Having a lux meter has improved my grows so much. Knowing your DLI and where the hottest/coldest parts off your plants (ppfd wise) is just really the next step in adding that thing to your grow(s) that sets your next crop from your last. As I'm a long way from where I want to be. My next crop will focus on 2-3 plants. Doing 35 really is its too much work. Timing and moving plants around as there all at different stages. Like autos in pre fower will only take about 35-40dli before showing stress (drooping for ages after lights out or near the end of lights on) but, really you only see it about 20m after lights out. So its kinda of a ritual for me to check my girls after I put them to bed. Also doing 3-4 swaps and plant moves in and out of my dark room, or moving from the 70cm2 into my 1m2 (having a same spectrum of very close is a must if you're going to reg change lights/tents. As for this strain. She's really happy. Bit of wind burn you can see my 360degree ball fan is to powerful on its lowest setting. I'm thinking of putting something to break the wind on her. I did remove the 1st true leafs/nodes much later than I did with my 2 Fastbuds (that stalled for a wk) but they're back strong. And no early flip. Really only thing I can think of is the DLI and not stressing them day in day out with lights out has improved all my plants. (Lux meter id suggest any grower who wants to push their limits) Maintenance 1st True leafs/nodes removed to help energy move to the next more important sets. Very little to no feed. I'm keeping her going with Fish force and Royal mix soil. This week I'll be adding Xpert Nutrients. Days 22-35 last veg week & change, and rest stretching (sexing) before going into pre flower. (Note this is a growth phase. And should be treated as so. Slowly cut back on grow but she's not in need of bloom NPK just yet. Here's the thing with these mineral nutrients. They turn around after 2-4 days. The plant had used up its core npk feed. I'm finding if anything. I'm going to need to up my feeding to 3x a wk. And its showing in my grows. HOT DAMM its been my best crop. So what you see is mainly from a 300w light and excellent nutrients. I've done many harvests. I've broken out my 480w to cover my crop. But my FC3000 well the little light that could is overstated. She's an Excellent light. I'd say you'd have no issue getting an even crop coverage with rotating and a 90cm2 tent. A 1m2 is a bit big, but for vegging the outskirts while plants roated under its hottest part and harvested in stages. This plant is still under a FC3000 in this 2 wk period. FEED & MAINTENANCE Gave light defoliations through her last veg wk & while she was stretching main leafs removed after they done their job...'Stretching my nodes. Now I stripped and the leafs after the main fan leafs will use their energy to grow & inso doing expanding my base as a whole during her transition period from veg-pre fower. For Feeding it was real simple. I gave all nutrients in 1 mix and used Silca to bring the PH to 6.6/7. So feeds were between 450-550ppm with master root / grow parts A+B 2X feeds a wk. With enzymes and a calmag feed give her low EC to act as follow a feed and adding the extras of course for what they are. An amnio calmag with vitamins. And enzymes and silica (very small amounts to tweak the ph) and 1'd just give 1 main plane water feed a week. (Tap 110ppm.6.7ph 500ml as were the feeds for week 4&5 500ml a day. XPERT NUTRIENTS have been a gift. My God. If there's ever having control over every part of a plants needs could ever want. Just keep good ph and my god. This stuff is liquid of the gods. I'm a true convert. I was leaning organic. But even with organic I find i still need to lean on the likes of silica and some pk enhancer. Like plagrons big organic deal. They sell a kit. An alga kit when 40% of it products, aren't organic. So with these. They have Mineral & Organic that can work in the same window. Once there's a set even ph. Then that's it. No organic doesn't need ph'in but the synthetic additives for bloom and silva need ph'in or some element. So I find these have THE MOST ADVANTAGES in nutrients working together, in a short window together in pure synergy. !!!!! !!!!!!!!!! Days 36-48 weeks 6-7 of pre flower day 2-15 Plant is responding really well having 14hrs of light under my FC3000, and I've been using IR to give my fems extra flowering time & this has suited my Autoflowers really well. New nutrients i see huge improvements in all of my Autos not only from MSNL but crop wide. Root Zone increased 3x easily. Been organic/mineral you need to PH to 6.7 for soil. Are ideal 6-6.1 ph in-between coco/soil and you adjust as needed. Really happy with their push for my plants. She has put on a nice bit of height. Her smell is very new to my grows, as I've not grown a purple haze or smoked it in years. Fruity, like a soda, typical PH, can't wait to taste this girl. (She's currently just been taken out of my tent into dry room, I'll hang her in a few hours) FEEDINGS/DLI DLI is around 40-41 700-730 ppf over 14hrs with UV-A calculated in. Core NPK feeds have been only 1x every 5-7 days 450-550 ppm, next week I'll start adding there pk /bloom booster. Master root & everything else brings the general ppm per day 7-1000 with enzymes & master root having huge EC change to water. (Note? Welcome to my Purple Haze Autoflower Diary sponsored by MSNL & Xpert Nutrients. Day 50-56, Week 8 Plant has finished up pre flower in this week. She hasn't put on any height the last 2 days. 67.5cm plant itself is very healthy, lots of tightly packed Stigmata, (pistils tightly packed together). Getting a really nice Purp Haze Smell already. She's gonna be a stinky one i reckon. She's getting done under the SE5000 for her fattening, so should be getting a full tent with nice buds and no larfy/airy bud sites, let's see. Maintenance Some leaves removed on her last few days to allow light to penetrant deeper into the plants bowls (lower/mid parts). Also some final Lollipoppoing was done. She ha a lovely natural shape. So I don't need to do any LST, this is a common thing with MSNL strains, they build a perfect structure when under good environment. Happy with her Height and what she'll give back, after fattening has finished I'll do some more defoliations during Ripening. I'll also be changing the Nutrient Bloom parts A/B ratio, providing more Of B (has more PK) and lower the N, I like the fact there no extra PK booster. You control the NPK by supplying parts A/B and taking each ppm giving u a rough NPK to suit the plants needs, the Bloom booster (has no EC impact, it's a stimulator for pistils and to help the Nutrients you're given. Welcome to my Purple Haze Autoflower Diary sponsored by MSNL & Xpert Nutrients. Weeks 9-10 Days 57-70 Plant went much quicker than I thought it would. I think the IR730nm helped speed the flowering easily by a 7-10days. She had a really good final week. She drank like a mad woman until the very end. Although there was No mad drainage from reserve nutrients in the leaves. 95-100% cloudy coming into end of week 10. Ambers range in the 15-25% in dif areas. (THIS STRAIN HAS BEEN CURING A MONTH NOW, F..K ME I'M IN LOVE). Strenght wise It's 🔥. Taste is lovely and catches your throat. Extremely potent, I'll leave it at that until harvest week. Removed a few leaves during my last 2 weeks to help ripen and finish this lady. Took really well to defoliations throughout her entire cycle. Nutrients XPERT NUTRIENTS were used for most all of this grow. Seen a 20-30% extra in yields, much denser buds, and at least 3x more taste. (More on harvest wk). Pult all Nutrients at the end of week 9. She drank water for 5-7days and just finished up really nice IMO. I also dropped the PPM for core NPK nutrients. 350-400ppm, sticky/sugar & enzymes were kept the same. Which added 3-500ppm in itself but this EC has no ill affect on the EC that burns plant (Salts, NPK) Thanks to my sponsors from MSNL & Xpert Nutrients. Have really loved doing my 7 MSNL strains this crop, (all but 2 left to harvest). Nutrients have been used in 60-70% of my crop from start to finish & touched 100% of my crop once I got them.
