For my soil mix, I use Fox Farms Ocean Forest and Fox Farms Happy frog mixed together 50/50. Then I add in some perlite, 80% soil mix and 20% perlite.
Day 1 - I'll keep the light on 24/7 for the first few days
Day 2 - Misting the girls several times daily with de-chlorinated tap water
Day 3 - Several Afghani Indica landraces were bred together with a Brazilian Sativa to create this strain 💪
Day 4 - I'm going to water her tonight with de-chlorinated tap water with 1tsp Advanced Nutrients Sensi Calmag Xtra and .5tsp Recharge per gallon, ph'd to 6.53

Day 9 - I have a humidifier hooked to a controller outside my tent, with the humid air sucking right into the tent intake. The sensor for the humidity is inside the tent, so the measured value is the actual value in where the plants are. Currently at 59% humidity and 77 degrees F.

The Opium took me on a fun ride! She was a pleasure to grow and I'm happy she cruised along to a nice finish. I'll update the rating if necessary once I get to sample the goods. I can already tell she’s gonna be a good one just by the smell and stickiness.
Well, this grow has come to an end. I have mixed feelings about that, as I enjoyed the journey, but at the same time I can't wait to try this stuff. 😁 Man, I knew from the start it was likely I was going to get addicted to opium. 😶 But hey, what the hell, I gotta know. She was a bit of a job to trim, many breaks to clean the scissors, but me and my grow neighbor plus another bro got her done in about 3.5 hours. She's hanging pretty in the infamous spare bedroom and I can't wait for her to dry up and go into the Grove bags for a cure. Of course, strictly for quality control purposes, a sample will be tested by our expert panel of esteemed judges prior to the cure.
SMOKE REPORT
Well, the results are in! And it was unanimous I might add for the record. We have 4 esteemed judges who are now addicted to opium. I was worried that might happen, and my worries were well founded apparently.
First, let me go over the rigorous requirements our judges faced in making our decision. Aroma? Check. Flavor? Check. Stoniness Factor? Are two checks allowed? Yield? Check. Ease of grow? Check. The opium produced a very nice earthy and dank flavor. The aftertaste after indulging has a sweet undertone to it, very nice! This is a fairly strong strain, definitely couch-lock. Buy oh so tasty, love it! I will be growing it again, and soon. This one’s a winner.
