Getting to some of the last of my first rounds of seeds I bought. Blueberry is always nice and should be cool to grow with the purples. I really hope I get some Blueberry terps with her, and is a keeper so I can use her to breed with. Plan on about 10-12 week veg then move to flower tent.Soaked overnight about a day then direct sowed into 5 gallon fabric pots with the veg soil mix I posted a picture of the ratios i used if you can read it. I have my soil mix kind of mapped out on my other diaries but I feel like everyone kind of has their own things they like when making their growing medium. Decided to make my own bio/char this time as i had some hardwood charcoal and made a regular batch of boogie brew to charge it. Then followed the next few days with sole liquid kelp and Buddha bloom. I sowed them last saturday and thought I wasn't going to get some to sprout as it got very cold all of a sudden and my tents got down to low 60's at night they almost took the whole week to sprout but eventually all the seeds for this round came up and are looking perfectly healthy and ready for life.

Was away unexpectedly for 3 days this week. I didn't have much time to prepare the plants and watered them all before i left. I dimmed the lights and turned the fans down some too. All seemed to do the trick. Luckily they all looked better than when I left them. The mom plants started to take over the light and a few of the new seedling look slightly stunted from it. I'm not to worried though they should bounce back fine. Part of it seems to be just the genetics as well. Seedlings got a light dose of liquid kelp and a tiny amount of residual bloom feed from watering my big plants.

Blueberry is looking very pretty. And Already a good size. Its a little smaller the my other photoperiod I have going now that is in the middle of the tent, that seems to be getting the benefit of the overlap of my lights and is bigger because of it. So i decided to rotate the plants on the left to the right so they can even out and share the extra light. I think I will be topping at the end of this week for the first time. I have another 6 weeks at least before my flower tent will be avalible so I have some time to do some training and may be better to get my topping done sooner rather than later.

Blueberry is growing beautifully. Shes a short gal but she is still growing vigorously and getting bushy. Really cool rounded look to the leaves edges compared to the sativas im growing. No topping or trimming yet but maybe this week she will get topped .

What a gorgeous looking plant! Some of the middle fingers of the leaves are nearly a foot long and cover my hand! I do like sativa smoke but indica plants are so pretty. I topped her for the first time. And shes been drinking around 1 gallon every 2 days, and starting to get thirstier. Feeding low dose of liquid kelp and cal-mag every other watering. Been a while Since Ive made some boogie brew so i think I will make some up for the plants this week.

Got busy this week and wasn't able to give them all the attention they needed. They dried down a little and got a slightly too acidic feeding. I gave a top dressing of warm castings from my worm bin to help with some fungus gnats by adding some nematodes. They got a little fish hydrolysate and very low dose of buddha bloom to get them ready for flower In a few weeks.

I was wondering what was casing the slight leave burn issues and concluded that they just dried out a little too much. I bought platters to make my life easier when cleaning up my runout. I watered in everything nice and gave all my veg plants/moms a top dressing of gia green 4-4-4, pure protein, rock dust and worm castings. They also got a feeding of compost tea: Thinking about it i should have added some of the neem meal as fungus gnats are back despite letting them dry and and watering with the mosquito dunks in my water reservoir. I added worm castings from my bun hoping the nematodes would take care of the larvae but i think i just gave them more area to live. I forgot to put stick traps out one day so that didn't help but they are really bit too bad that I'm worried about it. My flower tent is unaffected. Only 1 more week of veg in the veg tent then I will be switching the new plants to the flower tent. I'm thinking i may only need another 2 weeks of veg to let the 2 plants fill out each 4x4 section. I also upgraded to grassroots 65 gallon pots each from the 30 gallons i have now. Both plants got a slight lollipop and removal of low suckers and some of the larger fan leaves removed to make eat for the new tops that are large enough.

The new photoperiods were happy to get transplanted today. They were starting to get a little stressed on the top growth. Some tacoing and color fading. I had to let them dry back a bit because I watered too much and fungus gnats getting a little lit of hand. It always happens when I need to top dress, and they get thirsty. They both got transplanted into 50-gallon pots. I ordered the grassroots 65-gallon pots but they got delayed in shipping so I decided to just get some other pots instead of waiting to transplant because the girls were begging for more space in the root zone and canopy. I topped all the tops I could and defoliated the bottom and crossing and stuff in the center or covering new shoots. I decided to try the elastic net again as I am not very good at getting the nylon stuff in the roll straight and taught by myself. If I need to do a second layer I think I can manage m to string a whole 8-foot length across the tent but they shouldn't stretch too much and I don't think I will need it. Not sure how I managed to get the liberty under the net. It went much smoother this time. But right after I told myself I might not snap anything I split one of the stems! Lol but I put some grafting tape she'll be okay. It was the blueberry. After getting the old 30 gallons out and cleaning the tent top to bottom and all the equipment/fans. Used 99 alcohol diluted down a little then peroxide. Took about 3-4 hours. I re-evaluated the fan set up and added one in the center and far side. The 50-gallons got filled with soil I mixed up a little while ago in containers when I started the plants and is nice and ready. 5-gallon bucketed it down from outside. I had separate veg/ flower mix. I put 20 gallons of the flower mix in the bottom 10 gallons of the on top of that and 15 gallons on top of re-used soil from old runs that has been baking for a while that I re-amended with neem seed meal, humic acid, worm castings and gia green 4-4-4 right before planting. I used mykos in the water and some around the rootball. Water in with about 2 gallons each. They were very thirsty when i transplanted and they started to perk up and could see the green coming back to the leave tips

After transplanting spreading the limbs out last week the plants have adjusted well. Kind of broke the golden rule of not doing two things at once and i did 3 lol. Defoliated transplanted and trsomewhat of a high stress train all in one day but they took it well. I wanted to flip to flower at the end of the veg week, but the plants need just a few more days to recover. I watered in with 1 1/2 gallons at transplant and waited 4-5 days before watering again, but after I did all the green came back to the tips of he leaves where it was starting to look yellow and stressed. I can't seem to keep the gnats down while keeping the water level the plants like without leaf tip discoloration. Maybe the soil is just to rich and needs the extra water to keep the plants ppms happy. Going to do water only this run. But will still add a few ml per gallon of cal mag as it also does a good job at lowering my ph to the right level. I don't like to ph down my whole water res because depending on what plants im watering i need the ph to be high to buffer out the acidness of the buddha bloom. I bought some fresh mosquito bits and dunks because i had some laying around they house but unsure how old they were and their effectiveness as i still have gnats and was being cheap by using what i had sitting around, which made sense but i don't think they are working. I worked the bits into the top layer of soil using my hand to try and eliminate any eggs and gnats with physical abrasion then misted the top layer to activate it. Then added a dunk into the water res. I have a feeling the fresh ones might work a little better..

Changed the light schedule last night and the plants got 18 hours of dark in transition to flower. Somehow got 5 days behind over the weeks but with this update marks 11 weeks from sprout.

First week of 12/12 and looks to have stretched around 4 inches. The canopy is completely filled and all the suckers are forming tops of their own. I will have to get in for a slight defoliation this week i think to keep the canopy even and all the tips receiving close to the same amount if light. The feeder roots have already reached the edge of the 50-gallon pots. I'm amazed with the root growth seeing them pop up through the top of the soil. I got rid of the fungus gnats for now. It took think what helped was 1/8 parts peroxide to water in one of the waterings along with diatomaceous earth and pine shaving mulch on top of a dressing of neem seed meal and more mosquito bits and sticky traps on top. After 4 days my sticky traps are completely clean wish is a relief to see. Had two waterings this week spaced out evenly, though they are starting to deplete the moister quicker now that they are bigger and in the middle of stretch.

This week went well. I Was able to get the plant looking nearly 100 percent healthy, as before i had slight yellowing on leaf tips from too much water. I have decreased the amount of water and try to go an extra day once i notice it getting dry before watering and that seems to help. She stretched quite a bit this week. I had to even out the trellis net on the corners by sliding it up some where it was holding the tops down too far and was able to get the canopy near level. The buds are already quite big for this stage. I did a defoliation and watered and the next day the plants were praying and couldn't even tell i went in there and cut stuff despite removing half a buckets worth of foliage. My goal for the week is to get my humidity down as its been sitting around 65. I would to at least be around 50.

The plants have basically been on autopilot, but the foliage was getting to be to much again. I went for an even more aggressive defoliation than last week and could see the buds much better afterwards. Was also having issues with my humidity getting high mostly at night so I wanted to defoliate for that reason as well. I started running my dehumidifier in my lung room at night to help but my night temps have risen a few degrees in the process. I decided to give a little feeding with some of the liquid nutes just to make sure they had what they needed because the buds are bulking up fast and showing no signs of slowing down. They seem to be quite big for week 3.No distinct blueberry terps yet but it started to smell overall fruity in the tent today. Seeing trichomes start to grow up some sugar leaves. This week should be exciting to watch the buds grow

Buds are pluming up quick. Shes putting on much more frost this week as well. Her smell is starting to come through too. Sort of gassy but sweeter and I am also getting some hint of light blueberry. Its hard to tell because the other plant is also very fruity. Made compost tea this week. 1/2 cup each of boogie brew to 5 gallon of water brewed around 20 hours. Gave full strength aroun 1200-1300 ppm and watered in with my normal calmag water to get the biology down into the pot and to mellow out the ppm slightly. They are drinking a ton. I'm drying my best to get some dry back but they want water about every 3 days. This week went around 5-6 gallon per pot and they drank it right up. Also been feeding a little molasses and a little honey and also some rock dust in one of the mixes to mellow out the oh a little. I threw some coconut water in one of the waterings. They seem to be taking everything i throw at them including light. I'm tempted to push the lights harder but Its been pretty hot out and my night time temps have been higher than I want from having to run the dehumidifier

Buds are getting super chunky and don't look like they are slowing down! Pretty dense too. The last defoliation looks like it was no existent as well but im going to leave her alone. The buds are all getting fat down the length of the canopy. Water only this week with some cal mag. Top dressed with some Basalt though and a sprinkle of mosquito bits. The gnats seem to be under control again after that last feed of boogie brew seemed to help. Very thirst 3-5 gallons every 3 days. Im trying to go for 4 days but every time i water slightly more she seems to drink it up faster. Even though i did get a bit of runoff one watering from going a little too fast.

The buds are still getting big and chunky. They are growing quite densely as well. They are starting to lean a little but it looks like they will be able to hold themselves up until they are ready to harvest. About 50/50 white/orange hairs. I assume that the swelling of buds will start slowing down this next week. Trichome production has been ramping up. Only water with calmag and molasses. They are still quite thirsty taking 4 gallons ever 3 days. Blueberry leaves are starting to fade quickly from the center of leaflet out and starting to show some deficiencies. I think i is the plant just senescing on its own. Getting more diesel than fruity smell right now but I like it. It is slightly fruity as well. Looking at my one pictures made me realise something. The one of the dark green and light green leaf. I thought I maybe had excessive nitrogen but see the lighter sections where no light was hitting on the leave causing the two-tone. It has me considering that just because a leaf is light green doesn't mean that its not too much nitrogen. could have a compounding issue of too much N and too little light and not get dark leaves.

They are getting close. Been struggling to keep the humidity down and the temperature in a reasonable range. Haven't really been able to keep the nighttime temps below 70 for long. And humidity is around 50-55 percent at the lowest. Been drinking a ton of water still. Been stretching it out to every 3 days but still getting 3 1/2 gallons each time. Starting to fade to purple and looks really cool!

She was thirsty towards the end. It was alot to hard to time the last watering but it was 4 days before harvest but the plant was starting to droop the day before harvest but dimmed the lights and that helped.last watering was plain water a 7 ph. She went 1 day over 8 weeks in flower before being ready to cut down. She faded beautifully and slowly over the last few weeks. The buds are a very nice density and weight and her fuely aromas filled the whole house while I was harvesting. I have a 3x3 tent set up to dry and have it dialed in and should get a high quality dry. I was luckily able to fish the buds out from under the net without much trouble and the next round it going to be easy to set up. No sign of any issues at all. Everything went super smoothly and looks like I barely have any larf. Going to see how some of this stuff does on my rosin press it is super greesy. But I am still a noob rosin presser so we will see

Drying ended right at 14 days. Was able to keep 60 percent humidity and 60 degrees F very consistently, they could have dried a day or two longer but i wanted to press some rosin so i did a few test pressing throughout drying and decided I wanted to wait to trim everything to see how much i wanted to dedicate to pressing. I was a little off put by my first results but started experimenting more getting some decent results and yields. I got around 5g of dry sift that pressed into 2.5 grams of rosin. The flower pressed out around 17 percent yield. 5 grams in my nugsmasher mini seemed to work good and i 10 grams pressed worked decent to but the buds are so dense with this particular plant i think the 5 grams presses were yielding a lot better. Just beat out the Nevilles Haze in trimmed dry flower yield by only a few grams! Seems like I have it it mostly dialed in. My lights are 600w but running maybe 350-500w. Stoked on a nice harvest! She was a pretty plant to grow.
