Hello Growmies,
As we step into the eleventh week with our Caramel beauties, the spirit of perseverance is thick in the air. After overcoming the setback from the Mars Hydro Smart light's rebellion against consistency, it's heartening to witness the tenacity of these plants. Their resurgence is nothing short of miraculous, each plant unfurling with new vitality, as though embracing a second chance at vegetative youth.
It's been a hands-on period, adjusting to a more manual mode of operation. The Spider Farmer humidifier has been a silent sentinel, maintaining the moisture levels autonomously, while the infrared heat mat, under the vigilant regulation of an Inkbird controller, provides a stable and nurturing warmth. Even the Mars Hydro lights, now stripped of their 'smart' antics, are dutifully performing in manual mode.
The absence of a TrolMaster system in our tent hasn't dampened our spirits or hindered our capabilities. Instead, it has harkened back to the grassroots of growingโwhere attention to detail and a keen eye for the needs of our green charges are paramount.
The Caramels, aptly named for their sweet, indulgent aroma, are steadily progressing towards their harvest. The rich scent that hangs like a promise in the tent is a daily reminder of the rewards that await. And while we might not have the full automation of a TrolMaster system, there's a certain charm in the old-school engagement of dials and manual checks.
Each cola is thickening, a clear indicator that they've left the light mishap behind. The lush greenery is a canvas of hope, and while we've had to remain especially observant for any signs of stress or hermaphroditism, the garden remains a peaceful domain of potential.
The silver lining? Our hands-on approach could well be the secret ingredient that turns these Caramels into an extraordinary harvest. Perhaps, as with all great tales of recovery, it's the challenge that precedes triumph.
So, we march on, our journey with these plants a testament to the grower's eternal creed: adapt, overcome, and cultivate with care.
Fingers are indeed crossed for monster colas, but more than luck, it's our commitment to these plants that will see us through to a sweet and sticky finish.
Stay resilient, stay engaged, and always, stay lifted.
