BreakingBud First time I am growing an autoflowering strain and I am prepared with New full spectrum Led, with extra red diodes. 320w for veg and 640w for flowering.
First off the seeds from fastbuds via attitude seed bank are soaked in distilled water at 68f for 48 hours in a small pot. Then pot is drained and seeds are picked out. Jiffy pellets are then soaked in tap water for 10 minutes then squeezed to remove excess water. Seeds are the carefully popped into the centre and placed in darkness for 2 days at 70f.
after 2 days, 125w CFL is set to 18hours on. Then within 24 hours the seedling protrude from the jiffy pellets.
I have a small pot of water in the propagation tent to ensure maximum humidity!

BreakingBud First nutrient i am using is vitalink plant Start at half strength nutrients at a PH of 5.8.
Even though the plant Start nutrient is designed to feed seedlings at 4ml per litre, I still think it's a safer bet to use at half strength 2ml per litre.
Same again soak jiffy cubes for 10 mins in
the nutrient solution. Then just pop the jiffy pellet straight in the top.
I squeeze out any excess liquid so it is not over saturated.
Currently I am on day 21 in Jiffy cubes but as I have taken all the photos on digital camera it takes me a while to transfer them over to Grow Diaries, and Its relatively time consuming, but bear with me anyone following this diary!
Note: my tap has a filter system! I'd recommend using filtered water guys to soak your jiffy pellets in! Chlorine kills the microbial life.

BreakingBud Plants recovered well from saturated rootzone, then topping commenced. No stress problems, will top again in a couple of days to create four colas. Also treating the cubes with beneficial bacteria before transplant. So far so good.
Update: transplanted into coco 16l air pots ready for veg.
I will be using plant magic full range!

Day 22 of veg.
Uneven canopy due to roots zones drying out differently against the water schedule along side the genetical factor.
Co2 set at approx 800- 1000

BreakingBud *DAY 18 OF FLOWER*
IVE MESSED THIS DIARY UP A BIT...Led full spectrum lamps are amazing. Growth is phenominal. To much actually. Probably only need one led panel for first weeks of veg and flower. Feeding schedule is brilliant. Overall happy so far, however ridiculous amounts of plucking has been required so far and could still spend more time reducing fan leaves etc.

BreakingBud Day 38 of Flower
Introduced platinum pk and increased coco bloom dosage. I have noticed the terpenez intensifier has aromatic effect on the plants already. I have raised the led lamps.
I am starting to wonder about theese genetics. I received them in a plastic back, not in the official packagaing from attitude as part of a promo. They seem large for autoflowers, however co2 was used during veg at a rate of around 900-1100 ppm so maybe this is the cause for the excessive growth. I waa worried the autoflowers would not fill the canopy. The plants did however start showing female buds around day 21 of veg, when i flipped to flower.
Big defoliation due, leaves everywhere, keeping the humidity higher than it could be. I will trim everything not receiving light.

BreakingBud day 41. Last day of week 6. 2nd phase of flower defoliation complete. However i feel that a 3rd phase may be needed.
Plants starting to smell very kushy and berry like. Beautiful aromas! I can also detect the terpenez aroma emiting from the oils. Hopefully the buds will start packing on weight now!

BreakingBud Day 43 of Flower. Temp and humidity is slightly inconsistent with slight peaks and troughs deviating from the set temp.
I increased the feeding schedule to 2x 1minute at 1l per plant per minute. Doing this caused the humidity to rise above 60% so I have dropped back to 1 x 1minute.

BreakingBud Weight does not seem so good! Either leds are not great, plant magic sucks or genetics are crap.
Day 49 plants are struggling to put weight on!
Doesnt look set to be a great yeild.

Leds are really great for ripening, swelling is enganced along with bud density the aroma is much better than that of hps as the terpenes are not disintegrated.
Some of theese girls are awsome, a few have suffered. However they are all ripening nicely even though yeilds have been hurt this maybe due to:
Lack of light spread from LEDs.
Nutrient temperature to cold.
Genetics.
The fact that i reused the growing medium without effectivley clearing the original rootzone.

BreakingBud Plant have ripened nicely at week 9. I still have concerns of the authenticity of the seeds, as stated before I recieved the seeds from attitude as part of a promo, seeds were not in original packaging so I guess they could be anything... However the buds do smell very berry like and there is some awsome bud in there. I have looked at the other diaries of blackberry by fastbuds and theese girls sure do look different.
This was generally a difficult grow, there was however some great bud in the end. Not amazing just great! Aroma is very sweet and grape/bubblegum like. Smoke is super smooth!

BreakingBud Got a better result than I expected, I pretty much wrote this one off, genetics were not that great, a few problems were encountered during this grow, with that in mind thete is great potential with LED as I could 100% expect a greater yeild next time round. All that said and done..Im happy with the result. 0
These white flower spots are burned flowers from LED light. I have had this issue also and was wondering what it was until I found an article in a grow magazine. Just to let you know, bro 😉
@TheIceCreamParlour, i haven't grown autos before... im nit sure what to expect. I veged for 3 weeks with co2 at around 1000ppm, could be due to the led panels running 640w full spectrum. I didnt expect them to get as big as they are, growth is borderline out of control...
@LockDownGrow, I agree, I have had the same concerns.. I received the seeds from Attitude seed bank as part of a promo however the seeds were not in original packaging.
@CRiSPrGrow, yea, im going to keep pushing, however I think defoliation was to intense. This is also the first time I reused Coco, I wonder if that has contributed to some of the deficiencies I have noticed. I have flushed the medium twice throughout the flowering stage to try and combat any imbalances.
@IndicaRising, I used to use hydroton in flood and drain system for a long time! And then DWC, I found veg growth speed was excellent. I use coco now as I believe I achieve greater quality buds.
