This time i went for the Deep Candy CBD from the Green House Seed Company.
The Deep Candy CBD is out of stock for a long time, but luckily i got my hands on a 10 pack.
Here is some info about the strain:
Deep Candy CBD Feminised - Green House Seed Company
Genetics: Proprietary High CBD, low THC strain
60% Indica, 40% Sativa.
CBD: 15%
THC: 0.3% / 0.6%
Flowering time: 8/9 weeks
Taste: The Deep Candy has an amazing sweet sugary smell and taste that will instantly remind you of your youth when entering a candy store or a fun-fair.
Flowers: It produces some very resinous buds with a strong candy smell during the flowering phase and it can get very pretty colors towards the end of the cycle from red to dark blue depending the phenotypes and temperatures.
Effect: Deep Candy produces a relaxing body effect that will give you a sensation of tranquility without any of the psychoactive sides therefore keeping a clear head the whole day.

At the end of the day i placed the Deep Candy seed in a wet coffee filter (PH: 5.8) inside a zip-lock bag.
I hang the bag in a dark and warm place so the seed can germinate.

She took a bit longer to germinate compared to other seeds, probably because its a bit old, but thats no problem at all!
The root was nice and long enough so i put it inside a 0.5L pot with Plagron Lightmix.
At the and of the day she is already above the ground!

As for my waterings, i give RO water, with 0.50 grams of Calcium, and 0.2 ml of Atami Rootbastic a liter.
Growdiaries wont let me put my nutrients in grams so i'm forced to choose mililiters.

No pictures, but i do have a timelapse from 4-2 to 15-2.
I bought an Wyze V2, and i recorded all my plants growing in my pre-growing closet.
Now the cam hangs in my 3x3 tent with 2 Gorilla Kush, and 2 Chemdog, so thats why this is the only timelapse i have for the Deep Candy.
The Deep Candy is in a separate tent, maybe i will buy an extra cam for this tent, so i can shoot timelapses for all my grows.

As you can see, since 19-2 the leaves are showing some problems.
Maybe she is just hungry, as there are already 3 weeks past, and the Plagron Lightmix has enough nutes in it for approx 3 weeks.
I see some problems on my other plants aswell, so maybe something with the feed or the PH is off.
Or maybe she dont like the Silica i gave her while she is still in her 0.5L pot.
We will see how it goes.

Today i found out that my PH meter wasnt working correctly, the water had a PH of 5.5 instead of 5.8.
Maybe this is the reason why the leaves were acting weird.
I also transplanted the Deep Candy to a self made 22L airpot, and gave her fresh made 700 ml.
I placed the Deep Candy in a 50x50x120 cm tent, the light set to 60% with a distance of 50 cm.

After some waterings without any NPK nutes, the leaves are still very green, this indicates there is still enough nutrients available in the soil.
From now on the last 1.5 weeks of flower i will only give RO water with an PH between 6.3 and 6.4

Installed a humidifier outside the tent, set to 55% aiming for a 60% humidity inside the dry tent.

After 14 days of slow drying she is ready to be trimmed.
While posting this a couple of months later i found out that i totally forgot to make pictures and video's of the trimmed buds 😅
It was a very nice daytime smoke, tasted sweet-sour.
End results:
74.26 Grams of bud
57.90 Grams of small buds and trim, in the freezer for bubble hash.
I have some trim and small buds saved up from different strains and i will be posting a diary of the full process making hash of them!
