Ok so after a rough start to her life she seems like she's finally in her groove .. this is my first run so I made many mistakes...from a leggy start to nitrogen toxicity I didn't think she'd make it .. I have 2 kosher cake autos running and both went through the sames stresses and I think because of the nitrogen problem they didn't start flowering until I put them on 12 on 12 off to trigger flower around day 42 .. as you can see they are about to 3 weeks in flower.. I wish I had started this diary from the beginning but I will from now on I'm going to do a grow diary every run .. using only maxibloom.. cal mag and Silica every 2 days to runoff
Is this nutrient burn? The yellowing then browning then drying up and curling tips..it's only on a couple leaves ... should I be concerned? This is my first grow .. thanks for any help
Yeah I think that could be deficient of N. Those leaves at one pic are so bright...

So, my first thought was - lack of N. Are u using some fertil. for vege stage?
Flowering plant still needs N to develop healthy leaves.
And, of course, low amount of N in plant, makes more issues with other nutri's.
I would use one full dosage of vege fertil. + half of bloom. fert. Once.
Then I would keep feeding with half dose of vege. fertil. + full dose of bloom. fertil.
Overall, thats not looking bad!
But, its only my opinion. I can be wrong, cause no complete info's about used fertilizers so its hard to say.
She's rocking and rolling 😎... full dose maxibloom and Silica every other day to runoff.. that's it ..PH 5.8-6.3.. for my first grow I'm very happy so far .. she is one of two kosher cakes I have running , both on the same schedule..same feed ..both on day 65 and both within 1 or 2 days of each other in flower .. love growing, very therapeutic
Any idea what deficiency this is ? Cal mag ? I'm using maxibloom full dose ..Silica full dose .. and cal mag once a week full dose .. it's only thease 2 leaves .. thanks so much and happy growing growmies
Hello my friend, the cause for this deficiency is a nutrient lockout due overfeeding. It is good that you ask this question early before real damage is done. Just cut the nutrients back to 70% from what you currently give. And the pH is a bit low for this phase of the grow. Try to keep it stable around 6.2
Ok so this week I did away with the Silica and been steady with the cal mag .. the yellow spots I saw I believe to be calcium deficiency rather than nutrient lock because I flush everytime I feed .. been steady with a full tsp if maxibloom per gallon and 3/4 tsp of calmag per gallon .. every other day to runoff .. plants look super happy and healthy and have been building buds steadily now .. she's a late bloomer ( almost 7 weeks in veg ) so I see this being over 100 days till harvest which is far from the 63 days fastbuds says lol but that's ok because I know that's just an estimate.. IL keep updating.. happy growing growmies!
Week 11 total week 6 of flower.. thease 2 kosher cake autos are cranking along now..I've bumped up the maxibloom a little and the girls are happy.. buds are starting to swell I can only hope they continue..for my first grow I'm very happy.. I gave my plants to God and God gave me thease plants. .hope everyone is is doing well getting ready for Christmas 🎄.. happy growing growmies.. will update pics throughout week.
Day 82 check in... buds are maturing..white hairs are now mostly orange..couple weeks left? Thease ladies are starting to smell nice 👌
Week 7 in flower week 12 from seed .. kicked the bloom up for the last week or so before flush..dialed down the cal mag..Silica is on the shelf for my next run ..buds are swelling now.. gonna feed a couple more times then led her go till harvest..for my first grow this has been a blessing 🙌.. stay tuned
Middle week 8 flower mid week 13 from seed... started flushing faze a few days ago .. water only for the next week or two until harvest..thease ladies have been quite the learning experience and can't wait for my 2nd run to apply what I learned... trichomes are mostly cloudy nit much for amber but I figure by the time the flush is over il be there.. hope everyone a great 2024! Ladies and gentlemen we are nearing the end and I couldn't be more excited.. girls are looking really good.. I've been flushing for 8 or 9 days now .. almost all the trichomes are cloudy.. not much amber at all but I want a nice head high ( that's were my problems are 😅 ) . Ladies and gentlemen the axe has swung! 2 plants down, a million to go! I have my Ladies on a dry rack in my tent .. RH is 58% temp around 18c ..I'm hoping for a 10 day dry and into the grove bags they go! I will of course update next week with harvest dry weight!
This is to date the best autoflower I have ever grown and it's just so happiness to be the very first one I've ever grown.. of course I have new strains and new autos growing right now so that can change in the near future.. kosher cake is so underrated and I just don't understand why they do not market it like they do every other strain.. for the life of me I can't understand it. Take a look at my last week of flower and look at those buds they are so Frosty so caked up just amazing
Okay so my suggestion to all you growers out there is to pick yourself up a kosher cake seed just buy one even and grow it and come back and tell me that it's not the best if not one of the best autoflowers you've ever grown unless I just got the unicorn seed pack which I highly doubt because you couldn't tell one plant from the other they were all so awesome.. I don't understand why fast buds does not market this strain at all it should be my opinion marketed right up there with their new strains or their top strains it should be sitting there next to their gorilla cookies it's that good guys
I'm using maxibloom..about a tsp per gallon..per feed .. Silica 1.5 tsp per gallon once or twice a week and cal mag once a week (maxibloom has some cal mag).. I PH as close to 6 as possible..lights mars hydro ts1000 150w at about 85% at around 18 in

Been tempted to grab a couple groove bags. Been using a fridge lately (had a spare in the basement when u moved) things been working great ,used it for the jelly which I need to update all them that were finished. Almost ready to jar and weigh it all up.
But what'd u say about them bags , seem to be worth it ?
Don't mind the fridge to dry but thinking about the bags over using jars again.
@Grow4Releaf, I absolutely recommend Grove bags.. they are so easy.and convenient.. after initial dry just bag up the bud in a Grove bag and put it in the closet or somewhere dark and cool preferably and that's it... No burping no having to check in with it .
Easy-to-use.. I suggest ordering directly from Grove bags website as Amazon ( where I bought them ) is too expensive..bags are around 2-3 dollars a bag and the bags can be used up to 4 times they say on the website..I have jars as well but find the Grove bags far superior..hope all is well! Yo thanks buddy I've been really stalled out! The bugs the f$##% bugs 🐛 I'm all natural so I've finally came up with a recipe to keep them away! Love your work grommie!

@Cannabizoid_X, yeah when you're all natural it's way harder to control those bugs.. I use my maxi Bloom silica and Cal mag recipe and I haven't seen one bug in my tent ever except for a ladybug and one time I had fungus gnats.. but other than that I've been good.. however I will say I want to go organic because I think the end product overall will be better I just don't have the room to grow outside and I damn sure don't want those bugs inside 😂
