These 2 pictures were taken 13 days after she popped. It took 3 days for the seed to germinate, though it was sticking its head above the root plug by the middle of day 2.
These 2 pictures were taken 19 days into veg. Despite only being taken 6 days later, the amount of growth is impressive. The seedling seems to be very strong.
35 days in and the plant has gotten quite large. I start adding 1/4 tsp/gal of OAC Calmag once the plants start getting large, as my tap water is roughly 150ppm and I've had deficiencies in previous crops. This seems to prevent it.
47 days in and the plant is being put in the flowering tent, though still using a 16/8 light schedule so that it can get additional time under the more powerful flowering light.
54 days in and I transplanted the plant to a 10 gallon container. It will veg for a little over an additional week in order to recover from any transplant shock it might have experienced.
63 days in and the plant is ready to switch to 12/12. There was very little transplant shock, which contributed to it's rapid growth, which should support some large buds.
I started to notice nutrient deficiencies in my plant around this time and will be upping the nutrients for the next week. Clones of this plant (I cut 2 clones at separate times) will be given more nutrients earlier to avoid this problem. All in all, the plant is really filling out. Touching it leaves a slight coating of resin that smells faintly of berries.
The upping of the nutrients seems to have stopped the nutrient deficiency(ies) I'd been having. This becomes more evident in the subsequent weeks as you'll see from the photos. You can already see quite a lot of resin on the buds. It's already very sticky, with a pinch of the buds resulting a berry-scented resin that requires gojo to remove from the hands.
The buds are beginning to change color, and are getting even stickier. There is a faint berry smell at this point, with the resin being more fragrant than last week. The buds feel pretty dense when squeezed. I'm curious as to how dense they'll be when she's finished.
The buds are rapidly maturing, and seem to have a slightly stronger scent than last week. The main cola is beginning to shoot out additional buds as the rest of it starts to change color. With 3 more weeks to go, I'm hoping this amounts to a large yield.
The plant continues to put on weight. It's also getting stickier. I'm hoping for a good amount of resin on the finished product. I took off one branch to dry and sample. While not as strong as the finished product, it was quite enjoyable.
The plant is even heavier, and I might need to support the branches so that they don't snap. This is a good problem to have. I'm hoping I'll get 3+ oz. We'll see.
Finally time to harvest! The plant doesn't have much of a smell, even after harvesting. In fact, the smell didn't come back till jarring with humidity packets. Trimming was quick and easy, while also yielding a good amount of scissor hash to try later on. I dried it for 6 days before jarring with 62% humidity packets, as it's a bit dry where I am, although not a desert.
