Nice progress this week, flowers forming nicely. I gave them mills pk and they are looking happy. I took a lot of shade leaves off to let the light through to the lower buds . All good so far โšก๏ธ I also started giving ultimate pk, they are responding well, I think really good to start seeing aeeing action off the the girls, I've never grown this strain before and she takes ages to get going. I've got a feeling it's going to be worth the wait.

I noticed that I had what I thought was nute burn, I had only been feeding half strength canna A/B coco feed so I was confused and just thought that I had a sensitive strain on my hands ( ph5.8 I noticed my lights were on 24hrs! Would this cause the brown leaves?

Hello ! In coco not only the PH matter , the EC/ppm is very important as you need to check your EC to know how much nutrients you give them. Are you using canna A+B or just B (Your infos says only the B part) ? You need to know that the input ec and ph can be different from the output (water runoff) , so you also need to check the water runoff values and correct the input when necessary, for exemple you can have a 5.8ph input but a 5.5 output . That said , it's looks like a nutrient burnt to me. I hope it will help you ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘

I've read that Ghost Train Haze takes 10 weeks to flower, I have only ever grown 8 week flowering plants in the past. I am at 3 weeks of flower at the moment and my plants are only just showing 1or 2 hairs here and there. At what week will I need to add Pk?

Hello @The_La ! They will start flowering soon. From the third week you can start adding slowly and go to maximum dose at around week 6 but in order to be sure about the dose you have to use an EC meter. You also have to lower your humidity or you are going to have serious problems later. Do it by increasing the air circulation with a fan and make a light defoliation so the air can move freely. Also it would be nice if you could correct the night temperature. Happy growing ! ๐Ÿ‘Š

Can I have too much light in my tent? I have 3 600w dual spectrum hID in my 2.4 mtr tent My temps are fine , 30 inches between bulb and plant top , but one of my plants has started to foxtail a bit ( like a crown ) I know people with 2 gavitas ( 2k watts) without this issue,

the main reason plants foxtail is light issues , the other reasons could be stress, gens and temperatures. can you actually have too much light with LEDs... kinda not, i mean the sun is the brightest thing you can find on earth , probably beats 10 1kW lights no problem, and it does it daily. What might have happened is inconsistent lighting. So if you add more and more light, the plant freaks out because it's expecting less and less light as time goes on. Say in nature the plant should live through summer then near the end of its life in autumn which would have less light not more. So that's a common source of stress. Varying light distances also doesnt help if you don t do it right, that could be the other source. As a final comment on foxtailing : does it suck ? yeah a bit, but those foxtails are hella potent , and in the end they dont end up hurting yield much at all. Just check the trychomes, for when it's done. If it's started foxtailing, nothing much you can do about it - just ride that wave all the way to the finish line. Hope this helps bro! ๐Ÿš€

Look guys, I have to stop moaning ๐Ÿค— I have had a good growth spurt and my girls are coming along fine , I will post some pics later , Sure GTH may be a slow-burner but after defoliating a little last night I noticed a beautiful bud structure , I bent a load of buds down to increase the growth and utilise the scrog , it's onwards and upwards. It feels like I have turned a corner. If I do have 5 weeks left then these babies will be monsters

@HighTV,Don't loose your time bro. We will continue to be shocked by some non sense and GD team don't make a difference between a lame and a good answer ; only the point mater ๐Ÿ‘

@HighTV, i'm not getting your point or why you're talking about this and why earth has seasons, but i assure you i'm not the one confused here ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜…
HighTV

@CRiSPrGrow, """ i guess you mean an 1120w equivalence, is that of a HID or a LED""" No that means 1120w of power - after the light has been changed into other forms of energies with thermodynamics. Watts are not the same thing as spectrum... which HID, HPS, and LED have different versions of. Wattage just means power. ๐Ÿ˜Ž "can you actually have too much light with LEDs... kinda not" You CAN have to much light, because all light becomes becomes heat. I'm thinking you are confusing Wattage with Spectrum, Kelvin, or something else. Idk

I would never state that you have " inconsistent lighting" with 3 Hps 600w. Maybe you should check the light of those who give you advices like me and the others, maybe some are also using hps 600 ๐Ÿ‘

Long stretchy leaves, definitely a haze. I smoked some fantastic ghost train haze a couple years back, really fond of the strain I hope you get the same effect from this grow.

Nice one Totem , it's a double edge sword GD ๐Ÿ˜‚ One the one hand , it's great to see other people's gardens and ask questions to other passionate growers. But also I've been overthinking a lot on this run, mainly because I've never grown a 12 wk flower and I've felt a bit blind ( when to pk, when do they fatten up, why are they taking so long to show blah blah blah) and also I've been looking at so many beautiful and inspiring methods and gardens that I've been comparing. You know what they say? The grass is always greener ๐Ÿคฃ

Thanks for the advice Valhalla , your GG are looking good too brother . I've put a comment on your page regarding my experience growing GG4 . My night time humidity is 75 and daytime is around 35/40 I'm sorting a greenhouse heater so I can keep an ambient temp of 18c during lights off . Great diary by the way man ,
The_La
The_Lacommentedweek 96 years ago
Thank you mad scientist, My humidity is 30% when lights are on, 70% when lights areoff. I have the lights on at night as I live in a cold area , the lowest my temps have dropped when lights off is 6.5c So I will install a greenhouse tube heater to keep it at an ambient 18c Thanks for your advice bro
