Also, I avoid hydro because of the lack of time I'm at home. Something you might want to consider.
As you now know, it just takes one thing to fail when your not around and it can result in months of work out the window.
Which ultimately sucks not only because you lose crop potential/yield but stress factors could cause hermies.
At least with a good quality organic grow, nutrients are released over time, which is perfect for my on the go lifestyle.
Don't lose hope though, I've seen plants recover from much worse.

I just bought a 4x4 bed, the ingredients for the best dirt money can buy, a blumat system. i'm over a grand in and boom, i have to move.....my friend is letting me finish the plants there but now i can't mix myliving soil. Terrible year for me, my architecture firm went under and iwas the owner.it's not helpingme get jobs lol.fml. but sooni'll be growing living soil!
