Weird germination process: among the whole tent I had few duds so I had to replace and select. I noticed from the start that the seed didn't germinate correctly having kept the membrane closed tight on top, inclusive of seed shell. I manually removed the redundant seed shell and membrane myself. Germinated using the wet towel method, then planted with michoryzae powder as added boost. A couple of days later I have noticed that the top wilted while suffocated in the shell, however it is already sprouting a perfect "Y" " self-topped" shape to die for. I wasn't planning to train any of the plants in this grow but I will do it with this MOBY DICK: this strain is a high yielding sativa that has historically given me a consistent large harvest each time. It can bush out very quickly and I would have to allocate half a tent just for her.

Second grow week for the tent. the MOBY DICK has started doing what MD does: exponential vigorous growth leading the entire tent by example. Currently the most vigorous development in the tent. will tie down the two tops next week as to promote lateral growth rather than vertical. This week I introduced a sprinkle of MONSTERGROW (ONCE A WEEK) from grotek just to kickstart them, and hopefully I will incorporate as a combo Superthrive as from next week: in my humble experience they work brilliantly together.

Great vigorous growth throughout since last week. I started tieing the two main colas down to promote lateral and side branches growth. Since yesterday the top leaves started to display veined light discolouration that makes me think 1. ph fluctuations: which is negligeble, 0.5 and still well below 7 2. nute burn: also not the case as the ppm is relatively low, around 450 to 550 3. light stress: I m using new leds so I am not entirely familiar with it yet. at present it is on 4.2 out of 10 of potency. Besides she is the sole displaying this in the tent. The light schedule was changed from 24/0 to 20/4 as I felt that I don't know my new led lights well enough to try this out as a first time. They are 6 times more powerful (allegedly) from my previous three small ones combined and I do look forward to seethe difference density and product once used at 100% capacity.

great week: the lady doubled or tripled in size and girth. Moby dick doing what Moby dick does: consistent powerful sativa heavy growth. The plant is essentially branching exponentially as if you would be training a photoperiod with main root separated in two distinct stems. There is an unreal amount of budding, and I am a little lost on how I would e able to develop all those colas properly rather than end up with a bunch of popcorn buds. If you guys have any recommendations to systematically defoliate or how to develop all those bud sites, do drop me a comment The light intensity was increased from 4 to 6/10 directly proportional to the slightly hotter feed solution. Still not applying any major LST across, of any kind, but on the largest phoeno; let s see next week.

Things are gearing up in the tent. All the ladies have doubled again in size. My OCD took over common sense and past promises and I started LST the whole tent. Every plant has been worked on, all side branches tied down and minor defoliation done. All pictures are before and after for each plant.

Well Well Well, So much to say, so little time to say it. Fist things first: we are now in a 8 x 8, which is a landmark upgrade in my path to learning all I can about cannabis. Larger growing space allows you to work freely, comfortably even. It was about time and long overdue. Within 48 hours from being moved to the 8x8 each and every plant started to grow exponentially: Unfortunately this one had a run in with the portable heater. By mistake one day she was right in front of my tent heater and spent 4 hours of dark being cooked basically. An entire side of it was crisp and baked, which I promptly cleaned and trimmed as soon as I spotted it. You can see by the pictures how the whole inside and corner of the plant had to be trimmed away. That aside I am noticing that this particular phenotype is very similar to another one from 2 years ago literally smelling like cured meats. how freaking odd Now bathed in light by on all angles and with room to explode, I look forward to she how she does

Alright, it seems I am falling behind my updates here. So much to say, so little time to say it. I had few issues with humidity and temperatures which were solved by implementing the following: - extra hour of darkness, without any temperature fluctuation - added a big ass dehumidifier which actually improved electricity consumption by adding warm air (so little to no more heating), lowered humidity drastically keeping it at a constant 55/60% (saving on fan extractor now activating very sporadically) and last but not least I am developing a great closed loop irrigation system. I can now recycle up to 85% of the water I use for feeding by connecting the dehumidifier to my water reservoir, also assisting on a constant supply of ppm neutral water to use daily. I lowered solution ppm, but added an extra feeding during the day (6 hours prior lights out) She switched from pre-flower to full bloom in mere days. She is currently at the end of first stretch and developing quite well. Noticing that the main stem has pretty much doubled in size. She developed major side branches: that together with some pretty intense "not-so-LST" to manage the main colas resulted in a big ass plant, very much in line with the ancestral Moby dick sativa genes. She is developing quite well with dozens of bud sites all over. Terpenes: this is super weird. liken my first experience with it, she is showing this weird cured meat, bologna salami flavour profile. I would love to be wrong or more specific, but it is what it is and I made peace with it . She couldn't be more sativa than this: bushy and lush with this hulking type of growth. cannot wait to fast forward 3 weeks and see how stacked she ll be. all in all I am very happy of the developments. From next week I will start using my canon camera to better capture how glorious she is growing.

Alright, it seems I am falling behind my updates here. MOby Dick keeping on Moby Dicking it seems. vigorous growth horizontally, seemingly on the end of her second stretch. Not much to add but that she is taking over nearly 80 square cm's in space. looking forward to the trim and harvest of this beast. all in all I am very happy of the developments.

🌿 **Moby Dick Auto Grow Week 9 Update: Harvest Time Approaches!** 🌱 Greetings, fellow growers! It's time for an exhilarating update on the progress of our Moby Dick Auto adventure as we hit Week 9 of the grow cycle. With excitement mounting and buds maturing, let's delve into the latest developments: 🌟 **Abundant Bud Growth**: At Week 9, our Moby Dick Auto marvels are truly showcasing their potential, with buds swelling and resin production reaching its peak. The once-tiny flowers have evolved into dense, resinous clusters, promising a generous harvest in the near future. Trichomes are abundant, signaling optimal cannabinoid potency and aromatic richness. 📏 **Final Phase of Flowering**: As we enter the final phase of the flowering period, our focus is on maximizing bud development while ensuring ideal ripening conditions. By meticulously managing environmental variables such as temperature, humidity, and airflow, we're creating the perfect environment for our plants to flourish and achieve their utmost potential. 🍃 **Leaf Aging and Nutrient Management**: As anticipated in the late flowering stage, some leaves may exhibit signs of aging as the plant redirects its energy towards bud formation. This natural progression indicates that the plant is nearing maturity. Meanwhile, our nutrient regimen remains carefully calibrated, providing essential elements to support vigorous flowering without risking imbalances or deficiencies. 🔍 **Monitoring Trichome Ripeness**: With harvest drawing near, we're closely monitoring trichome development to determine the optimal time for harvest. Using magnification tools like jeweler's loupes or digital microscopes, we're scrutinizing trichomes for signs of ripeness, aiming for a blend of cloudy and amber trichomes to achieve the desired balance of cannabinoids, as well as flavor and aroma complexity. 🌞 **Preparation for Harvest**: As we gear up for harvest day, our checklist includes gathering essential tools such as trimming shears, drying racks, and storage containers, as well as ensuring a hygienic and organized workspace to preserve the integrity of our precious buds. We'll employ proper post-harvest techniques and curing methods to safeguard terpene profiles and enhance overall quality. In summary, Week 9 signifies a pivotal juncture in our Moby Dick Auto grow expedition, where patience and precision converge in anticipation of the impending harvest of our prized buds. Stay tuned for the forthcoming update as we rejoice in the culmination of months of dedicated cultivation, yielding a bounty of premium-grade cannabis ready for enjoyment and sharing. Happy growing! 🌿✨

@Fat_Olsh_Farms, mate, must tell you, the more I see around, the more I see that when you look for bang on deadly consistent auto, barney s is the one to look for. each and every single one I got from them did either germinated into a huge lady, or did not germinate at all. Also, moby dick Is a huge yielder: 150/200 per plant indoor without sweating. I realised that if one wants to truly raise monsters, you must give them space and you can scrog a single moby auto easy into a 1sqm
