snap on one of the stems, the rest only bending. I thought I let my galaxy get too dry so I wanted to try trimming this "wetter". The tent didn't fluctuate from 60/60 much at all. I knew it was going to take a while so decided to pull and an all-nighter and started around 7 pm after work and finished around 3:30 am. My trimming area was a bit dry(35-45%H) so i ran my humidifier and placed my controller probe next to me to keep things in check. In reality, it was so dry I just needed to run it full blast. The plants were pretty smelly the entire time they were drying and never got too strong a "green" smell and were smokable right off the dry/cure racks, and burned to gray/white I didn't defoliate much at all, only the dead stuff when harvesting, and the bigger fan leaves still had some moisture in the stems when trimming, but once into jars, I was only sitting around 53-57 percent after a few hours, which is not what I expected at all because I thought I started trimming a little early. I thought I would be closer to 62-65 range once jarred and would burp them down to 58-60 Waited a little longer and a few bumped up to 57- and 60 but a few still most around 55 so I added some fresh fan leaves and after a day most are around 58 and a few 60-61. The smell coming off the grinder is very strong. But the smoke flavors I don't think will show until a few weeks in jars. The first time i smoked it I got a little giggly. A motivating and stimulating smoke. The flavor is unique, but get a slight licorice-like aroma, followed by citrus/pine/floral/gas. It is very smooth, even in the bowl. Burns even and thoroughly without needing to relight. As far as the yield goes, I'm satisfied but not as much as I thought it was going to pull. I think I may be underwatering, and maybe not pushing my nutrients as far as I should because it seems like I have everything else dialed in, and I do have an EC probe and check my soil mixes and run off and I try to stay 500 -700 for veg, and 700-100 for flower but I might bum up to around 1,200 for flower and see how it goes. It should be enough for me and my family, but I am not sure if I will have too much material to make rosin this time around. Going to try out some hemp THCA distillate and batter I got for a good price for now instead of smashing too many of my nice nugs
