Hello Growmies,
Week 4 has wrapped up for our Purple Lemonade FF, and it's been a period of steady growth and lush development. Although they're a few weeks behind their garden companions, these plants have not let time dictate their progress. They're a striking reminder that with the right conditions, growth will follow its own unique and beautiful course.
Purple Lemonade #1, at 28 days, is shaping up nicely. Not the tallest in the garden, but what she may lack in height, she compensates for with an impressive canopy spread. The lower branches, having been pruned with care, have directed their energy upwards, resulting in a compact yet prolific leaf structure.
Her sister, Purple Lemonade #2, is keeping pace. The scrogging technique has encouraged her to expand horizontally, creating a vast green sea of leaves that captures light efficiently. This horizontal growth strategy is a wise use of space and light, promoting an even canopy that's vital for the flowering stage ahead.
The feeding regimen has remained unchanged, with Alga Grow, Sugar Royal, Power Roots, and Orca providing a balanced nutritional profile. This consistency in their diet is reflected in the uniformity of their lush, green leaves – a clear indication of their health and happiness.
The environmental conditions, mirrored from the Caramel setup, have proven to be just as effective for these Purple Lemonades. The stability in temperature and humidity, along with the gentle airflow provided by the extraction box, has created an optimal growing environment that both plants have thrived in.
From the images provided, it's clear that Purple Lemonade #1, while sturdy, is the more modest of the two, with her growth more contained and her form more rounded. Purple Lemonade #2, on the other hand, is reaching out with a bit more audacity, her stems stretching out as she takes full advantage of the space provided by the scrog net.
As we move into Week 5, the potential of these plants is palpable. Their vibrant leaves and strong stems suggest a bounty of buds in our future. It's a grower's delight to witness such vitality, and I am filled with anticipation for what the coming weeks will bring.
Stay lifted,
Salokin
