So started a new grow and i'm planning on finishing this one on GD, unlike my previous diary's.
I have made another grow box and this is my best yet, completely stealth except the fan but that can be shut off remotely if any unwanted visitors come knocking lol.
I bought a 1/2 size cupboard off of Spock and gutted the inside, glued the cupboard door and draws back on and created a back entrance. There are good strong wheels on the bottom so the cupboard can be accessed easily.
Day 13 - Actual start of the Grow Diary today.
Day 14 - She is looking good but developed a weird yellow spot on one new leaf. Gonna keep a close eye on it!
Tip - For anyone who is still taking pink/purple pictures, pick yourselves up a pair of growroom green glasses they work perfectly for taking pictures under LED Lighting.

I havent had to do much with her at all this week, she looks healthy and ppm of nutrients is rising nicely there is about 10l of feed left of the 20l reservoir so i will probably top it up next week at some point.

So 7 weeks in and there are still no pistils, this was a free seed from @Dutch Passion and i thought it was an auto as the rest of the seeds i purchased were but im guessing its a photo period so i have now switched to 12/12.
So I spoke to Dutch Passion and they said the seed was supposed to be Auto! Do I leave her on 12/12 now she is starting to flower or shall I go back to 20/4 and risk re-veg??
We are loving the way things are going ATM. She should have been finishing up by now but as they say "things come to those who wait!!" hoping she is ready for the chop by New Year but i will have to wait and see.
This grow has been sooooo easy apart from a slight bit of nutrient burn that you can see, she has been a pleasure to grow, she is taking longer than expected but i wouldnt have her any other way lol.
Ive noticed that the pistils really turn bright orange even red 😁- i hope she tastes and smells as citrusy as she looks😝 - also getting frosty 👍

She is slowing down on the explosive growth now, and starting to ripen up, thinking 1 maybe 2 weeks till harvest!

Hi @LouShott! Well NFT does not really differ from any other hydroponic system, so you should plan a 5 to 7 days flush duration. Trichomes will tell you when to start (when they turn from clear to milky) and when to stop (when they turn from milky to amber). You will need to decrease your relative humidity for the last days, in order to maximize terpenes potency and resin production. Hope this will help, keep us up-to-date and enjoy your harvest 👊
I added a dehumidifier towards the end of this week to reduce the RH, but the thing i didn't realise was there were some red and yellow led's on the dehumidifier, one displaying RH and another for the power. I didn't cover up either through the dark periods and i just hope this past few days with them on doesn't affect my final yield 😣

So i have decided to harvest tomorrow so this will be my last update of the flowering period of my grow.
She's looking like Autumn and has such beautiful colours and extremely strong and fruity scent. i cant wait to try her, i probably could have waited a little longer but considering she was supposed to be an auto and seed to harvest in 10-12 weeks, i think i've done well waiting this long lol.
All of the Trichomes are cloudy so i'm up for trying the more energetic heady high, that is supposed to come with harvesting at this stage.
Growing was very easy, there were no problems along the way at all! the only thing was she was supposed to be an auto and be done in around 10-12 weeks but she went for 16 weeks and could have done with another week or two!
Maybe it was the low watt light that caused a slow growth, she exploded in veg but then slowed massively during flowering stage.
The weights are approximate as i only have my misses kitchen scales and i only weighed it wet and started smoking it as soon as it was dry enough, lol.
over all a good strain and i would recommend.
The smoke is lovely now it has cured, it is an excellent wake an bake smoke and really sets me up for the day.
Even the popcorn buds do the trick, i wasted very little of the plant and will update with pictures of the butter that i am going to make with the sugar leaves.

Also I just for some Auto Critical Orange Punch seeds so I cant wait too see how yours turns out. I might grow them in coco.
@LouShott,I would like to see your hydro set up and how it works. I would like to try hydro but I have never grown hydro only coco. But your set up sounds easy. I'm defiantly interested. I just don't want too have to deal with 30+ gallon res changes you know?

She has really exploded with growth the past week i will update my GD either tonight or tomorrow so follow along.
I've never tried growing in coco, but the NFT system i have seems to be doing the trick and its soooo easy literately fill up the tank with water and nutes and off you go lol.

i will check your grow out and follow along 👍 what watt is your light? might have something to do with it. i dunno for sure tho just a guess, mine is only a 300w.
Your time-lapse looks wicked man you can barely see the lines, the only thing i would say is it does look a bit green, what filter are you using?
@LouShott, ah I see! Maybe Gopro has decent built in ISO. I am using a Logitech webcam for my time-lapse and its giving me the interference lines. I'm trying to resolve the lines with a polarized filter, but to no avail so far!
I personally do the full week update at once for the most likes. When you add a new week it bumps your grow to the top to be seen so I like it the week to be seen completed. Its just personal opinion! Some people update daily as things are happening!
For instance my Timelapse diary will be updated tomorrow with the past 7 days of information, pictures, and video all at once!
@HighTV, not really the time-lapse is off of a GoPro with a green lense it takes one frame every 30sec and then I speeded it up 1100% obviously cutting out the dark periods. I can’t wait to do the harvest update.
Do you think I should wait until I have a dry weight before updating the harvest, or update it tomorrow with wet weight and then again at a later date when she is dry?
I dunno if it even matters or not lol. Bit of diary advice plz 😂😂
Sad to see she might be regular, sometimes new strains is not that stable all the way. But Mine did not show real proof of flower til week 6 so maybe yours is one of those ekstra late bloomer who should yield even more in the end? Crossing fingers ;)
@LouShott, Well i cant be sure xD Have you tried pm dutch passion on facebook, they are happy to help. I have seen more then enough autos not being totally autoflowering at all, unstable genetic / rare mishaps.

She has been on 12/12 for 9 days and there are a few white pistils now, looks like i will have to stick with it now, cant risk re-vegging her 😬

Your Critical Punch is so different from my current Punch grow. I know what you mean about the long veg. I have 4 autos in my tent. OCP is the only one that is not flowering going into week 5.
Ive grown this strain when it came out not too long ago. I had the same issues. 2 of the 3 werent autos so i chopped them. The remaining girl grew nicely but really slowed down for a few weeks in flower and ended up going 16 weeks, also could have had a couple of extra weeks. I suspect this auto is nowhere near stable of it happend to you aswell. I turned mine into concentrates. Yours does look better. Glad to hear shes a nice smoke. Great going bro!
Hey LouSchott, you always want a flush just to avoid that harshness on the inhale, no matter what system you're using. Nutes stick to that film more than in ebb and flow hydro systems that dont use NFT , but they get flushed out pretty quick. When you get your trychomes perfectly how you want them , then just go straight plain water for two days or 60hrs and you'll be golden, hope this helps ! 🚀
