You should not have to worry about overwatering ever. Unless you leave the potter in run off. You grow will likely do best always wet with the high percentage of coco in mix. Steady lst them. Possible selectively defoliate the center on plants if it's covering a grow point if you can't tuck the leaf under.

unless the leaves are creating an issue then Leave them alone because they are the main source of energy for the plant
