Let's start with a new diary ✌️
This time I'll try to grow an easy auto, I'm in a really busy moment in my life and I need something easy to go. I've checked in my fridge and I founded this bean of Wedding Cheesecake. I remember this is an huge yielder so I want to train her wisely.
She germinated and sprouted in 36h:
24h in ph'd 6.0 water, after that i've buried the seed with the initial radica in a soil mixed with perlite some coco, peat, worm castings and great white granular (60gx20lt soil).
After 12h she sprouted from the soil. She seems fine. Rh is at 70% right now. Temperature is at 23.5° C
I hope to grow a beautiful plant. 💚
First week for Lasagna!
Who the hell is Lasagna? The plant obviously.
Yes, I give strange names to plants but I think Lasagna is good for this girl: I can see already all the layers of trichomes and cheese she will generate.
However... She's growing well. I've put the dimmer of the lamp at 75% at 40cm above her and I think for now is the sweet spot for light, temperature and humidity.
65%rh 24°C and not so high ventilation.
The first week was good. I think I'll top her at the end of the next week. She's growing big leaves and she's getting chonky already, I hope to see her growing faster in this next week, for now it's important to focus on the roots, after that it will be training time (my personal favourite part of the grow).
Let's see what happens next!
See you next week and happy growing✌️
Second veg week for Lasagna!
This girl is amazing but had some problem during the start of the second week.
She didn't made the branches of the three pointed leaves, instead it became a trunk with a six/eight points leaf, trapping all new branches inside the main trunk! Poorly transpiration? Maybe.
After seeing what was happening I've decided to become a surgeon and try the bisturi on her...and I think it worked! I've successfully set free the trapped branches and performed the first lst on her and she's responding very well!
Let me know if sometimes happens to you. This is the first time that happens to me indoors.
Let's see next week if I've made a good surgery! 😷
Happy growing brothers and sisters ✌️
Third week of veg of Lasagna!
She's a special girl. After the "surgery" I did, I've let her growing free for 5 days without touching anything to see what happens. She recovered well and the main trunk is becoming fat and thicker. Now I've lightly defoliated (5 or 6 leaves) and I did some LST. Topping her right now can be dangerous so I'll grow more naturally than I usually do: Just some stretching sometimes to let the other flowers grow better.
I raised the lamp a little bit, downward leaves are not a good sign, can be to much heat or a root problem.
Let's pray for a giant lasagna 🙏
This is a relaxed diary, without great effort. If you want more precise contents let me know in the comment section 👇
See you next week!
Happy growing brothers and sisters
Last week of veg for Lasagna!
During this week I was able to see how she recovered completely after the "surgery". I simply did a light defoliation and some LST and I'm finally giving it the shape I wanted! As you can see from my previous diaries I don't like to defoliate the plant too much, I prefer to maintain it with a natural bush look.My opinion is that the leaves give great support to the grower with a minimum of experience, as they can tell you how the plant is doing and therefore even the lower ones should not be removed as the first symptoms of root or nutrient problems starts from them and can warn you.
Around day 27 she is showing the first signs of pre-flowering. Very fast! I added Terpinator, Calmag and Power Buds to the ingredient list on her menu. I hope Power Buds works as they say, it's the first time I've used it and I'm curious to understand if it actually increases the flowering rate and yield.
Now I'll wait till next week to see how she stretches! The next week will be the first week of flowering! Can't wait!
See you next week!
Happy growing brothers and sisters ✌️
First week of flowering for Lasagna!
Uh oh I see some yellowing on the leaves 😨
It can be three factors: wrong ph, light burn, or phosphorus/cal mag deficiency.
I've added some kelp in the soil, she needs carbohydrates. I've raised again the lamp 45cm from her top, I'm targeting 800 with the ppfd for the first two weeks of flowering and maybe raise it at 1000 during the full flower. During the calculation of the ppfd I saw that was too much higher (1220) so I think the yellowing is caused by light burns. However, I've flushed her a bit (not so much) and then I started giving nutrients again to her. She stretched 12cm during this week and I hope to see more stretch in the next week.
I can see lots of bud points, if she can handle it to the end this baby will be a big yielding monster.
Let's pray for Lasagna!
Happy growing brothers and sisters ✌️
See you next week!
Second week of flowering for Lasagna!
After the ph problem she didn't stretched properly...shit happens.
However, it can be a good yield though!
During the last day of the week I've defoliated her heavily.
I hope to have resolved her problems, She started to smell a lot during these days.
I've added Green Sensation and Pk 13-14.
Let's see if it will flower properly! We have a polyploid flower in the family 😳
See you next week.
Happy growing brothers and sisters ✌️
Third week of flowering for Lasagna!
She's stable rn. After the flush the ph of the soil seems to be at 6.1. I'll not fertilize for a week and then I'll restart. The flowers seems to be growing decently and the polyploid is lovely.
Nothing much to share for this week and probably for the next, so I'll go fast forward till the end.
Happy growing brothers and sisters ✌️
Fourth week of flowering for Lasagna!
As I thought she suffered a lot from the ph shit and the flush during the start of the flowering. However, this is not a terrible thing, problems can happen and no one is perfect, mostly if you don't have an automated system like me.
I've stopped giving her some nutrients like the Power buds, she doesn't need that anymore. She started yellowing a lot during this week but the buds are swelling very well.
Happy growing brothers and sisters ✌️
Fifth week of flowering for Lasagna!
This girl could have become a colossus!
Next week I will flush her.
I fertilized only one time, from now on only 5.8 water.
Happy growing brothers and sisters ✌️
Week number six of flowering for Lasagna!
I've done the flushing, after this week I will say farewell to Lasagna and chop her. This girl taught me to don't forget about the fundamentals even if I can't spend lot of time on the plant I have to keep some schedule or problems will overcome.
This girl made all these flowers only from 3 branches! I'm going apeshit thinking about her in a healthy mood with more branches and healthier leaves 😓
However, happy growing brothers and sisters ✌️
