I germinated in water with .25 teaspoons per gallon of Bigfoot root stimulator. After a couple days, I planted directly into a 4 gallon pot with the bottom 1/3 filled with supersoil. The top 2/3 is Happy Frog. Sprouted in a couple of days, and here we are. I can’t wait to see how this one turns out.
This thing is a monster at 2 weeks. I hope the trend continues. This is Auto Seed’s second biggest yielded, so I’m optimistic that it will. I’ve just been watering conservatively each time the soil dries.
3 weeks in and she’s exploding. Outward and upward. I took some big fan leaves off, in order to get more light and air to the side branches. The fan leaves were enormous.
Holy moly, what a difference 7 days can make! 12 inches grow. In that time. I defoliated quite a bit, and she didn’t bat an eye. I figured it was a go big or go home kind of moment, and I wanted to take advantage of such a vigorous grower. Flowering is beginning near the end of the week.
Hopefully the stretch is over. I’m running out of ceiling in my veg tent. The light is up as high as it will go. It’s got a funky sweet smell going on at turbo moment. Like maybe some overripe fruit. I’m getting some rust in the leaves, so it’s time to supplement the super soil with the Fox Farms trio.
Buds are developing nicely. Not super smelly yet. Just maintaining. She began showing some deficiencies last week, so I began feeding Fox Farms trio at about half strength, every other watering. It seems to have helped.
She suffered the same fate as my Polar Express. Trying to balance feeding after a smaller pot of supersoil runs out of a particular ingredient is a pain. Recipe for deficiencies, nute burn, and Ph fluctuations. Going back to plain Pro-Mix HP and liquid nutrients. 😄
Super soil would be a better option if I had room for 7 gallon pots. But her buds are looking good. They smell fruity and sweet. A few more weeks to go! I am really looking forward to smoking the combination of Jack Herer and AK47.
Harvested in week 11. Easy to grow. Good density to the buds. Taste is spicy, earthy, with hints of citrus. It’s soothing to the mind, with a decent body buzz. It’s more relaxing than motivating. It’s not one I worry about smoking too close to bedtime.
Your buds look amazing my friend and I believe congratulations are in order. You put in the work and time over the last few months and it has given you some beautiful results. I wish you all the best in your next grow and I'm so happy for you that this grow has turned out as beautiful as it has. Cheers my friend and happy smoking!
