Day 26 - Girls got a top watering and a foliar feed in preparation for LST now that they've put some more height on. Smell inside of the tent is awesome.
Day 27 - Got the net installed and the plants trained down into the net as best as I could. #3 was the easiest as she is the tallest, the other 2 are staying shorter and more bushy, but I was able to get them spread out as much as I could.
Day 28 - I did a little more LST on the net, and cleaned up/ directed the new growth in the direction I want the plants to grow in. Humidity has started to self-maintain inside the tent, just need to keep the girls fed properly and keep on top of the screen until they flower at this point.
Day 29 - Did a more thorough tie down tonight to get the plant stems where they needed to be, just used plant ties and drilled some holes into the sides of the pot. Gals get fed again tomorrow, mycorrhizal drench and some GrowBig. I need to start taking pre training pictures instead of post, they normally don't look this disheveled I promise.
Day 30 - Gals got a top feed tonight, approximately 2 quarts of GrowBig and mychorrizae solution per plant. Did some more training and didn't think to take a picture beforehand.
Day 31 - Gals got a continuation of the top feed with 2 more quarts of water per plant. Not as worried about runoff now that I have a shop vac to help pick up the excess water. Just need to keep training them into the net until I have a nice, even canopy for flowering.
Day 32 - Another day, another training session on the net. Dialed the light up from 75 to a touch under 80%. Starting to get kind of thick in there, hoping I can get a full canopy over the next week or so.
Gold leaf #1 has developed a white substance on one of its seed leaves. Can anyone tell me what this is, and if I need to do anything to combat it it necessary? Going to let the Gold Leaf dry a little bit (no water) over the next 24 hours and see if that helps.
if that is a peat plug or anything like it, it is void of nutrients and plants need them to grow.
It also looks to wet and waterlogged that's not good for the baby roots.
Double check you feed concentrations and watering habits. less is more in terms of water in seedlings and a week feed should be good for mediums void of nutrients.
Best Of Luck!
For people who use Blumat systems, what's the procedure for mixing in nutrients/supplemental things for growth? The Blumat system pulls water when the soil dries past a certain point, so what's the best rule for feeding in that case? Shut the system "off" a few days pre feed?
Your plants look really good. My grow setup is very similar to yours. My plants are in day 15 starting wk3. Keep up the good work. GDP is a great strain. One of my wife’s favorites. We love the purple strains the best.
