Hello
Here is my first try with new nutrition and new soil. Thius time I will try the Plagron Series with the Plagron Allmix as soil. Nothing added, just out of the sack. It should be good for vegetation stage without adding any nutrition.
For the flowering stage I will use the nutritions I got from Plagron. The next weeks I will tell you morte about the products I use.
For the seeds I took some Zamnesia Candy Rain.
These are a mix of London Pound Cake and Gelato and are about 70% indica and 30% sativa.
With about 20% THC and balanced effects, this should be a good strain for daytime use as they describe its effects as a moderate high with euphoric feelings and a decent stoned feeling.
For the germination I placed the seeds into the eazy plugs and watered them. They sit for 4 days until all four seeds popped and revealed their tiny plants.
I put them directly into their final pots under the light, running at about 80W and 13k Lux.
This is the first time using Plagron products. So I decided to try an organic Plagron soil to match the nutritions from Plagron.
I decided to use the Plagron Allmix.
This soil contains peat, perlite, worm castings, organic fertilizers.
The NPK is 5.5-11-5.5 and should work up to 6 weeks till you need to feed extra nutrition.
So I should be good the whole growth stage until flower. Luckily the soil is not harsh to the young plants. I had soils that seedlings coudn´t handle but this soil is fine for them.
That first week they only got water.
End of week 2 I decided to do topping and left only the second node.
I have no idea if these genetics like this but I will find out, maybe it was a little bit early to do this.
This week I started adding some enhancer/additive.
I used Plagron Sugar Royal which is a nitrogen nutrition NPK 8-0-0. There is also a mix of different amino acids inside.
You only need 1ml/L every watering through the whole grow except the first week.
This product enhances the natural aroma and taste of the final product by supporting and challenging the processes of the plants. It sets the plant to mild stress and also help the plant to deal with the stress. After all, the plants should grow quicker.
That week I only replaced the hooks to sit in the right position.
Also the plants got their dose of Sugar Royal.
The soil finally settled down a bit, so the pots seem to loose soil.
This week I topped the plants again and bent them down.
The lowest leaves of two plants show signs of ph fluctuation but I don´t know why. Always the same water and only two plants showing symptoms. If this will continue, I will ph correct the water down to 6.5 as my tap water is about ph 7.5.
This week I did a first defoliation.
Now the plants switched to flowering, first signs are visible.
So I added power buds to the nutrition scheme.
Plagron says:
Now we see real flowers here. The second week of flowering brings the buds to come out.
This happened really fast, power buds is doing a great job here.
I also started to give the plants nutrition for flowers.
I am using Plagron Alga Bloom, Plagron says:
Alga Bloom is a base plant nutrient that was created especially for soil-based cultivation. Alga Bloom is used during the plant’s flowering phase. This fertilizer, which is based on algae, aids in establishing healthy, sound plants that flower profusely.
Being in the third week of flowering, there isn´t much to do now.
I just let them grow for a while and give them water and nutrition when needed.
The light is adjusted at about half power, so about 160W.
The need for growing high is done. These girls seem to stay small, about 52cm now.
But one is purpeling nice and another one seems to purple, I see some purple flower calyx here and there.
The smell gets better each week, the terpenes are building up.
I think, the ladies are done. This week is harvest time.
The smell is heavy now, sweet and stingy.
The colours are nice, the buds went purple on two plants.
So no nutrition any more.
Harvest was sticky, the smell was heavy all through the house, not recommended to work with them outside your grow room with active charcoal filters.
I was lazy and only removes the biggest leaves myself, my spinner did the big job.
